Hermosa casa con excelente ubicación! House está frente al lago y rodeado de playa de arena. Salir por la puerta y hasta el agua. Última casa en la calle con un parque de al lado. Bahía de Irondequoit y lanzamiento de un barco público es directamente al otro lado de la calle. La bahía es ideal para el canotaje, esquí, kayak / canoa, pesca, etc. Parque de atracciones Sea Breeze está justo bajando la calle. Realmente una propiedad increíble que se está catalogado como un alquiler por primera vez. Todo nuevo y de primera clase! Hay un sofá en la sala de estar que se saca en una cama de matrimonio y un sofá que se saca en una cama de matrimonio para alojar a clientes adicionales.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The view of the water and the back deck right on the sand were just what we were looking for. Some provided beach chairs and sand toys were a great addition and got a lot of use by us and our kids. The location to Sea Breeze was a bonus as well. We would stay again!

This house was a dream. Every detail was curated for aesthetics and practicality. The views from every window were gorgeous and both sunrise and sunset was spectacular! Plus there were two restaurants across the street. Wish I was there in the summer to utilize the beach, the sea, the grill! I didn’t use the fire pit but there was a shore station in case I did!! Plus, coffee and snacks!!

Nice beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this home! Great beach access, fun for adults and kids. We did not stay in the house much, other than to sleep, but everything was fine. We will stay again.

We were very disappointed with the condition of this property and ultimately not to stay at the property after realizing the condition.The home was advertised as sleeping 8 people, including use of two queen sleeper sofas downstairs. Unfortunately, both sleeper sofas were in unacceptable condition. One could not even be opened, and the visible mattress had stains and a strong unpleasant odor. Both sleeper sofas also had sand and dog fur on them.In addition, there was dog fur throughout the property, including on furniture and chairs, which made the home feel unclean overall.We were also concerned about the condition of the property itself. There were visible signs of exterior water damage and possible organic growth around the upstairs window area, and the inside of the upstairs window also showed evidence of water intrusion and damage.What was especially frustrating was the lack of communication from the host after check-in. Prior to arrival, communication was very responsive. However, once we reported these issues and sent photos at the host’s request, we received no response at all. Vrbo was also unable to reach the host when we contacted them for assistance.Based on the cleanliness concerns, condition of the sleeper sofas, and concerns about moisture/water damage, we did not feel comfortable staying and decided to leave early.

A Perfect Get Away Spot.

I love staying here each year. It is all about the location. Sandy beach right off the deck. A nice stretch to walk and find sea glass. We come prepared with raincoats and boots so we can walk rain or shine each day. While one side of the house faces Lake Ontario, the other end has a bright room with views of the Bay. It is not fancy but cozy and tastefully decorated. Close to stores and restaurants. Perfect for our family.

Can't beat the private beach location

This was our second stay so we knew a few things, such as to bring a curtain rod and curtain for the upstairs bedroom and to not expect the upstairs window ac unit to work, but some minor annoyances don't detract from the perfect beach spot for our 2 and 5 year-olds.

We loved it!

The listing is accurate, just I recommend you bring a couple window fans if possible to use if sleeping upstairs, because the air conditioning is downstairs so it can get hot trying to sleep at night. The fire pit is nice, and there’s sand toys there kids can use. Washer & dryer, great kitchen. WiFi was good & tv options. We booked twice nice place!

We booked this somewhat last minute to take advantage of a small break in projects with work. Yes, it was cold, because it was early March! But OMG, SO BEAUTIFUL. It was a really nice location, a little beat up outside from the winter lake, but that is NOT a problem, honestly it was interesting to see! The bridge near by made it sound like a soft thunder in the distance or waves crashing and I LOVED that, I mean it. The host could not have been MORE accommodating. I booked so quick, I didn't realize I had the dates wrong in my setup! I booked the week after and only realized it on the drive up. He was so gracious to adjust our stay and to make it happen for us. We were so relieved. We brought our own food, relaxed, checked out the area, but mostly, we enjoy opening the deck, walking out on the sand, any time of the day with our aussiedoodle. If she were a human, she would have cried when we left, she was depressed when we came home. That pup, LOVED staying there. She is generally a happy girl, but up there, other level of happy. We work hard, don't have a ton of , but she loved it so much there, that I will try to do what I can to take her back there again. Don't discount these locations in the winter months. The quiet beauty of a winter lake, especially in a genuinely nice property like this, was just the break we needed. Clean location, host EXCELLENT, communication great, location to other things awesome, lifetime memory value - PRICELESS.

We never checked in when we arrived the place was not cleaned, there were no beds made, no linens to sleep, the floors were covered in sand, refrigerator was filthy, bathrooms disgusting. we had to get a hotel room and have asked for a refund as which the host has not replied to 4 of my emails requesting. We are now going to proceed with our credit card company and VRBO for full refund. I have photos but will not let me upload

Location is great, but deck outside needs more cleaning and maintenance. Upstairs rooms can get hot so maybe need fan in addition to the AC.

Can't wait to come back!

