Having amenities in the kitchen enables us to make our meals at home, not only to save on money but to save on calories as well! We are so glad you had a great stay at our home. You took good care of it during your stay and we would love to host you again in the future. Sadly, the weather worked against us on the pool temperature. The electric pool heat pump is set to heat the pool water to 80°F. However, the temperature of the pool water is directly impacted by ambient temperature, sunshine, and weather. Electric heating pumps do not operate effectively below 55°F. It is very unfortunate that your weather dropped below 45° for few nights and some days struggled to reach 70°. I wish you had told us about this and we would have had maintenance come out to up the set temp on the heater to try and make it warmer for you. The location of the home is definitely perfect- close enough to all there is to do but yet set in a quiet location to be able to relax when needed.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to use the free resort amenities (pool, tiki bar, and nature trail). These amenities are first-rate. The community pool is heated year-round. We do provide pool heat for a nightly fee. Our pool gets a bit chilly in the winter without it, especially with the freezing temperatures you experienced at night during your stay. It has been the coldest Florida weather in the past 30 years. There are back roads that help eliminate some of the 192 traffic. 192 is very busy in peak seasons and at rush hour. Using Sherbeth Road to Entry Point to Funie Steed helps some. The air conditioning setting is a recommendation by our maintenance company and is important in the summer months. The tropical humidity condenses in the unit and turning the temperature down causes that condensation to freeze inside. This causes the unit to stop working altogether and requires a call-out to get it running again. Additionally, if the freezing isn’t caught early on, it can cause permanent damage to the whole unit. By restricting the temperature to the recommended setting allows us to ensure our guests have the ac unit running properly. Having the parks so close is such a treat! It is easy to come and go during the day. We hope you stay with us again in the future.
