The Space:

This beachfront vacation rental has a contemporary dining and living area equipped with comfortable and inviting furnishings for more relaxation and comfort, a well-equipped gourmet kitchen perfect for entertaining, a full-size washer/dryer, and an enclosed private balcony with a convenient outdoor dining area overlooking the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.



The condo amenities include a community outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, hot tub, children's pool, fitness room, tennis and basketball courts, grill area, private boardwalk, and beach chair and umbrella rentals available for a seasonal fee.

With a prime location steps away from the beach, beachgoers will fall in love the moment they step inside this vacation rental. Golfers, pack your clubs and hit the links at the nearby Craft Farms and Peninsula golf courses! Pelican Pointe #1002 is situated moments away from the sugar-white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, so don't hesitate to pack your sunscreen and shades and dig your toes in the warm sand. Downtown Orange Beach is one and a half miles away and it offers visitors a plethora of dining options. Adventure Island is half a mile away and features go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag, kiddie rides, and erupting volcano replica that comes alive with a powerful and memorable show; you can even feel the vibrations and feel the steam.

This condo allows monthly reservations.

The condo has a seven-night minimum in season, must be Saturday to Saturday, Memorial Day through Labor Day.



Parking at Pelican Pointe is limited to 2 vehicles per unit. Passes must be purchased on site upon arrival through the security guard tower located as you enter the complex. Parking Passes are $50.00/each. All forms of payment acceptable.A guard will be available at the shack between the hours of 8 am until midnight during the busy season and 4 pm to midnight in the off season. Spring break get away for the family

The perfect condo!

We loved staying in here! There was plenty of space for 3 adults and 5 children to relax and enjoy our vacation. Everyone had comfortable bed space and we didn’t even have to use the pull-out sofa! There is also plenty of comfortable seating in the living space! We will definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay

Very clean when we arrived considering the sand/beach right outside. Nice washer and drier. Perfect space for our crew. Comfortable. Loved the ocean view from balcony. Would definitely recommend.

Great place. Clean. Everything as stated. ONLY complaint is the “guest” bathroom shower water was scalding hot and would not adjust any cooler. 9 of us shared the other shower, but we made it work.

A week to Remember

This property had an amazing view with sea life present everyday! We seen dolphins at least twice daily sometimes more. It was very spacious and clean! This place had a very homey atmosphere and plenty of storage space

Property made the bad weather not so bad

3 days of rain & wind kept us inside quite a bit. The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was adequate for our family of 5. WIFI was not strong in secondary bedrooms. The large balcony was excellent.

Only down side is I was promised a parking pass and I had to buy one. And I also only got one key. And the house keeper came at 9:50am like our checkout is at 10am.

Way smaller! Online parking pass was 35.00 but we had to pay 50.00 each! Guard shack was rude! So many rules! Stay away from this place! Door wouldn’t lock and couldn’t get any help w that! Was not fully stocked!!!!

Summer vacation

I was not provided with a parking pass and had to purchase in addition to my payment. Was also not told that there was a gate and did not have the access code until day after my arrival. There was a broken cabinet door and not enough pots/pans to cook with. Everything else was nice. Loved the big balcony porch.

Beautiful area, pleasing condo

We were very pleased with the condo overall. It was clean with comfortable beds & furnishings. The patio is fabulous. The only thing better out there would be a fan. Our issue was not with the on-site staff or property manager but the process to get maintenance. I feel Vacasa is doing a disservice to owners as we quickly notified of a leak from above & the on site property manager was not notified until the following day. This could’ve ended badly. I hope the owner can resolve for their benefit because this is a lovely vacation spot! Thank you!!!

Had to go pick up key from a reality group! No WiFi!

I didn’t like that there was no key pad! Had to make sure we had a key every time we left! We couldn’t get WiFi and waited for 2 days for someone to come fix it! My husband spend 2 days in the room waiting! He missed time with the granddaughter and great grandkids to be in the room to let them in! Don’t think I’ll stay there again!

Martha - I am so sorry that you experienced the issues with the WIFI that you did. That is very disappointing to hear. This particular condo complex does not allow for keyless locks (we've tried getting approval to put them on there before and was told the HOA would not approve it). We will follow up to make sure the WIFI is updated and improved so no one else is spent waiting in the condo for someone to come and address their problems with it. Thank you for bringing all of this to our attention.

Just a few notches under Excellent

Except for a few glitches, our time in Orange Beach was excellent. Everyone we dealt with via phone or text was easily accessible, friendly and helpful. The security guard was equally helpful and courteous. 3 glitches: the refrigerator is malfunctioning. Took 4ever to cool down, then leaked all over the kitchen floor. I had to do a quick repair to the toilet to keep it from running. And I didn't get the email with the proper entrance code until after check-in time, and even with it, it was way too complicated. But overall, it was terrific.

Good time, good place..

When we arrived to room the Key box only had one key and NO parking passes.. I called a customer service # and the lady put in a call to someone who text me and I explained to her about only 1 key and no parking passes. She stated to write the information regarding our conformation on a piece of paper and put it on the dashboard of our vehicle. I also let security know and said that the company we rented from was very bad about that. Security told us to take it off our dashboard and they would take note what vehicles we drove and let them know when we received the official parking passes arrived. Then another lady named Kim contacting me and said two parking passes and 2 keys would be delivered the next day. Thank you Kim. We could relax then and enjoy our stay.

Condo and beach were beautiful, but rental listing was misleading.

My review in no way reflects on the condo/owners as it was very nice. My disappointment is at VRBO/Vacasa. We paid full price to stay in a condo with a balcony. The day before we were to arrive, I received an email stating that our balcony would be closed through 7/29/22. Our arrival date was set for 7/28/22. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who offered no apologies. I explained that had this been disclosed when I booked, I would not have chosen to stay there. This was apparently not a last minute closure and had been going on for several months. I asked if we would be able to have full use of our balcony after 7/29/22 and was told that work should be completed for the weekend. This did not happen either. Although we utilized the balcony for holding sand toys, etc., we were not able to enjoy it with our children and grandchildren. If I had been informed of this in advance, I could have foregone a balcony on our trip for less money. In addition, I rented the property for my entire family. This condo was said to hold nine adults and was very roomy; however, we were only allowed to purchase one parking pass. That was in no way feasible as nine people cannot fit into one vehicle. This was disappointing as we had three families staying, including infants/toddlers and had to utilize so much of our time making several trips back and forth to various parking lots in order to have access to our vehicles for sightseeing. Again, I loved the inside of our condo, and we were very happy with the cleanliness and set up. The parking and balcony issues would have been better received if Vacasa had been the slightest bit apologetic for them.
