Bienvenido a California piso viven en su mejor!

Este condominio recientemente renovado cuenta con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones relajantes en uno de los barrios más atractivos de San Diego - Bird Rock. Ubicado en un edificio de exclusiva boutique, está a pocos pasos de restaurantes, bares, tiendas, gimnasio y las famosas playas de La Jolla.

La sala de estar / comedor de planta abierta cuenta con un sofá de gran tamaño, TV, y una mesa para cuatro. El dormitorio principal está equipado con una cama king size, amplio armario, y un baño que incluye una ducha y bañera a ras de suelo. El segundo dormitorio también tiene una cama king size y un montón de espacio en el armario. El segundo baño cuenta con una ducha a ras de suelo. También se incluyen los fundamentos tales como internet, cable y altavoces inalámbricos.

Great condo in heart of bird rock

Well appointed condo with all kitchen equipment and paper goods. Can cook full meals or walk to several restaurants with Starbucks and Lark and Owl just steps away from elevator. Private secure parking garage. Everything you need for a great stay in LaJolla!

Location is everything

We rented this apartment for a month. It is in a nice building, surrounded by a wonderful neighborhood. Unfortunately the accommodations were just so-so. In particular, the mattresses were a real problem, at least for me. I have a bad back, and need a firm bed. The mattresses in this apartment were as far from that as can possibly be imagined.The furniture was reasonably good, but very much old and worn. The oven and stove were not fancy, but very serviceable. They were the best thing about the apartment, in fact. Unfortunately, the kitchen only has a couple of cheap pans.The bottom line: you expect a rental apartment to be a money-making proposition. You also expect a Vrbo or a similar property to have some of the nicer touches that you might find in a favorite vacation home. Our previous rentals have all been very homey.This rental not so much. The management company provided a few extra garbage bags, and that's all. Otherwise the place had the personality of a Days Inn.This apartment is meant for people who will spend VERY little time in it (and cook nothing more complicated than cold cereal).

Cute Condo, Awesome Location

We love this condo! It was our third year there, and it was almost like a second home. All the amenities we needed and a wonderfully welcoming neighborhood and neighbors. Secured parking, walk to restaurants, parks and shopping. Perfect!

A Slice of Bliss...

This property is quiet, private, and nestled in the blissful Bird Rock neighborhood. Walk to grab a coffee, smoothie or acai bowl and gaze at the ocean from one of the numerous overlooks. The roomy and colorful apartment is cozy, but also spacious. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of storage. This is our second summer and we plan to return.

Kindly find another property

The location was great. There were many details that were not right, which I will only mention a couple: broken coffee-pot, chipped dishes,light bulbs out, broken door bell. Long hair around the unit. The main beef is this. We arrived, with our dog, from Boston, late at night. We coul not get into the unit. The directions were "There's a lock box outside the apartment." 1.. There was no lock box outside our apartment. it was at a different apartment. We called the 'on-site manager' who was in fact in NJ visiting, not San Diego. We left a text for the other manager, in Canada? Both told us to go to a hotel and they would reimburse us. The trip has been over for more than a month, I have sent several texts, was told "I'll look into it. Still no response from either manager. Whlie the property was adequate, the lcoation gorgeous, I would highly recommend you do not go to this property, it will be an exercise in frustration if you need to interact with the managers. It does not give you peace of mind, if you are in need of support for any issues related to your stay. Dane Ripellino, Psy.D.

Beautiful Bird Rock

As in the past, our Bird Rock experience was fantastic. The location is perfect - so close to the ocean, to a wonderful park, restaurants, etc. Parking is really safe and secure and access to Starbuck’s and the new Lark and Owl (which has the best pizzas and sandwiches in La Jolla) makes it a great place to stay.

Bird Rock is the serene getaway we needed...

The property is quiet, private, secure, and convenient to all San Diego has to offer. It is located in a mostly residential area just south of La Jolla. It is within walking distance of great little food places the Lark and Owl, Wayfarer, Surfer Cafe, Beaumonts, and Bird Rock Coffee. Beautiful views of the ocean can be accessed from numerous points in both directions by foot or just a 5-minute drive/scooter ride. It is clean, spacious, and nicely appointed with all the amenities you could possibly need. The bed was so comfortable we checked the make and model and are ordering one for home. It was such a good fit we have already booked for next summer.

Loved our Bird Rock Stay

We really enjoyed staying here while our house was being remodeled. We live in La Jolla but rarely get to watch sunsets every night over the ocean- it was so special! This location is incredible, and the layout of the place was great for our family of 4 and a dog. Only suggestion would be to have a dresser or two for longer stays so you don't feel like you are living out of a suitcase. We would love to stay at this place again and highly recommend for those looking to experience the unique Bird Rock vibes.

