Everything was perfect. The place was much better in person. Kate was a wonderful host. She attended to our every need -one of our best vacations ever and exactly what was described on VRBO. I would totally recommend it again. Can’t wait to go back if it’s available in the future.

The Trip of a Lifetime

This property is the ULTIMATE place to stay if you're looking for both a relaxing and fun Florida getaway. The location is unreal! With the ocean a 1 minute walk away, and dozens of amazing restaurants/bars within walking distance, you couldn't ask for more! The property itself is stunning. It's by far the cleanest place I've ever stayed. The pool was really nice for a dip at any point in the day and the porch served as a great place to cool off and sip some coffee. The kitchen is gorgeous and had plenty of space for when my family and I wanted to chef up some yummy food, we had a great taco Tuesday. The check in process and the host was outstanding, the most seamless, process i've ever been through. And the host is absolutely incredible, she responded quickly and answered any questions we had. I am seriously impressed with this property and can't wait until my family and I stay there again. Thank you for creating such an incredible place to stay while on vacation.

Sipsip Cottage

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage is incredibly cute & well maintained, with a perfect location right off the beach. Private salt water pool in the well landscaped backyard is an added plus. One block from Atlantic Avenue, with an easy walk to restaurants & shops. The owner is very responsive & helpful. I highly recommend this property for any small group or family looking for great Delray Beach vacation.

Perfect Cottage -Ideal Location

We have a wonderful stay at the Sip Sip Cottage in early February and the space and location could not have been better! The house worked really well for both a small family and a couple friends and I was fortunate to have both at different times. We took advantage of long walks, amazing restaurants, fun shops, the Del Ray tennis tournament, Palm Beach, putt putt golf, among other activities. There was no shortage of things to do and 90% of the time we walked. Proximity to everything meant the group could venture out on their own to town or the beach without worrying about parking or transit. The home was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed including beach chairs, towells and umbrellas, cozy reading spots, well equipt kitchen, a gorgeous patio and pool to relax by end of day, and private, quiet bedrooms. The owner was incredible responsive and checked in regularly. We only had one issue -the battery went dead on the lock- and this was remedied immediately. I could not recommend this home more. It is a secret little haven in the heart of Del Ray and I definately want to come back!

We LOVED Sip Sip Cottage

This was a fantastic VRBO experience. The owner of the home, Kate, is amazing! She went out of her way to make sure the cottage was all set with Thanksgiving supplies, recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby, and provided an immaculate home. The pictures do not do this cottage justice! It is more spacious than it appears, and the location is outstanding. A very short walk (yes, you can do this in heels) to restaurants and shopping. The Snappy Turtle is practically behind the cottage. The beach is even closer. We didn’t even bother with shoes or cover-ups, just walked down with a towel. The pool at the cottage is very private surrounded by beautiful palms, and so many butterflies. I highly recommend Sip Sip Cottage and we cannot wait to return.

Beach beauty

Location cannot be better, 1000 feet to beach and walkable to many great restaurants but without the noise/traffic. There is new construction across the street but not too loud. House is very comfortable and pool was wonderful. The front porch is its own living space which had much usage. Host is great to deal with, bathrooms are stocked with necessities, plenty of beach towels. Be sure to say ‘Hello’ to the parrot next door -assume a parrot as we never saw it but talked each afternoon.

Perfect stay in Delray!

The house, property, location and owner were fantastic. The proximity to the beach, wonderful pool and fully equipped kitchen were better than expected. The owner couldn’t have been nicer. My family loved it & we would definitely stay here again.

I will miss you, Sip Sip

How much do I love you? Let me count the many ways….Your clean, fully equipped kitchen with an ice maker. Your kitchen door to easily unload groceries from my car. Another door to take my sandwich and drink by the heated pool. Four comfy lounge chair with soft cushions, pillows and two large umbrellas. Your beautiful tile floors. The sitting area near French doors overlooking the pool. The recliner to prop up my feet and drift away into a movie. Your two bathrooms with glass shower doors. How have you kept yourself so perfect with your cottage imperfections? Your master bedroom, well lit, when I opened the blinds after sleeping deeply amongst the sea breeze. But mostly the tiled lemonade front porch granting you the name sip sip. I sat comfortably looking at my sea glass and shells. So close to the beach. Eating my fresh sea fish dinner at the table in the corner. Sipping my coffee, my last morning with you, I sadly say goodbye. Until next time, Sip Sip…

Great week at "Sip-Sip" House!

