Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I rented the villa for our anniversary in June 2025. It was fantastic. The unit had been recently updated and freshened up, as was the exterior. We had great views of the Atlantic from the second floor main kitchen/eating/living room level, and from the upper floor sleeping level. The only issue we had was that the master bed was so tall we needed a step stool (which was already there) to get into it. The whole place was nice and clean.We would say the price was a fair price, and that we intend to stay there again.

It was disappointing to realize we could not get to the beach right in front of the balcony as the 2 sets of steps/stairs are still being repaired 9 months after Hurricane Helene which I found very disappointing. They should be fixed by now,I beleive that is on the property management though not the condo owner its been 9 months. We had to drive to a beach. I didn't see that in the details when I booked it last minute. The condo does need some new pillows, flat as pancakes. The stay was nice and we enjoyed it. Relaxing and beautiful island.

2023 Winter Holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved property/view. Only issue was VayKay bike rental. Emails back and forth trying to use the $160 credit toward renting 2 bicycles. Was told no bike rental available during winter season. Arrived at Villa’s rental and saw two different rentals with “Jekyll Reality” signs on bikes. So yes VayKay does rent during winter for Jekyll Reality. Went by office and discussed w/ gentleman who said issue was because 1)Villas is a private rental and 2) our rental was on second floor, no place to put bikes, etc. But other units had the bikes. However Villas has several bike racks near all rentals (including rack beside unit #302). We were disappointed because family previously used bike rental service and loved the experience. It worked out because we rented bikes directly from Villas By The Sea. Turned them in daily and repeated process each day. Good to know private residences/upper unit rentals do not apply toward bike rental from VayKay. But you need an umbrella/chairs, they are available all seasons.

Another wonderful Jekyll stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a visitor from the UK, visits to the USA can be slightly daunting because to the European eye, Americans can be rather brash and loud. However, we discovered Jekyll Island over 30 years ago and have returned 29 times because it is so beautiful and peaceful. This visit was exceptionally relaxing and the villa was exactly what we needed - very well appointed, bright, airy and with stunning views of the ocean.

Beautiful location!

Such a beautiful place! The condo was clean as can be, and stocked just like home. I can tell someone really loves that condo and treats it with care. I loved the view! It can't be beat, especially from the 3rd floor balcony. We will definitely be back someday!

Girls trip!

We had a great time! The condo was clean and the view was fantastic! Location was perfect…easy walk to Driftwood Beach…and short drive to shopping and dining. Jekyll Realty was great with communication. We’ll definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to Jekyll Island. We came in February 2022 and were very pleased. The view was great and the condo was clean with nice furnishings and very good kitchen equipment on hand. The only downside was the refrigerator doors opened o the wrong side so you had to compress yourself into a corner to open the doors. We called the realtors about the problem and they sent someone out to reverse the doors. Much better now and they took care of the problem quickly. We would recommend this condo to friends.

Comfortable condo with best view.

Comfortable condo for relaxing. Furnishings are dated, but maybe that's personal preference. Great view with nice balconies to enjoy. Remters need to know the entrance is on the second level with no elevator.

Great Location, Nice Villa 302

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very pleased with the villa in general. Very clean, great location and views were spectacular. Only problem we had was the appliances. The setting light on the oven did not light up so couldn't see what temp was set on the oven. Some times it would heat and others never heated. The refrigerator was the biggest issue. We brought all our food for the week. On the third night the freezer quit and we had water all over the kitchen floor. Maintenance fixed and the next morning woke up again to water on the floor with no freezer or frigeration. Everything in the freezer was thawed and had to be thrown away. The frig also quick cooling so lost half of what we had there. The frig temp was 68 and the freezer was 48 degrees. Maintenance did bring a mini frig so we could salvage some things but was not able to keep everything. This was very upsetting because it was Christmas Eve and Day when all this happend and we still had three days left of our stay. Jekyll Realty is great! Have been using them for about five years and have always had excellent service. Employees are very professional and helpful.

