Most gorgeous condo!

The property was immaculate! Had everything as listed. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I plan on returning next year! The owner was amazing and so helpful! Couldn't have wished for a better vacation!

Great place to spend time on the besch!

We were very pleased with the modern and clean presentation of the condo. My family and I travel from the mid-west to New Smyrna Beach at least once every two years and loved this one. We prefer condos south of 27th street because the no-drive beach is much better for families with kids, so the location of this unit was ideal. Every condo has its pluses and minuses, but this one was as close to perfect as it gets. We loved it!

Wonderful amenities and very comfortable condo!

First of all, Charli was an absolute dream to work with for the rental of her condo. From my very first inquiry, her responses were extremely prompt and thorough. My husband and our two young children stayed here for a week around Easter this year, and very much enjoyed ourselves. The beds are all very comfortable, the closet and dresser space is definitely sufficient, and the kitchen is certainly well equipped with nice dishes, utensils, cookware, and gadgets. The community was very nice, and meet our needs very well. The unit was convenient to the pool and the beach, with a nice view of the courtyard from the balcony. We entertained local family members on several occasions, and as always enjoyed the quiet, clean, family-friendly beachside of New Smyrna Beach. My husband and I enjoyed another fabulous dinner out at The Garlic, and the stores on the beachside were more than adequate for all our needs. The only suggestions for improvement we could make would be to ensure more wash cloths and towels, since there are not laundry facilities in the unit; and to repair/replace the storm door on the front entrance, as it does not close slowly and will slam loudly if you don't hold it.

Home away from home

This is the first time renting a condo instead of staying in hotels and we will never go back. The condo itself is furnished so nice and set up for complete comfort. From the moment we got there, it felt like being right at home. The property grounds are very well maintained and the views from the condo balcony is great. We are close enough to hear and see the ocean from the balcony. (So relaxing) We never heard any other guests from the inside of our condo and there seemed to have a great mix of families and couples of all ages. The property is located in a wonderful location on the beach that was not overly populated. You also have a plethora of restaurants and shopping within minutes of the condo. The condo was supplied with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The only area that could improve if I had to get picky would request some curtains over the blinds in the master bedroom. This is simply a personal preference because we like a darker room while sleeping past sunrise. 😉 I can confidently recommend this property and definitely plan on booking again in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Mostly Accurate Description of Property Given

The condo was nice. However, the air conditioning only worked in the main areas ( living room&kitchen). There was no air through air vents in the bedrooms. There were fans, but in 80-90 degree weather, fans were not enough.

Jenn, If guests have any issues I ask them to contact me during their stay so all issues can be resolved immediately. I pride myself on that. Upon reading your review which is the first I heard about the a/c I immediately called the a/c company who were just out and informed me the unit is working absolutely fine. It’s a new a/c unit so I didn’t think there was anything wrong but always better to get it checked. They suggested you may have left doors/ windows / sliders open which can cause the coils to freeze so then not cooling properly. Sad to get a 3 star review for such a beautiful condo and a/c is working perfectly.

Always perfect !

I have been staying in Charli’s units for the last several years and multiple times per year . Everything is always clean and well maintained . We never have to worry about the “unknowns “ when we arrive - like we have in the past staying at other condos . I have referred many friends to connect with Charli when they are going to the area and will continue to do so . Always quick to respond by text or phone if we needed to reach her for anything . When looking on line at photos - often when getting there you are diaapppjtned ! Not the case - just as the units appear online . We have bounced between 3 of her units depending on our needs and availability and never been disappointed . Always look forward to our next trip !!

Amazing!!!!

This was an amazing place to stay! The beach was amazing as well as the pool! It had everything we needed, such as kitchen items, beach toys and linens (we flew in, so we were limited on how much stuff we could bring). The condo was plenty big enough for my family of six. There were lots of great places to eat nearby as well as fun things to do with the kids!

This condo deserves 10 stars!

Such an enjoyable stay! The condo is equipped with everything you need. Clean, comfortable and gorgeous. The resort has been renovated, I'd vote it the nicest in New Smyrna Beach. The pool deck is right on the beach, amazing views. Restaurants are amazing, we ate at The Garlic which is a must also JB's Fishcamp. Charli is a pleasure to deal with and has done a beautiful job with this condo. Don't stay anywhere else! We will return.

