Pintoresca cabaña en St. Simons Island 410 pies del acceso público a la playa, de fácil acceso al caminar a través de un patio que se une a la cabaña (como también somos dueños de esta propiedad). Gran porche que está sombreado por un enorme roble viejo en el patio delantero. Cottage tiene Wi-fi, lavadora y secadora, televisión por cable. 2 dormitorios, 1 baño, el principal tiene cama queen, el segundo dormitorio tiene cama matrimonial y la sala de estar tiene futón que deja salir a la reina.

Our family of four had a wonderful week long stay. Perfect location, walking distance to the beach and downtown shops/ fishing pier. The house has all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great location

Great location within walking distance for everything we wanted to see. Great beach access. House is older but very clean and well stocked with dishes etc. Loved our stay.

Quaint beach house

Enjoyed staying here, short 2 minute walk to beach. Lots of good restaurants within 5-10 minute drive!

Great Little House

Great little house with easy access to the beach. We stayed as a family of 3 with a little kid. The house was clean and had everything we needed. You really can't beat the location.

Perfect little place

We really enjoyed our weekend. We had zero issues with the property and loved the location… right at the beach access and a short walk to town. Barely even noticed it was a duplex, the neighbors barely made a sound and the weather turned out perfect! Hope to rent this place again real soon!

Perfect!!!

This property is perfect for a family. We have 4 kids and the short walk to the beach was so convenient. It's very easy to walk back and forth from the beach and the house. The beach was so beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Great Getaway

Beautiful house with a fun layout. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and access to a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and multiple bedrooms. While everything was great, you should watch out for fire ant hills and use crocs or flip flops when outside. Had a great time at frat beach!

Fall Break 2024

We had a great stay at this property. We had everything we need to enjoy our vacation. The location is right around the corner from the beach entrance and is super easy to get back to for lunch or a midday nap. Since this is a one story unit you don’t have to worry about lugging all of your things up tons of stairs, which I love. Definitely within walking distance to restaurants and night life. The beach area was not crowded and the unit was very clean.

Cottage location was great for proximity to beach and village. Cable TV is basic service. The only complaint would be next door renters, (same cottage, common wall) were loud and obnoxious, banging on the walls, wrestling, doing laundry, yelling, singing, etc. till 2AM or later, three nights in a row. So much for no parties. Would return only if no one was next door.

It was too noisy with cars driving by all hours of the night. Checked out a day early to go back home. Miss my own bed. Killed 3 roach bugs but other than that it was nice to walk to the beach without driving and all the dishes and cookware you would need to cook with if you wanted. It was our first trip to St. Simons island but sadly I don’t think I’ll ever come back.

Got what we signed up for

We didn't have a lot of money but needed to be close to where other family were staying for a reunion - which happened to be on the beach. This property is a good deal. It isn't luxury but it isn't at all dirty or lacking in basic amenities. It suited us well: a family of 6 on a tight budget. Three stars on accuracy of listing because the property only *technically* sleeps six. The sofa bed frame and mattress made such a contorted bed that two of my children opted to lay on the cushions on the floor. There were only four chairs at the dining table as well. These conditions didn't ruin our experience.

Thank you so much for the review. The bench to the left when you walk in the door goes with the table. The table has 4 chairs and a bench, but I did not like the way it had to be arranged to use the bench, so I put the bench on the wall to the left as you walked in the door. I am so sorry for any inconvenience. I agree those sofa beds are horrible. I would much rather sleep on the floor. Thank you for the review.

Amazing spot!

Ruthie was an amazing host and her property was perfect for our little “babymoon” getaway before our first baby comes early June. We can’t wait to visit again some day!
