What a cool experience! The houseboat was meticulously clean and stocked with all the essentials. There’s a food truck within walking distance, along with a bar that sells only wine and beer, plus access to a heated pool. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a little adventure.

Great place to stay!

The front desk attendant who checked us in was amazing, helpful, and so kind. The boat was clean and cozy. Great spot for a vacation!

amazing view. great for people who get sick on the sea because there’s very minimal rocking. front office staff are very nice. roomy enough for 4 people and did not feel like we were on top of each other. will definitely stay again next time we’re in the keys.

Houseboat Manager and boat crew were very helpful with everything. Houseboat was immaculately clean, quiet at night, well decorated. We had a great time! Even the little doggies were friendly with ours.

Winter get away

Beautiful setting! Check in and out was painless. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Such a pleasant little get away. All we had hoped it would be!

This was a great place to stay. Something different for sure. Houseboat was super clean, great view from the back porch. Staff were very helpful and lots of good info was provided about the area. Definitely would stay again!

Quiet Getaway!

We loved our experience on the Sea Biscuit! Mike our host was friendly and made us feel as though we were family. Everyone was friendly, the service was amazing and the pool was quiet, clean and cool! We will definitely be back!!

Weekend getaway

It was our first time on a houseboat, and we truly enjoyed it. We had a little bit of a hiccup, but the property manager was so quick to fix it. And really enjoyed the stay and the accommodations. We definitely will be back again.

Great experience

Staying in the houseboat was fun and a different experience from the norm! A great time, loved the pool area, being on the water. Blow dryer issue a little bit of a challenge but not a deal breaker.

Cosy and clean

Spent here two wonderful days/ nights with my family. Houseboat is fully equipped as described and the host is very friendly and helpful. The only minus is the temporary bad smell when using the toilet flush, which is probably related to the marine toilet. We really liked the sunset view from the “veranda”.

We could have added extra treatment, had we known of the strong odor. I will instruct our housekeeping department to add additional treatment to that houseboat. Fun Times on a Boat House

We loved our stay. Property was cute but tiny. The pictures showed a stove top, but our unit actually only had a type of camping stove that's electric so that part was weird. Everybody was very nice. Wish the pub at the marina was a full bar.

Hi, Thanks for taking time to provide us a review. All houseboats have 2-burner plug in stoves, as we have removed ALL propane from the units for safety reasons. I did find the 1 picture that still showed the original stove configuration and removed it. There are 2 other pictures that display the current stove/kitchen configuration. THX, Mike

Loved It

We loved our stay. There were some issues with our house boat when we got in. We checked in super late, but the staff more than made up for it the next day. Super friendly and responsive. They were awesome, and waited until we left for the day and came in promptly handling everything.The property itself was heavenly. We will definitely come again. Boat was as pictured, and the bar next door was not too loud at night to hear.

One of the Best Weekends!!

The houseboat was new, clean and so comfortable. I never sleep through the night but on the houseboat I slept through the night and woke up to beautiful sunrises. We had floats which we used right there in the bay and the marina has easy access for boats. My friends picked us up and we spent the day at the sandbar and then went snorkeling. The marina has a fire pit area where we had a crab boil with 20 people. It was amazing. I highly recommend staying on a house boat at this marina. Everyone who stayed there and worked there were so friendly.

House boat - fun time.

Really a good stay. Two things to note. The shower in sea biscuit was really small. I fish and learned you cant fish from the boats. Which was not a major issue since i rented a kayak to fish, but in the evenings i would have enjoyed having a line out drinking a glass of wine. Overall it was a great experience

Great new experience!

This whole trip to the Florida Keys was kind of an adventure for our family. We did things that we wouldn't normally do. Once of them being renting this houseboat. Everyone was great from check-in to check-out. We had an issue on the last morning of the breaker flipping. The manager was right there to help correct it. Our girls loved the pool. It was warm and that is how they like it. We would definately stay there again! Great experience.

Fun times

Our first time on a house boat. It was definitely an experience. The boat is bigger than it looks and the gentle rocking at night made for great sleep. Everything was great and we will definitely be back.

Rocking Relaxation

My whole family fell in love with the boat life experience:) Perfect size for family of 4 (15 and 13 year old kids) Was fun to meet new people who were also there on vacation and just hang around marina but also close enough to activities to make little day trips. Will be back!

Meh….

A cool experience being on a boat but a few issues. The twin beds were uncomfortable and there was only a stained covering on the couch pullout so was unusable. The extra sheets were only for the twin beds. The tv in the bedroom didn’t connect to Netflix or other streaming services and the wifi was pretty weak, when I texted the after hours number for advice they never responded. We also lost power simply cooking dinner on the hot plate. The surrounding area was pretty noisy and the other boats are very close so could hear people coming and going a lot. The deck on the back was relaxing for a coffee and a book in the morning or cocktail at night. The pool area was nice and pool was clean and refreshing. There was an entertainment spot near there that had live music on Wednesday nights.

Hi, Thanks for providing a review. I did come and help with the circuit breaker issue, which only really happens when a hair dryer is used. Other then that, we have not had any other guests have issues with the electrical on that houseboat. I will investigate with the maintenance engineer to see if we can reproduce the issue. The sheet set for the pull out sofa are located in the closet by the front sliding door. If the sheets were not the correct size, we would have been happy to supply you the correct size, had you notified the office. I will speak with housekeeping to make sure that all houseboats have the correct size linens for the pull out sofa. As far as the after hours number, you would need to CALL, as that phone is forwarded after hours. Text messaging is not implemented on the after hours phone, as it's mainly used for emergencies. I personally apologize if these items were not communicated to you upon check-in. I would like to offer you a FREE nights stay with us if you future plans have you in the Florida Keys. Situated on the waterfront, we are only 60 miles from Miami, 8 miles from Key Largo and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, 10 miles from Islamorada, the “Fishing Capitol of the US” and the Theater of the Sea Marine Mammal Park and scenic drive south on Overseas Hwy, 90 miles to Key West visiting the southernmost point of the US and the famous Duval Street and all of the activities.