Wonderful stay

Everything was wonderful! The condo unit was clean upon arrival and had much more then other units I have stayed at. Thanks so much for having the extras like beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. We really enjoyed them. The kitchen had all the small appliances and anything else you would need. We had 4 adults and 1 child and the unit was spacious enough for us to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was good. Charli was very helpful and prompt with communication throughout the whole process. She even included a list of items you might want to have extra of like toilet paper, trash bags etc which I wish I had known with my first VRBO rental. We would definitely recommend and would return.

VERY NICE!!!

We stayed the week of July 9, 2017. Very nice and clean condo. 2nd floor unit located very close to pool and beach. Everything you need for your stay is provided in quantities to get you started. The construction that others have commented on is completed on this wing of the condos. The current construction is occurring in a different area and causes NO noise (inside the unit) or inconvenience at all. The owner responds extremely fast with clear communication and easy to follow instructions. Hope to be able to stay here again next year.

Impeccable 5 star condo on the beach!

This impeccable condo is clean, comfortable and felt like home. It had everything my family could possibly want from beach chairs, toys, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen and extremely comfortable furnishings. It's exactly as pictured. The beautiful views of the beach and ocean from the front and back of the condo are amazing. It was also great to be able to sit and relax on the balcony in the comfy rocking chairs and be able to see my children in the pool. The beach is a few steps away, easy access from the pool or down a short slope right outside the condo. The whole building has been renovated, painted and updated. It's very well kept and clean. The owner is extremely friendly and easy to work with. You can tell she takes pride in her condo. We didn't want to leave.

Second visit just as amazing as the first!

This is our 2nd stay at this amazing condo. Charli is easy to communicate with and responds immediately. The condo is spotless and well kept with everything you could possibly need. The construction/ repair work was being done during the week only and was not an issue, we were there to enjoy the beach anyway! Charli's condo deserves 100 stars and so does Charli. We have already carried our deposit over to next year to lock in our 2017 stay.

Under major construction; drilling, sawing, noise, no parking, workers everwhere

Construction mess is everywhere and there is no parking anywhere near the unit. I was never told this was going on. Crews are right outside my door and around the pool and walking up and down in front of my balcony. The noise in this unit is unreal, starting at 8 am this morning. The linens are used and disgusting, and the mattresses on the beds are saggy. A horrible horrible experience.

Susan, I was extremely shocked and disappointed when I read your review as we had communicated at the beginning of your stay and I immediately addressed and compensated your concern. You responded with an e-mail to me saying “Thank you for your apology. I may have overreacted……..I know these things happen………I enjoyed the beach and the pool”…… You had a 4 night 3 day stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The crew spent a few hours Friday working which they had not been authorized to do and unfortunately owners were not made aware. From what I was told they were putting equipment in place to get ready to start work on the Monday after you checked out. The other 2 days of your 3 day stay were Sat and Sun where absolutely no work was done as the crews do not work weekends. See my previous e-mails where we already discussed this. We always notify our guests when we know there’s construction and offer discounted rates. Guests can enjoy the beach and know they can enjoy the pool anytime but may be noisy 8-3 if there’s work being done in that area. After 3pm Mon thru Fri and all weekends and holidays there’s no work being done. The construction has to be done to maintain our beautiful building and is a temporary inconvenience. You called me about the parking, I talked to an owner staying in the complex at the time and was told there was plenty of parking. You said you didn’t realize you were allowed to park where it says all around the complex ‘Parking for owners and guests only’! Which explains why you couldn’t find parking! All the information was in your check in procedure. You made no mention of the sheets or beds in your previous e-mails or conversations so your review was the first I heard. I question with all our communication that if it was an issue why you didn’t mention it before now?The linens are all new and are washed thoroughly and inspected by me. I would not tolerate anything less than 5* quality bedding or anything else in my unit. Every mattress is new and high quality and has never been an issue. I've had several guests saying they're better than home! The only thing I can put it down to is we all get used to our own beds at home and sometimes find it hard to adjust when we travel. I’m glad you still managed to enjoy the beach and the pool as you said in your e-mail and that you will visit again and hopefully next time give 5*. Kind regards Charli

Zebra Condo - Beautiful Pool, Beach & Condo

The condo was exactly as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed the beautiful pool and non drive part of the beach. The TV channels and WIFI was exceptional. No issues. Everything we needed was there, and all modern appliances. The one drawback was the construction equipment on the grounds as they are are doing renovations to some units. No work was done during the weekend and on the weekday when work resumed, the noise was minimal. The good thing was that we were there for the pool and beach and the construction didn't interfere with that experience. Hated to leave. We would definitely go back to Charli's condo

This beautiful condo with ithe great amenities and relaxing vibe set the tone for our recent getaway. There was plenty to enjoy at the complex or on the beach. Right outside the front door holds a view of every sunrise, don't miss it! Our rental process was seamless, thank you Charli! We will be back.