We love this house and the area it is in. Perfect getaway house on the beach. I left my phone alone most of the weekend. It felt good to recharge away from the daily scenery and grind. Seabreeze is a great place and this house is perfect. The owners are both very helpful and available and the house is cleaner than mine. Respectful neighbors and community. My first vrbo and glad I booked

A Blissful Retreat by the Waves

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO small house nestled right on the beach, and it was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the waves. The location of this property is simply unbeatable. Step outside, and you're right on the beach. It's the perfect escape for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. Despite light rain at times, we enjoyed long walks on the beach. We were treated to several gorgeous rainbows over Lake Ontario. With plenty of outside seating, we were able sip wine and enjoy a unobstructed view of Lake Ontario.

Great location - house needs TLC

The house inside was ok / except I read previous reviews about a mouse and he was still there! The house needs a good deep, clean inside and out. The house smelled musty - bought some air fresheners. I took a shower curtain to put on the sliding doors - worked well. The upstairs got a little stuffy at night - glad we took fans! No ceiling fans in house. The location was great! Right on the water!

Beautiful location with great sunsets BUT...

Needs a deep professional clean. Old rolls and popped popcorn present in cupboards. Linens and towels shabby. Broken outdoor furniture should be replaced. Outside of home should be cleaned--filled with cobwebs and dirt. A patio umbrella would be nice. Expect a lot more when paying a total of almost 500.00 per night with fees and cleaning.

Great location, building is tired and was not cleaned well prior to our arrival

The location is lovely, stayed on a long weekend and traffic wasn't bad, not much noise after sunset. The amusement park and restaurants nearby were great for our young family. The sand is soft, the water was clean, and the sunsets were amazing. My kids loved the beanbag game on the deck. However, the structure itself is pretty tired, moss growing on the roof, water damage around the windows. Broken beach chairs left on the deck. The pull-out couch is falling apart and the mattress/springs are bowled, adequate for a child but wildly uncomfortable for an adult. There was sand everywhere, including in the pull-out beds. Spiderwebs in every corner. The barbecue grill was dirty, there was no brush (that I could find), and the utensils were left dirty in the grill. Kind of makes you wonder what the cleaning fee we get charged is put towards.

We'll return!

This is a great property. You wake up and have coffee right on the sand. The house is filled with light. It is as it appears in the pictures. The lake is very "user friendly" for kids, they can go quite far out and still be safe. In the evening we were able to enjoy the music from the restaurant down the beach. The house was very quiet in the evening. There are many great little/big restaurants in the area. Seabreeze was a big hit. Things to know... there are bath towels, but we had to purchase washclothes and bath mats. There aren't grab bars in the upstairs bathroom. Bring a tub for kids to wash their feet off before coming back in from the sand. The exterior is somewhat "underwhelming" the screens kept coming off their tracks, house hadnt been power washed for a while, deck railing needs repair, but deck floor was fine . The beds were really comfortable, but pullout couch def for kids only, an adult would need a chiropractor for sure. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and other family members are interested in renting it again.

Great family vacation!

The house was a comfortable and welcoming space for our family vacation (grandparents with an 8 year old grand-daughter, visiting our son's family who lives in Rochester). I loved being able to walk across the street with my kayak for a morning paddle. Because it's a private beach we just left our chairs etc down at the water's edge without toting back and forth. The neighbors are friendly and the beach is "dog tolerant:" just clean up after your pet and be respectful of others. Our dog made lots of friends! It was nice to have Seabreeze Park so close by, and plenty of nearby restaurant options. Maggie's has live music that's close enough to listen to on the deck if you want to, but far enough away so that it's not a nuisance if that's not your things. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. When the microwave quit working, they arranged to have a new one delivered to the house the same day. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. We encountered none of the issues that some other reviews mentioned. The decking is composite, so no issues that others mentioned. The house was tolerably clean, the windows and doors worked fine, the AC was good, etc. Highly recommend if you're looking for a beach vacation in the Rochester area!

Disappointed

I want to start by saying that I have used VRBO countless times and this is the first time I walked into a place and became completely disappointed. The pictures of the house must be from 10yrs ago. There is a squirrel living in the roof above the front door. The deck back is falling apart. The beautiful fire ring we were expecting to use was completely filled in with sand. There was trash on the back deck. The garbage on the back deck was full. The couch is falling apart. It’s like sitting on the floor. No batteries in the remotes. ( I was told to get some and I would be reimbursed.) It said to bring beach towels but there were no towels at all. Well there was but we didn’t find them until our 4th day when we went to do a load of laundry and they were all in the dryer. The one bedroom upstairs has water damage around the window and I’m pretty sure black mold. The A/C compressor is half way covered in sand and barely worked. Chairs for outside were buried in sand and a couple were even melted. I really don’t think this place was even looked at since last season. Do yourself a favor and do not book. If you did please ask for a refund. I did hear back about the batteries but when I messaged about the other issues I was ghosted. Not even I’m sorry or anything. If we didn’t have other plans for the week that were already paid for we would have left the day we showed up and asked for a full refund. Will never return to this place or book with this owner again.
