We were very happy with Mary Ann's place and would definitely return. The location was fantastic in terms of access to the beach, many nearby amenities, and ease of getting on and off the island.

Fantastic family vacation

Location was awesome.. we enjoyed walking down to the bay daily for sunsets and the bay beach. Maryann was so wonderful to us, our kids, and our dog! We stayed on the first floor- it was super clean and we had everything we needed.

Great little spot.

We had a great week. House is one minute walk to bay "beach" and park, 5 minute walk to beach. Fun Waterpark and shopping on the island and host was very nice and great communicator!

Great Stay on LBI

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location on the island. It is in easy walking distance of a bunch of restaurants, right next to Bay Beach and of course just a few blocks from the main beach. The house itself was really clean and comfortable, and we loved being able to have our dog with us on vacation. Mary Ann did a great job hosting, and was even kind enough to provide beach badges for Surf City. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely home steps from the Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach bungalow in Surf City. We were steps away from the bay where we enjoyed daily sunsets. You could walk to the beach, but we drove most days rather than lugging everything on the three block walk. Great central location, and we will certainly return to rent here again.

Perfect Beach Getaway!!!

My family and I had an amazing time!!! The property isn’t fancy, but it was very clean and in a great location (1/2 block from the Bay and approximately 5 short blocks from the beach), plus it was close to shops. Mary Ann was so friendly and accommodating, she truly made us feel right at home. It was a perfect beach getaway and we will definitely be back again soon!

Perfect weather

The property was very clean and well kept. The property manager Mary Ann was great to work with, always responded quickly. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Would recommend this location to anyone whom enjoys walking, biking ,watching the sunset and just having a wonderful time

Relaxing!

Maryann, the owner, is wonderful. Very nice and personable. She was there to meet us. The rental had everything we needed and a couple of minute walk to the bay beach and walking distance to stores as well. She was kind enough to allow us to bring our dog which we appreciated as well. We will definitely be back!!!

Great stay!

Clean, comfortable, great location, very dog friendly. Basic but had everything we needed. Owner is very nice and responsive. Nice outdoor shower and plenty of parking. Furniture and beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed being close to the bay beach for watching sunsets and also to the beach just a few blocks away. We enjoyed being able to walk to the bagel shop, Rita’s, Wally’s, and Swell Glass Studio for a fun workshop. Overall we had a great stay & will definitely come back.

Ideal Location

We stayed over the Memorial Day weekend with our son and dog. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very close to places to eat and shop, all walking distance. The beach is a short, easy walk down the street. Loved having an outdoor shower. House is very clean. Great neighborhood to walk our dog. Easy on/off the island. Maryann was super kind and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Very Relaxing!!

MaryAnn was very welcoming upon arrival at the property. She was easy to contact with questions both before and during our stay. The unit was very clean and smelled freshly disinfected when we arrived. As other reviewers have mentioned it is a basic unit with no frills, but the location is super convenient and really allows you to relax - which is exactly what we were looking for. Because of COVID we had to supply all linens including pillows, but that was well communicated prior to the stay and okay with us since we knew what we brought was safe! Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away, relax and unwind.

Delightful Owners

The price was right for what you get. The location is less than ideal if you're a beach person. If swimming in the Bay is your thing, then the location is perfect. We had to drive umbrellas, chairs, cooler etc. up to the beach, unload them, and then return the car to the house. As to the house itself, it needs updating - probably built in the 50's - but they seem to be working on that, new floors, nice stove, counter top and kitchen sink, new pots and pans. But a lot was only average - furniture, beds, etc. All in all a nice place for a vacation for a reasonable price, and as the review title says, the owner and her sister are more than willing to help.

Great Getaway

We had a great experience here. The house is in a great location. It is less than 1 block from the bay and a few blocks from the beach. It is also walkable to restaurants and shops. The owner is fantastic and was easily accessible throughout the entire process for any questions or concerns. It was really clean when we arrived and it is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog and he loved it too. :)
