Peter Bay is located along the north shore between Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay and is known for its exclusive, luxury villas. Surrounded by the National Park, Peter Bay offers seclusion along with natural beauty and exquisite ocean views. Guests enjoy private access to Peter Bay Beach where powdery white sand and vibrant marine life can be found.

Villa Carlota boasts breathtaking views of Cinnamon, Maho and Trunk Bays. In the distance, Tortola and Jost Van Dyke can be seen. From the Villa Carlota infinity pool, the turquoise sea and pool appear to come together within this tropical setting.

Sunsets from the villa are spectacular displays of color seen from the villa’s multiple verandas, balconies and patio. A perfect ending to a beautiful day in paradise.

Villa Carlotta was a beautiful property with a great view. It was very clean and fully stocked to host our family for a week. The location of the property was great - it was close to amazing beaches, trails and not too far from Cruz Bay.

Villa Carlota is gorgeous and has every amenity you could think of. The pool is insanely gorgeous overlooking the Caribbean sea. The home is impeccable and everything is included and available. Each room was luxurious and comfortable. We had our family of seven and everyone was absolutely in awe of all the amenities. Mina was always available and was very communicative throughout all of our stay for any questions that had about what which beaches to spend the day at & restaurants to go to.

Great location/view and very nice accommodations.

The caretaker was helpful and the place was clean and well appointed. The location is tough to beat with sweeping views and access to the private Peter’s bay beach.

Beautiful house on the hill

This is a gorgeous property and a great location. About 15 minute drive to Cruz Bay and 15 minutes within most of the beaches! Property manager is great and very responsive. We had 10 people staying in everyone fit comfortably. You can see about four or five beaches from this location it’s just stunning.

5 Couples in Paradise!

We have stayed in 2 other villas in Peter Bay. This one has the best views and breezes! We saw sunrise and sunset with 180 degree views. It’s a small thing…but the kitchen needs a new supply of spatulas and serving spoons. And knives should be sharpened. Those are such little things. This Villa is so special. It would be my first choice on our next visit!

Breathtaking views

We have been coming to St. John for over 22 years. This was for my 50th birthday celebration. The villa did not disappoint, and we have stayed at a lot of different villas over the years. The listing is very accurate. We had a few minor issues that were addressed right away. We all had plenty of room to spread out. The outside bar area was huge hit with our group. The views were some of the best I've ever seen on island. If you have a big group this is the villa for you.

Excellent luxurious home.

Clean luxurious home with modern appliances. Great floor plan for our large 5 couples group. There were several electrical issues that were fixed mid stay and the ice dispenser in the kitchen didn’t work. I thawed and cleaned the ice container in the freezer on day 2 and it worked fine. Great place and the property manager was responsive to the repair requests. Everything was fixed. We highly recommend this home it’s a great location and was an excellent home luxurious beyond our expectations. Fantastic place

Fantastic & Relaxing week !

Incredible views, superb architecture and beautiful mahogany woodwork. Excellent location and pretty much everything you could possibly need. Only one problem that couldn’t be resolved was a shower in the beautiful king room on the pool. The previous guest had broken the shower and they were unable to fix it during our stay. The couple staying in that room had to walk up the driveway to the guesthouse extra bath to shower the entire stay but all of our other rooms were beautiful and everything else worked well. Unfortunately Jan that would normally meet us had to return to the states with an illness and may never have been aware of this problem. We wish her well and hope she’s feeling better. Would definitely recommend the house to anyone visiting StJohn !!

Dream Vacation Fulfilled!

I had always dreamed of taking the entire family on a special getaway and finally had a chance to do it at the Villa Carlota in St John. Our family had an incredible time in St. John and found Villa Carlota to be an amazing place with breathtaking 180-degree views of the National Park bays and surrounding Islands. It was only a short car ride to some of the world's most beautiful beaches and great restaurants. There was plenty of room for our family of 9 to spread out in private luxurious spaces, and also great central locations to gather under the outside Veranda and the grand Kitchen / living space. The main level bedroom was ideal for my husband and myself because he does have some mobility limitations. The beautiful infinity pool was a family favorite and much larger than we envisioned from the pictures. The property manager, Luciah, was very responsive to our needs and even ran to the store to pick up a shower chair for my husband! Thank you to the owners of Villa Carlota for sharing this amazing place and bringing my "dream vacation" to a reality.

A Slice of Beach Heaven!

Villa Carlota is stunning in view and villa. The main villa is spacious with a large common area that opens to the pool, deck and outdoor eating area. The master bedroom is gorgeous and very spacious with walk in closet. A cozy full size bed on the 3rd floor bedroom. Great separation with 2 more beautiful king & Queen bedrooms across the main villa. And even more privacy with the one bedroom cottage behind the main villa that has its own kitchen. The villa was spotless when we arrived and stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer tablets. laundry detergent, shampoo, soap and more. The owner is very responsive and thoughtful. The assistant so sweet and kind. The property manager extremely helpful and gracious. These all extremely wonderful people. I wish I could return every year! Oh, and don't forget the beach is a 5min drive away....breathtaking!

Unmatched View!!! A+++ 5 Stars!

Not much more can be said other than, INCREDIBLE!!! My family and I stayed at The Villa Carlotta in January 2017. Where to start, private, tranquil maybe a float in the clouds? The views from the patio as if you're floating in the clouds while gazing down on Trunk, Cinnamon and Maho beaches, breath taking. Just further in view you can see the BVI's. The best part about this all, you get this view from an incredible home that is clearly built with opulence but even more so possess an incredible flow and an at home feel. The kitchen is top notch and can handle everything you throw at it. Grills are also there if you need them, 2 grills...come on, 2!?! The rooms are well spaced and balanced and the beds are extremely comfortable. This is a bit deep but, the building materials, stones, seashell accents, granite counter tops, hand carved wood all add character and charm to the home. The pool is perfect in the day and the infinity side adds a nice touch giving it that glass like finish, until someone cannonballs (safely)! lounging at the villa or taking a short walk down to the beach, it's surely the only option we'll consider when going back. Thank you so much for allowing my family and I an unforgettable time! We'll be back next year!

Magnificent Villa on St. John

Our family enjoyed a recent vacation at the beautiful Villa Carlota on St. John. The villa was absolutely incredible! We loved the private, peaceful setting. Villa Carlota is perched high on top of Upper Peter Bay with the most magnificent view over St. John's North Shore beaches. We enjoyed our morning coffee while gazing out over the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. The villa is located only a short 2-3 minute drive....down the hill....to a gorgeous white sand beach at Peter Bay. Villa Carlota is also conveniently located close to all of the famous North Shore beaches. However, after a beach visit in the morning, we often returned to the villa to enjoy an afternoon swim in the large infinity pool. Villa Carlota has been very well maintained, and the owner's impeccable attention to detail is evident throughout the villa. Inside you will find beautiful furnishings, comfy beds and stunning bathrooms. Onsite management was outstanding. The property manager met us upon arrival at the ferry dock. He was quite knowledgeable about the island, and always available to answer questions. Several exceptionally good restaurants, cute shoppes and a large grocery are located 15 minutes away from the villa in Cruz Bay. Additionally, Coral Bay is a short drive where there are more restaurants and a few shoppes. Our family has been very fortunate to stay in many beautiful villas throughout Europe and the Caribbean. However, Villa Carlota is our new "all time favorite" villa.

It is the only Villa with views to all 7 white sand beaches on the North Shore. Maho Bay to Cruz Bay, on balconies, veranda or in the pool you can watch the sunrise over Maho Bay all day long until you see the beautiful sunset in Cruz Bay.