A Wondeful Winter in La Jolla

This is a wonderful location to experience all that San Diego offers, and that is a lot! My husband became a Sierra Club Seal Docent at the Children’s Pool during pupping season. We enjoyed hiking La Jolla State Park (some of the best trails ever) to Chicano Park, meeting the lead artist there. The Christmas Dog Parade was a laugh and a half. So many fun things to do I can’t list them all. The weather was nearly perfect. The neighbors are very friendly with great pizza from Lark and Owl. So dog friendly! The underground parking spot is a plus but street parking isn’t difficult on Chelsea. The beds are comfortable and the quiet condo is spacious for a two bedroom. Ashley responds quickly. There were a few things we would have liked to have available, but we weren’t in La Jolla for those things, so we weren’t bothered by that. I plan to send Ashley a short list for the next guest and I’m sure she will follow through. Thanks to her for her part in giving us a great winter with great memories.

Fantastic location

We lived in this spacious home for two months. It had everything we needed for an extended stay! The location is excellent - easily accessible to the beach, food, and more. We wish we could have stayed longer :D

Bird Rock /LaJolla Condo

We were able to access a lot of San Diego (our first time here) from this location and the condo was as shown in the pictures. LaJolla, 5 min away, is beautiful. Dedicated parking was a plus and the ocean is at the end of the block. Colin was responsive. Check in procedure with lock box, codes and keys was a little difficult, but we got it.

Great!

The ease of parking, the elevator to the apartment door, the striking decor and very comfortable surroundings, the afternoon sun streaming into the living area and the timely attention from the owners to answer questions, could not have been better. The location was wonderful! I love Bird Rock. Lots of great food, the ocean and dramatic views 2 blocks away, interesting shopping and spas close by. I walked to most, and the car stayed parked. I have rented several places over the past two years in La Jolla, and for me, this is my favorite. I will come back here again. Thank you Ashley and Brad. Andrea

Location, location, location!

I have to begin by saying that the Bird Rock area of La Jolla is wonderful! Not only does the neighborhood have everything you need within walking distance, but every street has a dazzling ocean view for sunset viewing or just for watching the ocean waves and feeling the ocean breezes. We rented this condo for the months of July and August, so we were really hoping to find a place that felt like a home away from home, something cozy. Unfortunately, this place didn’t fit that bill. When you’re away from home for 2 months, you need storage. While there’s ample closet space, neither bedroom had any storage shelves or dressers, so we couldn’t really unpack fully. While the beds are comfortable enough, I would recommend new pillows or bring your own (we did thank goodness). We knew going in that the condo was not air-conditioned and we weren’t really concerned because, this is La Jolla after all and we were a block off the beach. Unfortunately, La Jolla was hit with a heat wave for 6 of our 8 weeks and the condo was stifling and uncomfortable. Luckily, there are ceiling fans, but it was still hot, even at night. I should also mention that since the condo is in a business district, which was very convenient, it does come with lots of noise: garbage trucks, delivery trucks, etc. I’m not going to say anything really negative; however the decor is more Coco (if you’ve seen the movie you’ll know what I mean) or Dia de los Muertos. There was nothing beachy about it. Ashley was very responsive when we needed to communicate. We loved the area, the condo and noisiness not so much.

Nearly perfect

We are completing our stay today and enjoyed it a great deal. The condo is exactly as advertised. It is spacious, clean and well maintained. The location is convenient and out of the hubub of the village. Only one issue marred our visit. Summer visitors should be aware that the unit has no air conditioning and no ceiling fans. Sleeping was uncomfortable as street noise discouraged keeping the windows open. I would recommend the owners install ceiling fans. That should do the trick.

Tanning in January

I loved my stay in the 2 bedroom condo – it was so much better than staying in a hotel. The condo is in a small boutique style building that’s quiet and very well kept. The condo is spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated. I loved the fact that nothing looked worn or dated. The furniture was really comfortable, and the bed that I slept in was amazing! The kitchen had everything needed to make full meals, there’s A/C and a flat screen TV…you really couldn't ask for more. The open concept condo is big enough for a family, or for sharing with friends. The bedrooms are generous in size, and there are two bathrooms, which was a bonus. One of the best things about this condo is the location. Bird Rock is an amazing place to kick back and relax. The people are super friendly, and there’s a ton of things to do. There are numerous beach fronts to visit, great coffee bars, restaurants, live music and comedy shows, really good shopping, surfing and so much more. I loved starting the evenings off with a 2 minute walk down the road to watch the sun set over the water. I would highly recommend this condo for a weekend getaway, and week-long vacation, and for a prolonged stay, too. I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt.

SWEET PLACE!!!

This 2 bedroom condo was wonderful! Close to grocery shopping, drug stores, eateries, and shopping, but most importantly THE OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!! We could stand in the middle of the street it is on and see the ocean just 2 short blocks away. Every block in the neighborhood has beach access or overlook. The condo was modern, with touches of old San Diego's history. Beds were VERY comfortable, kitchen very adequate (previous renters even left us some of their usable beverages/comdiments) as we did for those after us. It was impeccably clean! And because it is in the same building as a coffee shop, we could awake to the aroma of coffee! The owners are very responsive when you have questions or concerns. We will definitely rent this condo again!

Bird rock area

This two bedroom condo was perfect. The unit was clean and welcoming. The location was fantastic! We walked everywhere. The unit was a little short on towels and kitchen linens, however when I emailed about that, the manager was going to restock. The unit could use a couple of clocks in the bedrooms as well. As all appliances were new, I do not hesitate giving this rental 5 stars!
