View was amazing, balcony chairs were comfy condo had everything we needed. Couch and rug could use a good shampoo and there was an irritable beeping noise in outside breezeway that could be heard throughout the condo, maybe smoke detector needed a battery. The neighboring property is very noisy in early morning with moving beach toys and at night with live music, couldn’t heard the beauty of nature.

Oceanfront Bliss

2 families, total of 8 people, with children ranging between 3 months to 10 years old travelled to Ft. Myers Beach for the 4th of July. The condo is in a wonderful location as you can easily watch the fireworks from the beach, screened in porch, or master bedroom. Nice size pool with plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Well stocked inside the condo and the porch had an array of things for the beach. We did find 2 windows open in each bedroom which we've addressed with the property. There was also what we believe to be painting in the condo while we were there on another floor and the paint fumes travelled through the ac vents. It wasn't overkill, but just enough to notice it. As FMB was hit back to back with hurricanes the past 2 years, renovations is a given.

Great place for relaxing beach vacation.

Close enough to Times Square, restaurants, and shops but not overly crowded on beach. Only hassle was code didn’t work when we got there . We were able to get a hold of someone right away and get in. Also, pool code didn’t work all week, but we got around that too. Hair dryers didn’t work but not a big deal. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. View out enclosed patio is absolutely stunning! My family had a great time and would stay again! Recommend highly!

Horrible experience

No AC the first and 2nd day. Code never worked even when reset 3 times. Rug had candy on it. Couch was stained. The whole place smelled like pet urine. Sheets were sandy. Hairdryers didn’t work. Many of the outlets didn’t work.

Overall, unit was just okay but we really enjoy the area

I use VRBO every year…..We return to this area every year and always stay at Beach Villa, however this was the first and last time in this specific unit. Compared to the other units I have rented It was just not as deep cleaned, and more dates overall. The living room furniture seemed very worn and uncomfortable. However with that being said the unit served its purpose. I will just not rent that specific unit again.

Read the Fine Print

Although this condo was located on a beautiful stretch of beach in Fort Meyers, the accommodations were less than desirable. My family with young children had traveled over 20 hours to reach Florida and when we arrived we found food smeared on the cabinets in the kitchen and a toilet that had a broken handle, which made it unable to flush. When we called maintenance we were informed they were no longer on staff for the evening and we would have to wait until the following day to have it repaired. In addition, we had traveled light in clothing knowing that the condo had a washer and dryer. Later on the first evening of our stay, we found out that the dryer did not work. In fact, it blew a fuse every time we tried using it. When we called staff to let them know, we were informed there was nothing they could do about it. In fact, we were told to read the fine print that if an appliance goes out during our stay, they will try their best to fix it quickly, but are not required to. The best they could do is reimburse us quarters for the laundromat. So while on vacation with my family, we were told to go to the laundromat instead of spending our time together enjoying beautiful Florida. We found it difficult to believe that a property management business that oversees around 300 VRBOs did not have a contingency plan for something like this. My recommendation to you is read the fine print. It is not like a resort that can just put you in a different room if something is broken. Or research your property manager to find out if they are accommodating to unforeseen difficult circumstances, because this organization was not.

Not impressed

The website pictures were way more impressive than the actual property. The couch and chairs were stained and the screened porch was dirty. The dishwasher was not properly installed and moved every time it was loaded. The pool was small and the temperature was not cool at all. The location was nice and very close to the beach.

I liked the property, the beach and the neighborhood. I only have to complain on the housekeeping service. In 7 days nobody came to clean and change the towels. This is not supposed to happen.

Beach stay okay

The unit was nice enough, and the location was awesome. The pool was small, but nice and warm. Some complaints: the dishwasher (which was new, apparently) did NOT work! Even after two visits from repairmen, we had to wash dishes all week. There were only TWO beach chairs (and no umbrella) for a unit that could easily sleep 6 people. Totally unacceptable. Shower in main bathroom didn’t stay warm. Insufficient cooking utensils...I had to buy some in order to make Christmas dinner. The unit has potential, but these deficiencies should be addressed.

Our stay

The door lock combination was incorrect and it took some time to get into the unit. I arrived in the evening, and retrieving the parking pass was a four mile drive! The parking passes could be placed in the unit to make it easier for guests. The unit is “worn” and needs some TLC. The kitchen is updated (although the dishwasher didn’t work), the bathrooms are definitely dated. A bit of paint is also needed. The saving grace is the location whic is wonderful..

