El retiro es un lindo 2 dormitorio / 2 baño unidad que está situado a sólo una cuadra de la hermosa océano Pacífico. La unidad es parte de un tranquilo complejo de 3 unidades que promueve un entorno tranquilo y silencioso. El edificio es una de las últimas estructuras originales de pie de 1954 y tiene una sensación encantadora, ya que está ubicado frente a un árbol de aguacate de 80 años de edad y varias cepas de bambú y otras zonas verdes. Fuera de la parte trasera puertas francesas doble es una pintoresca pequeña zona privada con una pequeña mesa y barbacoa bajo una pérgola. Tenga en cuenta que esta unidad es parte de un complejo de varias unidades y tiene una restricción de ruido de 10 PM-7AM en su lugar. No se permiten fiestas fuertes y / o reuniones en el lugar. Los padres por favor no permitan que los niños corran y gritan dentro o fuera de las unidades, ya que esto crea disturbios a los inquilinos a tiempo completo que viven en el lugar. Gracias.

Awesome experience!

We truly enjoyed our stay, the location is ideal for beach access, shops and restaurants. The place was quiet and comfortable. The back patio area is relaxing! We will be back. We highly recommend this location!!

Old house

I want to begin by saying the property owner, Tony, was very accommodating once I expressed my disappointment in the house. Even considering that it is an old place, it was not very clean, the beds were not comfortable, and the bedrooms smelled like mildew or mold. Also, the sliding door in guest room didn’t open. The location is awesome if you don’t mind an old property and beds that are not comfortable and the smell.

Weekend Stay

Upon booking this property, the rules are stated very clear to not be loud after 10:00pm, it is repeated several times through the booking process not to make any noise past 10:00pm as there are people who live in the floor above the rental. It goes as far as saying, "if you make noise past 10:00pm, the owner will find out and your deposit will be forfeited." I made sure our group was in bed, lights were off and noise level was at zero as a courteous to the upstairs residence. What was absolutely amazing was how loud the upstairs neighbors were well after 10:00pm. Our group was up until midnight trying to fall asleep. All we can hear through the night were foots steps, coughing, talking, toilets flushing, etc. I would recommend to the owner to lax the rules of your rental, or get your upstairs residences to get in line with your policies. The house itself is a bit old and ran down, mattresses are old and wore out and very uncomfortable. With all that said, the location was amazing, one block from the beach.

Great for families or small groups that want to visit the beach

Great for families or small groups that want to visit the beach. Our family of four really enjoyed staying here, as there were three different rooms to sleep in and lots of TVs to entertain with. It is also just a literal three minute walk to the beautiful beach and cute little beachfront businesses. Would definitely stay here again, the communication from the owner was exceptional.

Few minor quips but overall loved it here!

This place is wonderful all around. Great neighborhood and location. The only issues I had with it were 1) it’s the downstairs section of the unit so the people who had the top can be heard walking around and they woke up pretty early, around 7am, and started running around and we could hear their footsteps so it made it difficult to sleep in. I think they had younger kids because they were pretty active moving around. 2) the couch was pretty small and uncomfortable for sitting and watching a movie at night. 3) access to the hot tub on the property would’ve been nice but it was locked. 4) there was construction going on and they were also making noise on the house next door pretty early in the morning. Other than that, loved being able to walk to the beach and being near the shops and restaurants. Loved the layout of the unit and the room accommodations. Loved the fact there is two bathrooms, everything was clean and the water was hot and relaxing. Nice little kitchen and kitchen area for meals when you don’t want to eat out. Felt very cozy here overall. Also loved the back deck but on one day the gardener showed up and we couldn’t sit out back and enjoy that space while he was there.

Love this Spot !

Our family of four (16 and 14 yr old) and my wife had a great time in this house. It was just as listed. Very clean, and plenty of room. The location is excellent! Walk to beach, dinner, golf and winetasting! The place is a older home and has that perfect beachy feel. The very private deck is super green and inviting. You can hear the ocean. Tony was great in communications, any random questions he answered right away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent Property

I stayed here with my family for the 4th of July weekend. The property was great. It's a nice little 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. The unit itself was small, but it felt comfortable for 6 people. There's a small room/den area that has a comfortable futon along w/ the two rooms listed in the details. The house comes w/ a lot of amenities...pots/pans, dishes, coffee maker, and toaster. Towels and small travel size toiletries were also provided. The only hassle to the unit was that it was downstairs so you have to walk past a narrow gate and narrow set of stairs to the enclosed patio area where the front door is. Aside from it being narrow, there were any real issues. The pathway was well lit w/ motion detecting lights. The patio area is also private so we were able to store our cooler and beach toys there to avoid getting the house dirty. The property is a very short walk from the beach and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place.
