We had a great time. The house was in a great location and beautifully decorated. With two families the house was much bigger than we needed. There is plenty of room and ample bathrooms for everyone. The 4 kids enjoyed staying all together in one room downstairs. We loved the location, the large yard, and the responsiveness of the owner and property manager. Our stay would have been even better if there had been more beach chairs and sand or water toys. Thank you for having us!

My sisters, best friends and I had THE best stay. We went to Block Island to celebrate my upcoming wedding- my sisters and I have gone to block island our whole lives with our family and this was such a special trip. Kelsea’s home was even better than the listing stated! She was very communicative before during and after, she had a family member on island available in case of any needs. We truly could not have asked for better hosts!! The location was perfect - easy to walk and bike to town, to the beach. Every girl on the trip agreed we want to return! Would recommend Kelsea’s home to families, friends visiting the island.

The house was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own space and the kitchen and dining room were great spaces to gather. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Old harbor was a short walk for shopping.

Great house!

We enjoyed a wonderful week with family at the house. It was very clean, spacious, and we loved the big yard and outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Convenient location to town and easy to get to the beaches. We will definitely be back!

A Little Slice of Heaven

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property! We traveled with our older parents, our teenage children, and some friends. The house was large enough to accommodate all, and with 5 bathrooms (not including the shower), everyone had their own privacy too. It had everything we needed to cook-in for a couple nights, and the laundry room was also a huge plus! Our gang enjoyed playing yard games in the beautiful front yard, as well as sipping coffee and cocktails together on the porch. Kelsea was extremely responsive prior to our stay, and Sarah and George next door greeted us to let us know they were there if we needed anything, but then they left us alone to enjoy our privacy and vacation. This is a beautiful home and truly a special place…a slice of heaven for sure!

Beautiful home near town

Kelsey and Joe are phenomenal hosts who clearly want to ensure their guests have a good stay. I was very grateful for the pro active communication when there was a potential snag in our travel due to a fire on the island. Kelsey was quick to reach out and be sure we were aware and able to navigate the situation without incident. Joe was very helpful on several occasions when we ran into minor setbacks. The house is impeccable and nicely laid out. We especially enjoyed the large wrap around porch. The location is a little bit of a plus-minus. We loved being close to town and being able to walk in. On the other hand the house is very near the airport and in the take off/landing path. So lots of small plane traffic over the house. It was tolerable but could be a bit much at times. Overall great experience and great hosts.

Beautiful home and property

The six little cousins loved playing in the yard and porch throughout our stay. We kept saying how homey and comfortable the house was and such a nice quiet area. Perfect walk to town to the ice cream shoppe and candy store and a quick drive to scotch beach! We would without a doubt stay here again.

Dream House

This is our second time staying at this property and it is absolutely perfect for our large family. Plenty of beds and a bathrooms for every bedroom! The wraparound porch is the cherry on top!!! Perfect location to town. All the modern amenities. The yard was large enough for us to play outdoor games and set up a volleyball net. We will most definitely be renting again!

Block Island Serenity

Such a wonderful Island and such a wonderful home! Joe and his daughter were exceptionally good hosts. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and so convenient to downtown Block island and the beaches and all the wonders the Island has to share. My family and friends who came to stay loved being able to gather in a spacious and nicely furnished and decorated, yet comfortable home where we could all get together in the large living room and watch sunsets together on the large front porch. The outdoor shower was one of my favorite amenities and the central air kept us cool throughout our 2 week stay. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own bath. This was so great for having numerous couples and adults join us. The home and the owners exceeded my expectations and I hope to return many more times.

Perfect Block Island vacation.

The house was wonderful and spotless. The bathrooms are very modern. The setting is so beautiful and restful. A few planes from the airport, but not a big deal. Joe, the owner, was a wonderful host, at the ready if I needed anything. I so enjoyed meeting him.

My father built this home himself in 2001 from the ground up. He put attention into every detail and continues to update the home and property yearly. The house is cozy yet spacious, a perfect vacation rental. We love sharing this beautiful home and having other families enjoy it as much as we do.

My dad lived on Block Island for over 30 years and built many homes on the island. This was by far his best work in the perfect location. Surrounded by stone walls, farm homes and the greenest grass, you feel like your living in a story book while relaxing in this beautiful home.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

You will not find another house as clean and pristine. Relax inside with a cup of tea or sip wine on the front porch while the kids play in the front yard. Need to get out? Talk a quick walk into town and back, several times throughout the day, every time returning back home to peace and relaxation. The house is open yet the bedrooms feel very private each with their own full bath. Grill and enjoy a meal outside or gather in the spacious dining room. This house has it all.
