The property was clean and the view was amazing as described. We were staying for one night before we could stay in another rental for the majority of our stay. One of the main reasons we wanted to stay here and paid what we did was because it was right on the beach and had a hot tub (also overlooking the beach). The hot tub wasn’t working properly and wouldn’t get above the temperature outside which was about 84 but was 81 every time we checked it. I contacted the host but check in is 4pm and they told us someone would be there to look at it the next day…check out is 10am. So we never got to use the hot tub and no one was even available to come and repair it while we were there. Which is a real disappointment because personally I look forward to a hot tub as a part of my vacation. I get things happen but with a one night stay, I feel like it’s super important for major components of the rental that are advertised to be in working order, especially for what we paid. No one apologized after we checked out or offered a discount or anything.

We were also happy to accommodate your one‑night stay, even though it’s shorter than our standard three‑night minimum. That said, we’re truly sorry for the disappointment with the hot tub. We understand how important that amenity was in choosing this property, especially being beachfront and overlooking the water. Unfortunately, the issue couldn’t be resolved during your short visit, and we apologize that the timing of check‑in and check‑out made it impossible for maintenance to address it while you were there. You’re absolutely right — major advertised amenities should be in working order, and we regret that this wasn’t the case for your stay.

We can’t say enough great things about this wonderful house! We’ve been visiting Florida for the past 5 years as a family in different areas. This year, we decided to bring our dog along for the ride. After further research, we realized how hard it is to find a place in Florida that allows our golden retriever. It was such a blessing in disguise - we would’ve never found this hidden gem of an island, or this cozy home, had it not been our desire to accommodate our pup this year! Upon arrival, everything was so prestige - all beds clean, multiple towels available, all kitchen/toiletry essentials, and most importantly, the online pictures of the area a true depiction of the residence. I figured the online image of the beach view from the family room was edited - but it’s actually better in person!!! This is the first time we’ve stayed at a house in Florida, vs a condo, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Not only the hospitable accommodations, but every person we met on the beach or in local stores were incredibly kind! We felt like we were home. Our entire family would absolutely recommend this residence to any friends and family and also plan on booking again in the future:) appreciate everything provided by the host and thankful for such a great family trip!
