This Vrbo home in Puerto Vallarta was truly magnificent. Perched dramatically on the rocks overlooking a small, secluded beach, it felt both luxurious and serene. The sound of the surf was a constant, soothing backdrop, and the infinity pool—overlooking the ocean—was absolutely stunning. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down and feel grateful to be there.The three suites were wonderful—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Each was tastefully decorated with thoughtfully chosen art and sculpture that gave the home a refined yet welcoming feel. Nothing felt overdone; instead, it struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it easy to relax and feel at home.What truly elevated the stay was the staff. The house manager was incredibly helpful, assisting with hiring cars and offering excellent local suggestions. The cook prepared delicious breakfasts every morning, which was such a treat, and the housekeeper did a fantastic job keeping everything immaculate. Everyone was warm, friendly, and professional. Overall, this home delivered an exceptional experience, and we would return without hesitation.

My mood turned from good to great as soon as I walked into the door of this beautiful house. Perfect for a family of four and not too big to make you feel like you're paying for more than you need. I loved being right on the beach with a view of both the downtown pier to the north and Los Arcos to the south. Eric is a great host and we appreciated everything he and his staff did to make our stay perfect. The 15 minute walk along the beach to the Zona Romantica is a major benefit versus having to take a cab to get to town. I want to stay every time i visit PV now. Thank you!

I can't say enough GREAT things about our stay here! I have told countless people to come and we plan to come back too. Eric, the house manager is exceptional. He arranged everything from transportation, massages, recommendations, setting the menu, daily homemade margaritas and so much more!!! Mirella and Alma were outstanding! The food they made was better than any food we tasted outside of the house! Having someone make us breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks was such a treat and ever better than ordering at a restaurant or hotel. They were full of smiles and service. Our rooms, bathrooms and the whole property was always perfect! The beds were comfortable, the property just amazing! The pool was a perfect temp, it felt like a hot tub and a pool all together. The little beach next door was super nice to have, it was mostly private, a few people each day and a few more on the weekends but nothing like big beaches. Also, a cute little bar next door to our place, which we did go once just to say we went bc the view was cool!

Birthday celebration at Casa Maria Elena

The check in process was very easy. Staff greeted us when we arrived. The food was delicious and the property is beautiful with a great swimmable beach located just under the house. I have stayed in Puerto Vallarta at a few different villas over the years. While this one was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating I felt they invaded our privacy at times and overstayed their welcome. It made it feel at times as though we had 8 people on vacation instead of 3. Eric was lovely at providing us itinerary ideas as well as lining up a boat but I found he was almost too comfortable staying in our space and there was another gentleman who came to eat breakfast and coffee in our kitchen every morning and stayed for hours. It made it really hard to relax and be comfortable and private with so many people around. I have never experienced this at any other villa in Mexico. I also prefer the house manager to give itemized bills so we know exactly what we are paying for…the price seemed to shift quite a bit. There was so much food stored in the fridge it was hard to even use and much of it was being held there to go to other villas. On top of that, other people were drinking alcohol we paid for. Other than feeling a bit invaded, the trip was fantastic and the staff provided us with all we needed and the property itself is lovely.

We had a wonderful time at this Home in Puerto Vallarta. The property was clean, well-appointed, and exactly as described. The views were stunning—especially at sunset—and the location was perfect: on the beach, restaurants close by and local attractions. The host-Eric was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Best home in Puerto Vallarta

The home is beach front, with breathtaking views from every room. The staff is amazing, and the chef prepares fresh delicious meals everyday. You feel absolutely pampered during your stay. Eric the property manager can set up just about anything for you, from massages, fresh flowers and personal chefs for special occasions. This was our second stay here and will return year after year!

Beautiful Home and Great Staff!

This is a really beautiful home with a great layout. The location is ideal, since you are away from the busy, noisy city but close enough for a quick and inexpensive Uber ride to town. Here is our summary of pros and cons:Pros:1. A stunningly, beautiful house2. Very nice, attentive and professional staff.3. Beach front, on a less populated beach4. Immaculately clean5. Morelos really is a great chef! 6. The house has a very private and secluded feel7. They offer grocery shopping service for a very reasonable charge.Cons:1. We stayed in December and the patio didn’t get sun until after 4:00 pm due to it being blocked by taller buildings behind the house2. The waves can be noisy! For some, the ocean sounds are a plus but if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs3. The price includes preparation of lunch or breakfast each day (excluding groceries) but this didn’t work for our group so we passed on this. We did have one dinner prepared which was an extra charge (200 for 4 plus groceries) even with no other meals prepared. It was a great dinner, so no complaints, but since we skipped having 4 other included meals prepared it would have been nice if they reduced the cost of the one dinner. 4. We had them buy groceries for us but never received a receipt (only a text with the amount due). With other rentals in PV, we’ve always been presented with a receipt.5. The kitchen was stocked with out groceries plus a lot of

