Beautiful setting, cottage was very ascetically pleasing and had everything we needed. Pool was a bit cold for my taste but very lovely, and great hottub. The furniture was very comfortable as well as the beds! We would come here again!

The cottage was so cute and comfortable! We had everything needed there and the amenities of the nice, quiet community were great. Very close to stores, beaches, and restaurants but set back enough that it felt like a private escape. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking in the area!

Perfect little cottage

Absolutely perfect for our week long stay. Cottage was clean and had all the necessities. Grounds are meticulously maintained including pool and hot tube area. Nice and quiet too!

Perfect for family of four

We had a great stay at this property. Would definitely stay again. It's located in a quiet gated community that is close to all the cute tourist towns in Southern Maine. Had everything we needed. My only recommendation would be to add extra sets of dishes and a lobster pot (it is Maine afterall).

Wells Maine Cottage

Very nice cottage, all the amenities available. Very clean. The only thing, if Im being honest, was there were 3 remotes to operate one tv in one of the bedrooms. Buts thats me nitpicking. We were out most of the time. The cottage had a nice homey feel. Id definitely recommend this.

Wonderful Stay

This home was so warm and inviting. The furniture was comfortable. The home was very clean, grounds were beautiful and very well appointed in Wells. Close to Hannaford, beaches and other Wells attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay. Having a washer/dryer was so helpful. Beds were pretty comfy. Master bed was a little firm for my liking; however not a show stopper. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Never again!

I have stayed in many rental properties in the last 20 years and never been in a rental with so little. One garbage bag, one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels. Don’t plan on cooking in the kitchen - the 2 frying pans should be thrown out, the silverware and dishes are minimal at best; if 4 people were staying there, it would be ridiculous! No hair dryer! I’ve never stayed in a place with no hair dryer! And after we moved in, we discovered that the indoor sliders were filthy - fingerprints all over. The community itself is very nice - my advice - find another cottage in that community to rent. But not this one!

To clarify, we provide a starter kit of amenities to get our guests' visits off to a good start, but they may not last your entire stay. This includes a couple of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, dishwasher pods, sponge, dish soap, laundry soap, and hand soap. This information can be found in the confirmation email sent when you book and the Trip Manager portal. We apologize for any inconvenience. Additionally, we're sorry that a hair dryer was not stocked and appreciate you allowing us to reimburse you for the one you purchased. Our local manager assured us that they will investigate the kitchen items and add/replace items as needed and any fingerprints on the slider be removed. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and enjoyed hosting you.

Great Cottage!

Our stay was great! The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable for four adults and one baby. We loved being at the beach for most of the day and returning to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The mosquitos were a problem during the day and evening, so we didn't sit outside of the cottage often. People in the community were very friendly. Would definitely go there again.
