Just inside the entrance to Shelter Cove Marina, this small private community is waiting for you to unwind beside yachts and watercraft of every kind, all while enjoying an updated and contemporary villa.  Walk inside and you will be surrounded by tasteful, coastal touches where every room is designed for comfortable, lowcountry-style living.  From the well-stocked kitchen to comfy bedding, this villa will charm you from start to finish.  Entering the villa, you are immediately welcomed by expansive windows that frame illuminate the space.. This villa boasts an open-concept layout with raised ceilings and a large deck overlooking the Shelter Cove pavilion, beckoning you to settle in and relax, island style.

The updated living room is well appointed with a comfortable sectional sofa with plenty of room for enjoying time with family, or catching your favorite series on the 70- inch Smart TV.  Dine inside or out, your choice, as both are easily accommodated with outside seating on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped, everything needed to cook a special seafood feast after a day at the beach, or just a quick bite between exploring the island. Two large bedrooms are upstairs, the master with a cozy king and guest bedroom with two Full beds, all with updated coastal bedding. 

Have to work a bit while you are here?  No problem.  A quiet desk nook is located upstairs in Master Bedroom.  Warning, you aren't going to want to work!

The beach is just a quick 5-minute drive or shuttle ride from the villa. Beach access is located in Palmetto Dunes at their newly renovated Dunes House, where you will find parking, dining and bathrooms nearby.  Beach gear (chairs and umbrella) are provided.  Just remember to bring your flip flops!  Whether seeking a serene retreat or proximity to nearby shops and restaurants, this villa is the perfect haven for small families or couples in search of accommodations that are private, have great beach access and close to a world of island activities.

Home to the iconic Neptune Statue with each villa boasting a private balcony for enjoying the views and breezes, for taking in the summer fireworks displays, or simply having a cocktail at sunset. Shelter Cove has evolved over the years into the island’s hub. Located mid island, this
Mediterranean- styled marina (repeat winner this year for best marina on the island) has
it all: watersports, dining, shopping, entertainment and extraordinary views. No matter
the time of day or night, the wrap-around boardwalk is filled with dog walkers, families
enjoying the sights or couples sharing quiet moments on the benches located along the
walkway.
Spring and summer are when Shelter Cove really comes to life. Nightly entertainment
at the gazebo, festivals and events of every kind, including the fabulous Memorial Day
Arts Festival. Most memorable is the always popular 30 th year, Tuesday night firework
extravaganza, Harbourfest, featuring vendors, music and kids’ activities, culminating in
a great firework display at dusk. (We have heard a rumor of something special planned
for the 250 th anniversary of the USA this year!) Enjoy kayaking, rent a boat for a quick
cruise down the waterway, go cruise and watch some dolphins or just enjoy the beauty
of the “back side of the island.”
