Tucked away on a peaceful corner lot in a small cul-de-sac, this charming, dog-friendly retreat offers the best of both worlds—a quiet, private setting in the desirable Ruth Hardy Park/Movie Colony area, while still being just minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Guests can easily enjoy the city's vibrant dining, shopping, and cultural attractions, then return home to a serene neighborhood that feels like a true escape.

This ground-floor home is designed with relaxation and entertainment in mind, whether you prefer cozy time indoors or fun-filled days outside. The covered patio provides an inviting outdoor lounge space complete with comfortable seating, a dining area, and a private gas grill—perfect for leisurely family barbecues or evening gatherings. From here, a private courtyard entry leads into the fenced pool area, where you'll find a sparkling heated (for a fee) pool, spa, an additional dining space, and three chaise lounges ideal for soaking up the desert sun.

Inside, the open floor plan creates a warm and welcoming environment that brings the kitchen, dining area, and living room together. My family and I stayed at this beautiful, comfortable home. We loved the yard full of flourishing citrus trees and the pool was an awesome place to hang during the day. The location was perfect for us, close to parks and the bikes made an awesome addition to explore the beautiful neighborhood. We highly recommend this perfect home away from home.

Peaceful, Private, and Perfect!

We stayed in this welcoming Oasis and it was close to things we wanted to do; far enough away from traffic and other distractions to provide the respite we needed! It's a comfy, cozy retreat that allows anyone to find his/her space for reading, lounging, sunbathing and more--a great place and we can't wait for another visit. It feels like home.

Beautiful home!! Fantastic vacation!!

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. We stayed for 4 nights. We swam, went up the tram, visited the Village Festival on Thursday evening and had a wonderful vacation. The owner is easy to communicate with and his home has everything you would need. Frank, the property manager, met us at the home and made sure we knew where everything was. Can't wait to come back.

The privacy and location are excellent. The yard is very nice and well maintained. The house is comfortable in every way. We had children and grandchildren visit us and they loved the pool..We have stayed there four times for a total of over twelve months. I believe that would confirm our complete approval. Truly pleasant!

Home away from home

We spent 6 weeks here and we enjoyed it a lot. We especially appreciated the pool and the bicycles that were furnished for guests. We used them nearly every day. There are fruit trees in the back yard and we had fresh citrus everyday which was a treat. The house is comfortable and well supplied with the necessities. We would like to stay here again.

WE enjoyed our stay at Casa De Serena.Frank, the property manager was extremely helpful and it was a nice touch to have him greet us when we arrived. The house was very well stocked with supplies and the amenities were terrific. We enjoyed the spa, riding bikes and walking about a mile with our dog to eat eat at Loco Charlies for great Mexican food. The house is very close to downtown Palm Springs . We highly recommend this vacation rental and are looking forward to another visit.

Peaceful secluded and awesome.

I was greeted by Frank, the manager and he gave me the tour of the property. He showed how everything works including the spa. The area is so peaceful and quiet, you can hear nothing but the breeze and the birds chirping away. The living area and kitchen was spacious. The pool/spa was refreshing and well kept as well as the patio/lounge area. Well relaxing and comforting. Looking forward to stay again soon.

Great Palm Springs pool house

Manager Frank was very cooperative with check in and out. Very helpful... even brought us a bag of grapefruit from his tree! The owner Jim was very informative and flexible concerning pandemic requirements and regulations. Pool was perfect .. couldn’t get the kids out!

Fabulous Oasis

Wow! We loved this house. It was relaxed, calm and comfortable and it such a fantastic location. The owner thought about everything and was a generous host. The manager was welcoming and helpful, which was great after the long trip from Australia. Clean house,safe pool area for kids !!!

Thank you!!! It had a great time to be there. We were celebrated our princess's birthday and we all had a good time doing BBQ and swiming in the pool.. P.S. you don't have to bring your stuff there from home there was a lot of kitchen supplies and appliances and the refrigerator didn't have any smells, so you can keep your food nice and fresh.

Loved the location and the backyard with all the fruit trees was great. The house itself had everything we needed. As mentioned in other comments the shower fixtures need help. The beds could have had a better comfort level but were okay. One of the living room chairs would fall apart if you tried to sit in it. Overall the place was clean and well appointed, we would stay there again.

Great house wonderful area!

Loved the house had everything we needed...pool was amazing and private...perfect cool water temperature! Shower heads both need to be changed that was the major problem....fridge wasn't cooling but repair person sent immediately next morning and fixed it...great overall experience