December 2021 Stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Harbor Lights Villa #302, which is located at the Villas By the Sea Resort & Conference Center. Everything in the 2BR/1.5BA unit was clean & comfortable. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings & the clear view of the ocean is the best part of Villa #302. It's amazing to be able to see the ocean from the kitchen through the dining & LR straight to the LR balcony & to have such a great view from the MBR balcony as well. Villa #302 is a 2nd & 3rd floor corner unit with a floor to ceiling window at the top of the stairs next to the BRs which offers a great view of the ocean & St. Simon's Lighthouse in the distance. Parking is directly behind the entrance with palm trees between the building and parked cars, & a swimming pool on the other side of the parking lot. The beach & Driftwood Beach are only a 5 minute walk using the sidewalk path to the board walk. This is a great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We greatly enjoyed a long weekend at Harbor Lights Villa #302, which is located at the Villas By the Sea Resort & Conference Center. Everything in the 2BR/1.5BA unit was clean, comfortable and well organized. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the clear view of the ocean is the best part of staying at Villa #302. It's amazing to be able to see the ocean from the kitchen through the dining and living room straight to the LR balcony and to have such a great view from the MBR balcony as well. Since Villa #302 is a 2nd and 3rd floor corner unit there is also a floor to ceiling window at the top of the stairs next to the BRs with a great view of the ocean and the St. Simon's Lighthouse in the distance. Parking is directly behind the front entrance to Villa #302 with palm trees between the building and parked cars, the swimming pool on the other side of the parking lot. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach using the sidewalk path between the building entrance to Villa #302 and the parking lot. The boardwalk is lined with path lights to see where you're going at night or before sunrise. Driftwood Beach is also just a short walk to the north of Villa #302. It was magnificent to see the sunrise so easily from the balconies. The last morning of our stay we went to Driftwood Beach to see the sunrise and were blessed with the sight of a dolphin swimming along the shore as well. Jekyll Realty was always very cheerful and professional. We checked in very late and they made sure to have our key to the unit waiting for us at the Villas By the Sea front desk, which is open 24/7. Dropping the keys off at the Jekyll Realty office drop box was also easy to do at Jekyll Village. Jekyll Island is a great place to stay as a base to explore St. Simon's north of Jekyll and Cumberland Island south of Jekyll. Even without visiting nearby islands there's lots to explore and do on Jekyll Island. We look forward to visiting again and biking all around the island.

Perfect view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at some of the other oceanfront villas and they've all been very good. 302 is the best of them yet. The décor is better and I like that it's off the ground so that you can enjoy the view from the living area as well as the main bedroom. I had stunning sunrise photos from every day of my visit without leaving my room.The Villas have done a lot of work to buildup the shore in front of the property and the crossovers are complete and look great.I'm not happy about the $1,000 damage deposit that is required (there is an optional $50 charge in lieu of that). Luckily, they do refund that deposit promptly. The cleaning fee seems high based on my experiences. Perhaps that is a local thing.

Delightful getaway for family of four

Lovely ocean views on two levels, this condo is cozy and perfect for our family with a master for the parents and second bedroom with twin beds for the kids. Very easy walk to driftwood beach or Horton's pond. Biking trails easy to get around the Oceanside or Riverside.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with Jekyll Realty was very good, however the staff at the Villas by the Sea office are lacking in professionalism. I had a negative experience with three staff in the office, while trying to get a package delivered from home (a needed charger). In the end, the package had been delivered, they never told me, I learned AFTER I returned home it was at the office, and then they wanted me to pay to ship it home to me. Jekyll Realty took care of it for me from that point, and were wonderful!!!

Great place with ocean views

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. It is nicer in person than appears in the photos. The views are amazing, and it is just a short walk to Driftwood Beach. Currently, there is only one beach access at Villas by the Sea and it is not very convenient to this unit (several buildings away), but still only about a 5 minute walk. It is clear that there used to be multiple access points to the high tide trail from Villas by the Sea but many are damaged/under construction. While there is no laundry in the unit, there are multiple laundry facilities on the property and they did not seem to be getting much use. The dishes were filthy upon arrival, but this likely reflects the previous renters and not the owner/cleaning crew. Villas by the Sea was kind enough to give us extra dishwasher detergent. This was a great spot to relax and enjoy water views by day and stars by night, and served as a nice home base from which to explore the beaches of Jekyll Island.

Villas by the Sea~July 2020

Enjoyed the seaside view, furnishings, well stocked kitchen and how comfortable the a/c was. Also, enjoyed the pool and the esthetic of the complex itself w/the trees and landscaping. Altho’ we didn’t eat at Driftwood Bistro, I like the idea that there is a restaurant right there. AND~ I liked that the shops and market were still close-by.
