Escapada perfecta de vacaciones familiares!

El castillo de arena es la manera perfecta de pasar sus vacaciones en familia o con amigos.

Nuestra casa fue creada para grupos grandes y pequeños por igual. Tenemos cinco habitaciones grandes, todas con baño privado y su propia televisión. También tenemos una gran sala de juegos en la planta baja que cuenta con dos sofás cama tamaño queen y un baño / ducha estilo vestuario.

Somos uno de los pocos porches protegidos de la isla y te enamorarás instantáneamente de las mecedoras mientras disfrutas de las impresionantes vistas del océano que han convertido a Holden Beach en una de las playas familiares más populares.

Sabemos cuánto nos encanta tener a nuestros amigos peludos con nosotros en nuestras vacaciones, así que queremos que tengas el tuyo también. Our family had such a wonderful stay at the Sandcastle! The house exceeded our expectations, and the porch with that ocean view was spectacular!The kitchen was fully stocked, the game room was an added plus, and each bedroom had its own on-suite bathroom. Being dog-friendly, our furbaby absolutely enjoyed the porch as well!I highly recommend the Sancastle... Debbie, our host was very helpful and kind as well. Judy Robinson

The house was clean and well equipped. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Very few steps and a short path to the beach. Our family, three generations of adults, felt like this house was perfect. And that dining room table is one of a kind…perfect for our cake baking/decorating competition. Would definitely stay here again!

The SandCastle in February

We escaped the New England winter for 9 days in Feb. '25. The SandCastle is very warm and cozy. Temps were in the 40's, mostly 50's & 60's with teases of 70's - the perfect antidote we were looking for.In the winter, Holden beach is delightful, 6 people on the beach instead of 6,000. Better shelling b/c there is less competition. More wildlife, dolphins, bald eagle as well.SandCastle was great. Spacious, relaxing, we spent a lot of time out on the deck. Debbie was very communicative. Try an off-season trip. You'll love it!

Beach thanksgiving.

My family enjoys having thanksgiving together at the beach with our walks on the beach and looking for that special sea shell. It is our time to play games and enjoy being together as a family. This year was very sad my wife passed away in October and it was great to enjoy the time with my girls remembering how much she loved the beach.

Impromtu Getaway

It was a great place for us to stay along with our dog. The house was well stocked, comfortable, and quiet. We had one issue which the host took care of right away. We will definetly be going back. Loved it!

We all love this property!!! It fits everybody in our family including the dog. The only reason I deducted a star for cleanliness was there were quite a few very large roaches in the screened in patio and the front patio at night. Could not go out there most nights. And the morning we left there was a large roach in my bathroom and in the kitchen. I understand they are prevalent down south but we saw none when we stayed last year. Still we love your home!!! Wish we could stay next year but you were booked.

Family Christmas Vacation

This property is very spacious and was well stocked with everything we needed. It was so relaxing to see the ocean every morning, throughout the day, and in the evening. And being able to bring our fur baby made it even more homey. We also enjoyed the gameroom downstairs for some fun and family competitions. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect house for large family! Great amenities!

We loved the property and location! It was a perfect choice for our large family. The downstairs was a great place for the teenagers to hang out! The kitchen has everything you need as far as small appliances, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It lacked nothing! It was by far the most well stocked kitchen of any home we have ever rented. The host was very informative and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

Sandcastle FUN!

Heavenly Home on Holden Beach

We had a wonderful stay - the screened-in back porch was amazing, and that is where we all spent most of our time when we weren’t out on the beach. The home is lovely with more than enough space for all of us and a little something for everyone in our family from retirees to teenagers and a couple in between. Each bedroom has its own en suite and the downstairs “bonus” rooms were perfect when my teenage daughter wanted some space of her own to play video games and feel like she had a cool hangout. Well equipped with beach gear was a wonderful bonus! Can’t wait to come back next week!

Exceptional Choice

The Sandcastle was well suited for large families and their pets. We found it clean, practical, decorated beautifully, and with privacy for all within the group. I can’t say enough about the screen porch facing the ocean! After we went out to explore, coming back to relax there was the absolute best experience! The house was well equipped with everything you need or want to enjoy your stay. You won’t be disappointed. The high reviews are accurate. Thank you Debbie and family for renting your amazing beach retreat. We hope to return someday and gather around the unique round table again!

The Kinsey family has been coming to Holden for years. They tent camped in the 50's and were hooked. Now their kids are all grown with children of their own and they are blessed to be able to enjoy their home with four generations!

Our home has one of the few screened-in porches on the Island. When the weather chases us off the beach, the rockers and view make the day a success and the recreation room gets the children away from our listening to the ocean waves.
