Tranquila y aislada casa de 3 dormitorios y 3 baños ubicada en la desembocadura del East River en Port Haywood (a pocas millas de la ciudad de Mathews). Observe las hermosas puestas de sol desde el patio trasero y el gran muelle privado. Pesque, cangreje o use el muelle flotante recién instalado para lanzar kayaks o tablas de paddleboard. Se requiere una estadía mínima de 2 noches.

La casa tiene 3 habitaciones (1 cama king, 1 cama queen y una doble con una cama nido), 3 baños completos. También hay un sofá cama en el estudio que se convierte en una cama doble. La casa duerme cómodamente seis (2 de los cuales deben ser niños en la cama nido doble). El sofá cama desplegable puede dormir 1-2 personas más, pero requerirá el uso de la sala de estar / familiar como dormitorio, lo que limitará el acceso al patio trasero.

Great location to unwind. Appreciate the ability to enjoy the water/sunset view from the screened porch, breakfast nook, and formal living room. This property also has an excellent dock for fishing and crabbing.Photos/descriptions are accurate and the house is well stocked and clean.Excellent experience working with the owner throughout from start to finish. Lovely visit!

Lee’s home is beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped. We loved our time watching birds and boats, talking, and relaxing. We were also able to visit and enjoy the nearby Bethel Beach Nature Preserve. Such a great respite in a serene location.

Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful.

We loved sitting on the screened-in porch seeing and hearing the birds. The woods are dense- tall pines and lots of undergrowth. The air is refreshing and when we stayed in July it was very warm and humid. Mathews county is quaint and homey- like going back in time. The house is in a quiet and somewhat remote location. Accommodations are comfortable and all rooms are on one floor. Definitely a place for relaxation!

Sunsets exactly as advertised!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun weekend. The house is clean and comfortable with amazing views of the river. We really appreciated that we weren't right on top of the neighbors. It made it feel very private. We spent our evenings out on the dock watching the phenomenal sunsets, laughing about the little crabs running around and watching the birds fly by. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Perfect River Spot

This was the second time we've stayed at this house, and once again, it was great. I even said to my wife that this would be the kind of house I'd buy if we got a river house. I can tell the owners have taken great care to make sure the space is clean and everything a guest needs is there.

Out of a dozen VRBO properties we have stayed at this property was equipped extremely well in the Kitchen & Bathrooms. Great views of the water. You could tell the owners really took care of the property and upgraded it.

Beautiful House, Better Host

The house was beautiful, with many activities to do around the house. The private pier was very nice, and the entire facility was splendid. Lee was a great host, and it was easy to communicate. We look forward to coming back sometime next year!

Best Relaxation ….

We’re a family of 5 adults and a toddler. Perfect place to disconnect from business of life. Home was clean, homey and well cared for in every area. Dock was great spot to watch beautiful sunsets, dolphins and fly a kite. Host was responsive and welcoming. Definitely a win.

Stunning, clean and comfortable property

My husband, myself and our 14 mo daughter recently spent three days at this house and had a fantastic time. As others have said, the place exceeded expectations. It was perfectly clean and well-appointed and served as a perfect base for us to explore the bay beaches nearby. We especially enjoyed time on the dock and screened porch, and had everything we needed. We would absolutely rent again if we are headed to the area!

Secluded bayside retreat

Lee Folsom's place on Mobjack bay was the perfect getaway location for enjoying the water, relaxing amid the pines, and soaking up the beauty of the surroundings. The house was very comfortable, spacious, and well-apportioned. The screened in porch was perfect for enjoying the summer evenings bug-free, while the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, as were the three bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we could have needed to cook, too. The property has a large lawn with nice grass in the rear facing the bay, while the dock was sturdy and perfect for sunbathing or reading waterside. Highly recommended---bring a kayak/canoe/etc. if you have one!

Best Birthday Getaway

A beautiful house on the East River in Port Haywood with the best sunsets you will ever have. Close proximity to the town of Mathews if you chose to eat out, but with a well stocked kitchen, peaceful surroundings, and the best views you may not want to leave. Great dock for launching your kayaks and again watching those magnificent sunsets. Highly, highly recommend. We will be back.

Spectacular View!

Spectacular view of the sunset!! Very quiet and relaxing stay. The house had all of the amenities you need and a wonderful screened in porch with a perfect view of the water! There was a great dock for fishing and crabbing too. Next time, I would be sure to bring my kayaks!

Pleasant stay!

Quiet home located on the water with beautiful views. Spectacular sunsets from the house and on the dock. The house has lots of windows, allowing for sun-filled rooms. Spacious common areas with 2 large living rooms and one dining room. Fully stocked kitchen with all the cookware, utensils, and appliances you need for any meal. The screened in porch was great for relaxing anytime of day as well as the Adirondack chairs on the dock. 3 full baths a definite plus. Outside is well lit, making you feel safe and comfortable. Host left area brochures and a bottle of Kendal Jackson chardonnay for our arrival- nice touch.

This home offers fantastic views of the Mobjack Bay at the mouth of the East River. In the evenings the patio, dock, and backyard are witness to some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. There are hawks, bald eagles, and ospreys that all nest nearby. Our guests and friends from all over the country have commented on our home's wonderful setting and how quiet and peaceful it is. In season, there are blue crabs galore, and fish in abundance. This is a wonderful place to simply relax.
