New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Ocean Grove F-6 is a beautiful, oceanfront condo located in Pine Knoll Shores' quiet and comfortable Beacon's Reach. The living room boasts a large, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, while the kitchen features all major and small appliances. Additional amenities include a full-size washer/dryer, and free WiFi.

The primary bedroom features a TV, a ceiling fan, and a private full bathroom with a stall shower. Two of the three guest rooms have their own TV as well. You'll also have access to the outdoor pool at Ocean Grove and the tennis courts at Beacon's Reach.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is no phone inside the condo.
No smoking permitted.
There is newly upgraded (2023) flooring and an oceanview deck.
Blackout curtains have been added to the primary bedroom.

The location was great. The views of the ocean was amazing!!!! The parking was the only down fall. Two parking spots offered. We actually had to park vehicles at the Vacasa’s office.

Condo needs work

Location is great! Beds were comfy BUT unit needs work. Bathrooms were not cleaned, washer died mid-week, oven does not hold temperature, sliding glass door on top floor comes off the track and very difficult to maneuver. Bathroom fixtures were rusting. Internet is possible only in the bedroom with the router. Cable tv was intermittent. We kept having to unplug it. Outside water hoses did not work. Very Disappointed.

Maritime Living

This is a spacious unit nestled in a mature Maritime forest. The ocean views were beautiful. Our party of 6 adults had plenty of room to spread. Group gatherings and meals were sometimes cramped. It was nice having indoor and outdoor eating options. If your party likes to cook or eats in a lot, be advised: an elevator (not available to renters) has transformed most of the kitchen into a single person zone. The entrance and exit lane is narrow. Also, if your party has physical issues, there are lots of stairs, indoors and outdoors. The walkways through the lovely forest have many steps, and level changes. We could not use our beach cart to reach the sand. Tip: If you use the helpful beach canopy, don't unzip the bag to the end of the zipper. The beach environment makes the zipper hard to start when closing. Soap rubbed on the teeth and zipper pull helped.

F6 Ocean Grove was terrible

We have been renting units at Ocean Grove and Oean Grove West for over 30 years and this was the worst unit we have ever rented. Here is a brief non exhaustive list of what was wrong: 1. air conditioning did not work properly especially in the master suite 2. rear door to lower deck did not open 3. sliding glass doors in living room and master are old and difficult to open and close 4. broken chair in living room (found it that way) 5. no shades or curtains in living room 6. shades broken in master suite 7. rust in shower in lower level 8. shower door in basement did not work when we arrived 9. unit is poorly equipped with dishes, cookware, glasses compared with other units we have rented in the past. 10. fan controls in master do not work Overall I would never recommend this unit to anyone. We simultaneously rented another unit in Ocean Grove West for my mother in law and other family and it was excellent as well as being cheaper.

Outdated condo in Beautiful Location

This condo is located on a beautiful and uncrowded beach that is easy to access. Unfortunately, this particular unit was a huge disappointment for us due to the following issues: -lacked many basic cooking utensils such as cutting board, bottle opener, and scissors and a large enough trash can for daily use for 8 people. - the unit had an elevator (not used by guests) which severely limited space in the primary bathroom and most importantly the kitchen. It was difficult for more than one person to work in the kitchen. While the kitchen cabinets and appliances were updated the layout was awful . - The beds and bedroom furniture was comfortable and the carpet in primary bedroom was replaced with “hardwood” flooring, but overall the unit needs to be updated. There were splintery worn boards on the deck, outdoor hoses that were too rusted to function, doors that were rusted and difficult to open, stained carpet and worn living room chairs and a washer dryer on its last legs. The pool closest to us was small and poorly maintained. The rental agency was helpful in terms of checking in. We got mixed messages about check out but that worked out ok. The unit was cleaned as well as was possible for the condition of unit. Our extended family rented 3 other units in this complex at the same time and the difference was extraordinary in terms of furnishings and comfort.