Horrible Condo

We arrived for a girls weekend with 6 ladies. We arrived to a very small condo. The pictures were not accurate and were very deceiving. It stated it slept 8 but two of the beds were full beds. The pullout couch bed was paper thin and you could feel the bars under your body. It also only had seating on the porch for 3 people. We did not have enough bedding or pillows or towels for the six of us. Although the agency was good at bringing those to us. The condition of the condo is poor. The front door isn’t secure and didn’t lock at times, cabinets peeling, rust on the doors and laundry door wouldn’t open. Fan on porch wasn’t bolted well to the ceiling, bathroom door had insulation coming out of the bottom, sink in master wouldn’t drain, dishwasher not working, carpet was dirty and needed replaced, red ants that bit several of the ladies on the inside of condo. Everything in the condo was rundown and not as described. Extremely disappointed with the condo and having to deal with maintenance issues for two of our four days here. The rental agency responded well to our needs, but the owner needs to update this condo for the amount of money it cost to rent it. We would never stay in the condo or complex again.

Beautiful view!

Beautiful place with awesome view of the gulf. The accommodations were perfect for us. Just one suggestion, the listing said there was a hot tub on property but there was not. Not a huge deal but it might be good to change that in the listing.

Beach Villa beauty

You will love this place. It’s absolutely perfect and clean. The ocean is right there and easy access to everything. We went to the Pink Shell pool for free because it was a slow month in September. They had fun pool games. Would highly recommend this place !!

Just Okay

The condo is a little worn out, but overall fine. A few things needed to be repaired - light bulbs, toaster, shower 🧼 n the second bathroom was unusable. Also, one roll of toilet paper for a week long stay didn’t quite cut it. The pool was very small for a building that size and There were no umbrellas for shade at all. We would have liked to sit out by the pool but with a bit of shade. It’s hard to have the Pink Shells resort right next door for comparison.

Great Stay

My family enjoyed our vacation here. The condo is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The condo is in a great location. It is close to the Ft Myers Beach pier and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The pool is a little small, but thats okay since the ocean is more fun.

Fort Myers June 7-15 2019

Family vacation. We had a good time . We loved the area . Condo was was fine a little rough around the edges but suited our needs . Pull out couch was really probably best for a small child not comfortable to sleep on . The umbrella and chairs came in handy .We also bought some and donated them downstairs with the community chairs and beach toys . Overall we had a greT time

Great condo

My family really enjoyed staying at the 204 Beach Villa condo. We were 0.9 miles from Times Square and it was an easy walk down the beach to get there. Being next door to Pink Shells resort allowed us to have easy access to rentals such as umbrella/chairs, kayaking, paddle boards, parasailing etc. We also enjoyed their pool music while sitting on our balcony enjoying the great beach views. Having seen other reviews that were not so flattering, I was a little skeptical about what our stay would be like. We absolutely loved it! I did not have any complaints. Just an FYI, we didn’t see them until it was time to leave, but there is some beach gear in the smaller bedroom closet probably left by other renters. Hope this helps!

It was ok but we had trouble using the key pad lock they only supply 1 roll of tp per bathroom light switch didn’t work in the bedroom got bed bugs then we got charged $50 for carpet cleaning and we didn’t eat or drink in the bedrooms ? 🤔 someone came in our room and took one of the beach chairs!! Loud noise around the pool area from landscapers cutting trees and shrubs all day!!! Otherwise the location was great!!

Nice Place

Well i went with my parent and my husband and overall the apartment was nice but the air conditioner didn’t work well. At night my little daughter wake up the 3 nights crying because it was to hot inside and we didn’t find the way to put it down more cooled. The location is really good .

Enjoyed the view!

Clean and comfortable beds! Pool is very small. Doors in the condo are hard to open and close. Property managers took care of my questions and issues super fast. Condo is about .75 miles from the pier. I love the area

Great Time

It was great might need a new DVD player went to red box to get a movie one night not sure if it was the dvd player or the disc but it said bad dvd on both dvd's. No worries a lot of channels on the TV Great job especially during sea turtle season when the beach is so dark.