Paradise in Puerto Vallarta

Hard to find anything to complain about. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The entire backside of the house opens up to the ocean and overlooks a small beach. You can lie in bed in all three bedrooms, with the back windows/walls open and look out at the ocean. Eric, the property manager is great, and will get you anything you need. He arranged a whale watching trip and massages for us. Mirella, the cook, will prepare whatever you want for breakfast and lunch. Without exception our meals were wonderful and plentiful. There was little need to go out for dinner, except for the entertainment value of seeing Puerto Vallarta. Alma keeps the house clean, washes clothes and keeps you well stocked with towels. The small pool and gazebo In the back of the house are great places to “chill” as well as to spot an occasional whale. If you are looking for a relaxing place to vacation and to be pampered, this is it. Casa Maria Elena deserves all of those 5 star ratings it has received. I highly recommend it.

PV at it's best!

We had a great stay in PV at Casa Maria Elena! The place is exactly as described and shown in the photos only better since you are there in person. The views of the ocean and sky change on the hour and you are only steps from a couple of safe and clean swimming beaches. There is a public beach directly under the casa so you will see the public hanging out there pretty much full time. If you are there on a holiday, expect the beach to be busy with vendors bringing shrimp, oysters, drinks, cotton candy - you name it. It is entertaining for sure. Having said that, the public was great and consisted primarily of locals and families who were super well behaved and just there for the day to enjoy the surf and sun. On several occasions there were couples celebrating engagements or anniversaries and/or doing social media posting. So it is a busy spot but we liked the activity and felt safe the entire time. The location is a short walk up the path to the Romantica district beaches and shops. The property manager, Eric, is totally on top of whatever you need during your stay. They have the food down to a science and can make you whatever you desire. Same with outside services, Eric can set you up with great drivers and boat captains for small boats or large. We went the small route and ended up saving a lot of money and just had an outstanding time. Overall, I would say that I would give it my highest rating for a PV adventure and certainly will be coming back in the future.

Simply AMAZING!

The property is stunning! Very well taken care of, well equipped and boasts the absolute best, unobstructed view to the ocean from all of the rooms. Michael the host was very responsive and Eric, Alma and Mireya with the property management company were great to work with and incredibly helpful. We were there celebrating my husband's 45th birthday and it was a perfect stay. I cannot say enough good things about the house, amenities and service. 10 out of 10 recommended. We're already talking about our next visit back!

wonderful stay

we very much enjoyed our week at casa maria elena. the house is lovely and well appointed & stocked. eric, mireilla, and alma were of constant and warm welcome, and they arranged everything from transport to groceries, delicious meals, house cleaning, and laundry. we took morning dips in the water before the beach filled up; and it was fun to watch the families spend the day on the coast. the cove looks rocky, but it is sheltered and clean and great for just bobbing. looking forward to a return visit during whal season.

DO believe the hype

This property almost sounded too good to be true from the reviews and we were actually a little nervous about that! But, it was in fact as good as it sounds and then some. As others have said, the location on the beach cannot be beat and Mirella's food is absolutely amazing. The pictures on this page do not do the house justice. Eric is the best property manager I've ever met and a really great guy. This is a great place to relax and unwind and eat some really amazing food while you're at it.

Breathtaking

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Most notably, however, was the staff, Alma and Mirella, who were attentive, pleasant and so, so kind. Eric, who manages the home, was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond on more than one occasion to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Outside of being highly knowledgeable, Eric genuinely cares about making the experience perfectly tailored to your needs, and his passion for hospitality is evident. Everything was exceptional and the villa was even more beautiful than expected!

Daily maid and food services offered:

Daily maid service and preparation of breakfast and/or lunch are included with the rental, we just ask that renters pay the cost of food and alcohol during their stay. For a reasonable fee, our Property Manager, Eric, will pick up any requested items for the kitchen or bar prior to your arrival or during your stay, as well as pick up from and to the airport, and can provide car service around town or arrange for reservations for day trips, such as: fishing; jungle tours (ATV and/or zip line); golf; whale watching; snorkeling; surfing; jet ski rentals; diving; etc... Eric, will keep a tab of these additional expenses and present you with a final bill to be paid prior to your departure. He will explain the services he offers, along with fees and answer any other questions you may have about the property.

Our cook, Mirella (pronounced MEER-EH-YA) regularly prepares breakfast and lunch, and she will prepare dinners for an extra fee as well. A typical breakfast includes fresh coffee, squeezed OJ, a fruit plate, toast, eggs and bacon. Lunch usually includes fresh juice, salsa, guacamole, fried taquitos. She has menu of meal options for breakfast and lunch - typically traditional Mexican - that she will show you on your first day, so you can request other options for the following day(s). For an additional fee, she will also prepare items from her dinner menu. She is an amazing cook. If you request specific meals the day before, she will go to the market in the morning before her arrival to get the freshest seafood and produce.
