Welcome to Sugar Magnolia in Lake Lure! Our historic house offers the perfect blend of character, comfort, and convenience. This cozy and clean home invites you to experience the majesty of western North Carolina. Just minutes from the pristine waters of Lake Lure, the iconic Chimney Rock, and an array of trails, adventure is always at your doorstep. Our property boasts exclusive access to a private lake and river swimming hole, perfect for connecting with nature in a more secluded setting.

The space
This home has 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Note that one of the bedrooms doubles as the 'library' and has a very nice sleeper sofa and large TV. There are 4 TVs total, a dining room, living room, kitchen, and detached game room.

There are multiple gathering areas outside: (1) very large front porch, (2) covered stone patio just outside the kitchen, (3) large detached deck with grill and propane heater, (4) fire pit with large movie screen, (5) large pergola with custom clay/brick pizza oven. We provide a projector, extension cord, and tripod for use with the movie screen outside.

Our home is part of the Riverbend community, and you will have full access. We provide two fobs for the gatehouse and access to the lake/beach along with full access to the 'old swimming hole' on the Broad River.
