Fresh, clean, convenient, modern, luxury fixtures, comfortable, and suited to your needs. Built and operated by longtime islanders, and the preferred accommodations of Matia Kitchen, you're in good hands!
This listing is for the second and third floor of a 3 story unit. the middle floor has an open kitchen, living room and powder room. There are two identical bedrooms on the top floor featuring their own private bathroom / showers.
This building has 5 suites. The ground level bedroom, kitchenette, private bathroom / shower is available fore rent separately and has its' own entrance from this rental.
If you have a larger group and would like to rent all 3 stories together see our listing for unit #3 or inquire about combining the separate rentals.
Unit #1 and #4 do have permanent residents. Unit #5 is on the real estate market.

He came up through the Seattle restaurant scene hey day spending 7 years with Tom Douglas Restaurants during its period of peak growth.
In 2015 Drew moved to Orcas Island in order to connect with a small agrarian community and redefine his passion for local community food systems.
After several years of setting roots on Orcas, Drew started Matia Dinner Series, a pop up dining and catering business with Avery Adams a native islander.
With humble beginnings, Matia Kitchen is now on the national fine dining scene with two James Beard nominations and a New York Times 50 best mention.
With over 20 years of restaurant experience, Drew is excited to develop his hospitality background into lodging and package experiences.
Sarah grew up on Lopez Island, so calling her a local is an understatement. She’s leaned into the beauty and diversity of the San Juan Archipelago calling Orcas her home for over 20 years.
Service and hospitality are core elements to her naturally creative personality. She shines brightest while working with others which can be seen through her work on her property, at MATIA, with Orcas Island Film Festival and the Suites.
Her greatest accomplishment is being a mother and looks forward to seeing what new adventures lie ahead.
