Pros and Cons - mostly cons

I'll start with the Pros: LOCATION is fantastic - walkable to coligny plaza/tiki hut etc - and oceanfront. Really great location. View is fantastic. Beds were super comfortable. Cons: This unit needs work - there were SO many things either already broken or falling apart. The bunk room closet door was just sitting beside the closet - not even attached. Towel racks broken and just sitting on the counter or under the sink. Curtain rod for the balcony door hanging by a thread. Oven drawer hanging off. My biggest complaint: We were told there were no beach chairs/wagon etc - to bring our own. So we rented chairs which was fine. But in the 2nd master - the entire closet is FULL of chairs/umbrellas/beach wagon/beach toys etc - ALL COVERED IN SAND. Disgusting that this is the closet that we are supposed to use for our clothing? It's really disgusting. My biggest disappointment is that my husband sent an email with pictures of all of these things on the day after we arrived. NO RESPONSE. Then I emailed The GM directly the day after we returned - and we still haven't received a response. All of our concerns could have been simply addressed with a response - but the complete disregard of these issues is really disappointing.

Good

The location is great! We walked to dinner and shopping, and we loved that! The beach access and pool area were also top notch! Check in and check out was very easy. The condo needs some attention to minor details. The curtain rod and a couple bathroom rods were falling out of the wall. Maintenance did come and fix them. There were stains on the couch decorative pillowS and the carpet needs replaced.

Beautiful view

The view was gorgeous and the location is nice and convenient right by Coligny. The pool was very clean and a nice size. The bedrooms were updated and clean but the kitchen and bathrooms are very outdated and are in desperate need of updating.

Fantastic Mom’s Weekend!

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. We love the location, it’s super easy to get to shops and restaurants, the beach is right there and the pool and hot tub are great. The condo itself is big and spacious. The host communicated great through text, which I prefer. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a fantastic time! We will definitely be back!

Condo

The condo location was great!! Beautiful oceanfront views. The pool was wonderful. The layout of the condo and furnishings were very nice. The only problem we had was that the elevator was under construction and not working the whole time we were there.And we were on the 4th floor!! So 7 sets of steps were not pleasant moving in and on a daily basis several times a day.. which made it hard for some of my family members with back, knee and hips issues.. Some kind of adjustment would be appreciated with the amount that was paid. We were in unit 412.. Thank you!

Perfect Balcony

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here in late July and enjoyed it so much that we returned in early September. It was a perfect long weekend stay. The villa was large enough to spread out and roomy enough to gather together. The most important feature for us was a balcony with an oceanfront view and large enough for the 6 of us, and this one was perfect. Access to the beach was easy with a very short walk through the soft sand. We really appreciated the HHI free trolley (golf cart) rides to nearby restaurants and shops. Our driver, Mike, was very helpful. We had a wonderful visit.

Comfortable Space and Perfect Location

This was a very comfortable place to stay. As a multi-generational family of 9, we had room to gather together and spread out. The location was perfect. We walked for lunch and ice cream and had a short drive for dinner. The view of the beach and pool was perfect. We were very pleased with our experience.

Perfect for families!

The location of this condo was absolutely perfect! Front row views of the pool and beach, right next to Coligny beach and plaza. We were at the most 20 min from all of the dining ppaces we tried all of the island. The only very minor thing that was difficult for us was figuring the tvs out. It seemed the buttons didnt work for some things and we werent able to log into our streaming services. We ended up using our Roku stick. Other than that, perfect place and we cant wait to come back!

Hilton Head Island Vacation

My husband & I booked this trip for my parents & I, my parents came from Virginia, my hubs & I from Oregon. The property and condo were clean. The corner unit is nice, you get oceanfront views and the pool views. Huge downfall, the pool was closed almost our whole stay do you reconverting, we wouldn’t have booked this place had we known the pool wouldn’t be available. Great location to all things beach and Hilton Head. The property management gave us free bike rentals for the days the pool was closed. We were on the 4th floor and on Tuesday started hearing what sounded like chiseling tiles above. Then Thursday the chiseling turned into drilling the floors, starting at 8:30 am waking everyone in our 3 bedroom condo up. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. Kinda ruin the trip… the management refunded us 2 nights.

Good unit but stressful checkout

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was great, but we were asked to be out and do several chores by 10:00am on the day of checkout. That was very difficult with 2 small children, and the list of chores was longer than other places we have stayed. When we asked about late checkout, we were told we could purchase it for $100 per hour. We did not see this information until after we had booked and would be subject to cancellation fees. The night before and day we left were very stressful as a result of these policies. It was also unreasonable that they would charge a minimum of $500 if they decided we did not clean to their standards when we left.

Location!!!

Location was perfect! Views were outstanding. Condo, was clean however very outdated and could use a little work for the money. There was plenty of parking, but if you had more than two cars they were not able to accommodate you; we had two daughters join us from different states and needed three parking passes and they wouldn’t budge… bring your own washcloths and trash bags! Overall I would stay there again because no where is perfect and it was a lovely place! Staff was quick to respond and provide necessary items.

Family vacation

The resort was outstanding, close to everything and the beach. Now the room had an excellent view of the pool and beach. It was very outdated by at least 10-15 years on everything and especially the mirrored wall in the dining area. Really disappointing for the money we spent the owner has not taken more pride in what could be an outstanding experience for everyone to enjoy!

Everything you need is in walking distance. We were only there to enjoy the beach and be together. We did go out to eat several times and we walked each time. We had a great time!
