Due to the hurricane damage on Sanibel island, our family was forced to find a new spring break vacation spot. After almost 40 years, we were skeptical about choosing Pensecola Beach. However, never say never!
To begin with, the home itself was amazing! I felt that the premises were very well represented by the pictures on VRBO. There were no surprises, except for the fact that the home was actually more beautiful than represented. It was also extremely functional. It was ideal for our family of 10.
There was plenty of room for family fun, as well as individual privacy. The outside facilities were just as welcoming. The basketball court, decking, pool, and dock, provided a playground for all of the kids. And don’t forget the beaches, both large and small. We very much enjoyed being on the sound side. When we wanted the surf and waves, the ocean was only four blocks away. With the beach cart provided, it was an easy walk.
We found Pensacola Beach,, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola to be extremely welcoming. There were lots of things to do for everyone. Don’t miss the Blue Angel practices! The restaurants satisfied everyone’s tastes, and the amusement areas kept the kids busy.
I can’t say enough about our hosts Ashley and Brian. We had no major problems with the house. Our questions were promptly answered. They truly represented southern hospitality.
