The Dreamcatcher Cabin is an owner designed and 2025 custom built log cabin. Rustic meets chic in this thoughtfully designed and decorated cabin. The Dreamcatcher Cabin offers 2300 SQFT of luxury accommodations that few short terms rentals can compete with. The soaring wood ceilings, craftsman beams, wide plank wood floors and custom staircase greets you with a warm welcome as you enter the front door leading you to an open concept kitchen with island, dining area, and cozy family room with gas fireplace. This area offers great opportunity for friends and family gatherings and entertainment areas.

The kitchen is a dream to cook in offering custom built (by a local cabinet maker) farmhouse white oak cabinets with roll out drawers and decorative open shelves. Frigidaire appliances with side by side refrigerator, flat top stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave, granite counters, farmhouse sink, and a live edge center island offering seating up to three comfortably. It is a pleasure to cook in this kitchen. Calling all chefs ~ The kitchen is fully stocked with bakeware, dinnerware, glassware, pot & pans, silverware, large utensils, mixing bowls etc. Small appliances to include a toaster, blender, mixer, and a Keurig. There is an abundance of lighting in the kitchen as well.

A cozy dining table seats up to four in the open dining area.

Open to the kitchen and dining area is the family room with lots of windows providing natural light, a slider to the deck, a gas fireplace, and open to the staircase and cozy loft above. The family room is furnished with a recliner and reclining sofa. High speed WIFI is provided by XFINITY at 1200 MBPS and all 4 TV’S are smart TVs with Live TV and streaming apps such as Netflix, HULU, Paramount, Prime TV, etc…you MUST use your own login and passwords to access the apps. I do NOT provide mine. The fireplace is the focal point of the room and a cozy spot to enjoy cocktails by the fire on chilly evenings or coffee by the fire on brisk mornings. Note the property has no carpet and the wide plank solid white oak wood floors with knots throughout were crafted in a local mill and add warmth and richness to the home. The wide, open, wood staircase is another beautiful focal point of the home.

In the rear of the main level you will find the master suite with a plush king size bed, TV, walk in closet, and a bath with double vanities, a tile shower unit and a all in one washer and dryer.

As you make your way up the open staircase, to your right is a cozy loft area with a reclining loveseat and a chair. The loft is open to the family room below. This is a perfect spot for reading. There is also a second master suite on the upper level with a plush king size bed, TV, desk for working remotely, and walk in closet. A full bath with double vanities and a tile tub/shower is also on this level.

Head to the lower level and "The Amarillo by morning" lounge is just a show stopper! Designed to impress in Texas style. There are hints of the wild west throughout this level. Another family room with a sofa, TV, electric fireplace. There is a mini pool table. Also kitchenette with sink, microwave, and fridge. Another high top table for two. There is third bedroom suite with a plush queen size bed and closet. There is a full bath on this level also with a single vanity and tile tub/shower unit.

Lets talk about the exterior entertainment areas - a covered porch and a soaring covered deck off the main level family room lead to EXQUISITE views in all directions! The porch and deck have rockers and seating for six at the table. Off the lower level is a patio with seating for another four and a four person hot tub (open year round) and a gas grill - the pool gates are locked at all times and the pool/spa is only open from June 1- Sept 1. From the patio, there is a flagstone walk leading to the fire pit. There is also of beautiful landscaping surrounding the cabin. There is plenty of backyard for your favorite outdoor game.

The paved drive and large parking area is designated guest parking.

This home is furnished with quality bedding & linens, metal beds, antique dressers, industrial carts and end tables, barnwood furniture, comfy sofas and recliners, plush beds, bar stools, farmhouse dining tables, soft rugs, throw pillows, cozy blankets, accent lamps BUT the décor is over the top. Hand picked antiques, vintage pieces, local artwork of the area, farmhouse flair, patriotic accent pieces, BOHO inspiration, rustic mountain accents, Texas inspirations, and some of my favorite quotes from movies and songs. It all comes together perfectly at the Dreamcatcher Cabin – your luxury getaway! No detail was spared in the construction of this home. Blinds have been installed for privacy. There are outdoor ring cameras - one on the front porch capturing the front door, porch, and sidewalk and one on the basement exterior wall next to the door capturing the hot tub, patio, basement doors, and pool/spa.