We stayed at "Sip-Sip" house for the Thanksgiving week. There were 5 of us, our family which includes 2 teenage girls, and my wife's mother. The space was the perfect size for our group. The check-in process was probably the easiest of places we have stayed. We have been at 4 different homes within a few blocks of here during the same week over the past 4 years. This one had the best space *with* an excellent heated outdoor pool and lounge chairs. Very comfortable for lounging! Often these spaces are not well maintained, but this one was great. Everything was very clean, organized and well thought out in advance. Owners were very responsive to any inquiries or issues. The location can't be beat if you are heading to Delray-- 1/2 block to the beach, and one block to Atlantic Ave. If you forget your sunglasses when you get to the beach, no sweat, 10 min walk round trip! Would come back again for sure.

One word…perfect.

This was our first time staying at” Sip Sip” cottage. Registration was smooth, with quick responses to our questions. Kate, the owner, is impeccable from registration to check out. She makes her self accessible , although we didn’t need anything on our stay. The cottage is maintained beautifully. We did not feel like we were in a rental property. Everything is there that you could possible need. Kate goes way above and beyond any other rental we have been to. The pool is a great feature, although the ocean is just a couple cottages away! Location just couldn’t be better. This is a quiet neighborhood, yet you can walk downtown Delray in just minutes! Downtown has great restaurants and shops. This was our absolute favorite stay! See you next year Sip Sip!

A Delray Gem

This house is a gem! It was charming and clean with an idyllic front porch we ate breakfast on every morning and a backyard that felt like a private oasis. We have always loved visiting Delray but staying at this home made it so much more special. The location is amazing and we walked everywhere. Kate was absolutely delightful and kind. It's clear her and her husband adore the property and rightfully so! Our family is hoping to come back every year!

Perfect Getaway!!

The experience of staying here begins as soon as you pull into the driveway. This is the second time my family has stayed here, and it was just as perfect as the first. We spent every morning sitting on the front porch eating breakfast and enjoying the weather. The convenience of being able to get from the privacy of the pool to the beach in just a couple minutes serves as the perfect contrast. As if the location couldn’t get any better, we made sure to take advantage of the luxury of being so close yet perfectly distanced from the buzz of Atlantic Ave. Not to mention, Kate is one of the nicest, most hospitable people you will ever meet. Her willingness to ensure the comfortability of her guests is excellent. Everything you could possibly want during a family vacation—Sip Sip has it.

Perfect VRBO experience!

I would rate this home higher than 5 stars if I could. From start to finish the owner was awesome, we had bubbly waiting when we arrived along with a personal welcome note, music playing, it even smelled great! The beds we used were comfortable, the decor was beach-y chic and the pool was nice when we wanted more privacy than the beach. The beach is literally steps away, there are chairs, umbrellas and beach towels that we enjoyed. The best part besides the beach access is the walkable location to all the bars, restaurants and shops in Delray. It’s perfect for a couple or a small friends/family group.

Great experience

The property was just as advertised. Kate was a terrific host. Very responsive and willing to do almost anything to make our trip great. Kate took care of everything even down to the small details. It was a perfect getaway for our family of four. Loved the location to the beach and Atlantic Avenue shops and restaurants. Can't wait to return!

Miramar Drive is unrivaled for vacationers seeking the best of relaxing on the beach and having a blast on Atlantic Avenue. The cottage is located one block to happening Atlantic Avenue and a couple steps to the gorgeous blue ocean. Sip Sip is what a beach cottage should be, peaceful, charming, and relaxing. Pool is heated, ultra private and sunny. Sitting out on the front "Lemonade porch" at night with a glass of wine, it's true perfection.

Location, location, and location. You simply will not find a better situated rental in Delray Beach. Car is optional but unnecessary.
