Outer Banks Must

Great location. Beach right in back yard, plenty of restaurants, and activities walking distance or short drive away. Perfect location. Toni was great, we had a minor issue with A/C first day and she got the repair man out that day to fix. Highly recommend this property

Excellent house and location

The house was immaculate and the location was perfect. The gazebo was perfect for sunrise, sunset and overall beach views. The ping pong table was perfect to spend time during a rain storm. Will definitely stay here again. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful with places to eat and things to do.

Lovely Week -- we will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful week at the Skeen's beautiful home. The house is adorable and had plenty of room for our group of 9. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the beds were very comfortable, and the master bedroom has a rain shower that was really neat. The sunrises and sunsets we saw from the top of the stairs leading to the beach were nothing like I've ever seen in my life. My boys loved the ping pong table, the bougie boards, and the hot tub! The adults loved to hot tub too. It was heaven to get into the nice hot tub after a day of playing in the waves. We did have to bring our own linens and towels, which was fine but some of our group forgot! Good thing there was a TJ Maxx about 3 minutes away where we were able to pick some up easily. It was nice being able to walk to get ice-cream at Booty Treats in the evenings also. Overall this was one of the best vacations our family has ever had. We will be back for sure!!

Great place for family getaway

Our family of 7 very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We especially enjoyed the outside area overlooking the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very clean. Recommend it very much!

Nice beachfront space

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was accurate and the property was well positioned both for beach access and for access in the community. It is close to everything. The house was surprisingly well stocked too.

The perfect getaway!

The house was beautiful and clean. It was in very close proximity to stores, good restaurants and fun things to do! Ocean front, very relaxing. Owner was very spontaneous to all needs.

Another wonderful vacation

We relaxed as soon as we walked in the door. From the soothing beachy palette of the main floor to the comfortable beds throughout, everything in this home is designed to let go and sink into vacation. (You can park your car when you arrive and not get back in it until it's time to go home.) We love the easy access to the beach. And when you're done with the sand and surf, it's a quick walk to dining, groceries, art and surf lessons! We can't wait to come back!

Great vacation in a wonderful home

We know the area well and really wanted to be ocean front -- so fortunate to find open dates at this wonderful beach home. Comfortable, charming and well supplied, we couldn't ask for more. Loved the easy access to the beach and the hot tub was so simple to use after long bike rides. Spent most of our time on the upper deck reading, chatting, watching the sunrise. Really hope to return in 2018.

Beautiful home in a fantastic location

This is a beautiful very well maintained home in a fantastic location. Great big driveway for kids to bike ride, lovely HUGE gazebo table for outdoor eating, easy walk to ice cream shops and a great restaurant. Super close to grocery stores. The owner of this property was very responsive every time we needed something. We really enjoyed our stay.

Unique and Beautiful!

Wow! Off season in Nags Head was the way to go! The Five Seasons is the development where this lovely house is located and from the minute you pull up, you know it is going to be great because of the unique green door! It leads in to a 3 level beautifully decorated home! The hot tub was perfect after a cold day of exploring the OBX. The gazebo is a great place to watch the sunrise and have an afternoon snack. The restaurants that were open in the off-season were perfect. Tortugas Lie was our favorite with Kill Devil Grill coming in close behind. Going at this time of year (late Oct) made us feel like one of the locals, who by the way were so welcoming. One local was even so gracious to tell us about her secret spot for shell hunting which paid off with some seriously large conch shells! Shell hunting wasn't easy but it was definitely worth the hunt! The OBX was beautiful from the most northern spot to the most southern spot (after the ferry ride).

Beautiful beach, weather, and house!

September is great time of year to be at beach if weather cooperates, which it certainly did for our week. Spacious beach at this house, even at high tide. Very large dune, but still had a view of the ocean from upstairs bedroom. House was in excellent condition with very nice and beachy décor. Hot tub was big hit for my wife and sister. Enjoyed the restaurants, with favorite being the Kill Devil Grill. There's a place across the street to rent kayaks. One of the highlights was taking a Hummer tour of the 4 wheel drive area up in Corolla and Cordova. Great way to spend a couple of hours at the end of the day.