A real great place and an amazing owner.

The condo is clean, fully equip and nicely decorated. Just by the Beach with a really nice pool area. Even if we had to go through a situation (major renovation /construction during our stay, wich affected our stay really badly) I would totally recommend it, when the repairs are done on the proprety. Plus, the owner was really available and did everything possible to make our stay more enjoyable or accomodate us. The property is located in a perfect area, far enough of the action, but close enough of everything at the same time. Even if we did'nt had the peace of mind and the rest we needed because of the situation, I can't give anyhting else than 5 stars. Hope to return once the renovation are completed. Really family friendly place.

Exceptional

I would have given Charli and her beautiful home 10 stars if that would have been possible. We have rented in 4 different complexes in New Smyrna; this one was by far the most exceptional. It is well equipped and furnished elegantly. Even the second bedroom has an amazing view! I hope Charli doesn't mind that I am "borrowing" some decorating ideas. Charli is a delight. We had a couple of questions, and even though she was traveling, she responded promptly. I have not had the pleasure of meeting her, however, I feel I know her. The entire rental process, from booking to departure, was quite easy. There was construction going on during our stay, however that is to be expected at some point in time. Charli was very upfront about what we might encounter before we rented, which we appreciated. We just handled the situation as if it was at our own home. The construction crew was great. The area was cleaned every night before they left. I highly recommend renting this unit. You will not be disappointed.

Nice, clean condo unit.

I arrived with my wife and daughter on January 4, 2016 for a 1 week stay. We were familiar with that area of New Smyrna and felt comfortable going there. The condo was as advertised and there were no surprises. It was clean and neat and that was the most important thing to us. We never met Charli, but had no problem communicating via email. The only downside was some construction going on next door, which was scheduled maintenance; very common with an oceanfront condo. It is located on the second floor, but there is an elevator right next to the stairs which came in handy with loads of luggage. It was very quiet and peaceful and conveniently located. We would come back again.

Exceeded all and every expectation!

I was in a panic to find accommodations for the week of Thanksgiving 2015. Charli's condo caught my eye immediately as I was looking at the rentals in the area. What you see in the photographs is exactly what you are receiving and more. The condo is extremely well equipped, immaculate and very comfortable. It is in a great location in New Smyrna, Beach and that it is located on the no-drive beach is wonderful for children and all ages. Don't stay anywhere else.

My sister and I had planned a "girls getaway". On short notice, I found Charli's condo on line after searching numerous websites. This was one of the best decisions I've made as far as a somewhere to stay. The condo was beautifully appointed with all items needed for a stay at the beach. My sister has already stated when we go to the beach this is the place she would like to stay. Charli has made a vacation condo feel like "home".

Upscale stay at affordable price

Charli has provided a beautiful, clean, comfortable upscale home at affordable rates. Kitchen very well stocked just like being in our own home. We didn't want for anything! She should be proud of what she has built in the way of a home.

I had a vision & achieved my goal of elegance & comfort at my favorite beach! I was tired of renting dated, poorly maintained condos. It's very important for me to be right on the beach, it's literally on my doorstep! I'm naming this my 'zebra' condo following my theme ''elephant condo' you can view on VRBO 788234 (pet friendly). This resort offers a great atmosphere, close enough for action, far away enough for peace, tranquility and serenity! After a renovation I am very excited with the outcome! I hope you love it just as much as we do! I'm meticulous & pay close attention to detail. I own & manage the property myself & have many years experience in the travel & tourism industry, homemaking & hospitality! I'm always available if needed. While you are here this is your home! New Smyrna Beach is a beautiful island community with something for everyone. Thirty golf courses nearby. It's just one hour from Orlando & Central Florida attractions, Disney, Universal etc. Twenty minutes to Daytona International Speedway. Beautiful St. Augustine is approx two hours away. Day trips are easy, for example Kennedy Space Center. Then return to this lovely beach town & enjoy a late dinner or a long walk on the beach to unwind from the day. Walking distance to grocery store and shopping. Also wonderful dining like So Napa Restaurant, A Touch of Italy, Chase's Lounge on the beach and my kids favorite place S'mores Ice Cream & Coffee Shop! Or enjoy a Bob Ross art painting workshop close by.
