We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was wonderful and beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Great view of the ocean and close to everything. The only thing I would recommend is to update the sleeper sofa mattress it’s very uncomfortable for a child and no way an adult would be able to sleep on it. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!

We enjoyed our week long vacation in this condo. We picked this condo over others because of the heated pool which is a must this time of year. We have two young kids and without a heated pool the water would have been too cold. Some of the things we loved about this condo were the location, tile and hardwood flooring, and the master shower. Overall, this condo served us well, but it could use some updates in certain areas, like the outdoor lounge chairs and some of the kitchen appliances and cookware. The colors on the furniture and walls were a bit dark for my taste and the master bed is really high off the ground, but everything was clean and functional. For the price it was a good deal and I would recommend it to anyone coming to vacation in Hilton Head.

We'll Be Back!

We just returned from our one week vacation at Hilton Head. This is our second time staying in the Palmetto Dunes area, but our first time staying in Barrington Arms. This condo is nicely situated away from the elevator and on an end unit. You have the beach and pool views without the pool noise. The heated pool at Barrington Arms was a must this time of year for our young kids. The condo was very clean and had nice furnishings. The condo was spacious enough for our family of four, but any more than that and I think it would feel cramped. The bedrooms had armoires instead of dressers so there was not much space for storing clothes, other than hanging them in the closets. However, this was not a problem for us as we kept our clothes in our suitcases. They do provide a good amount of towels and toilet paper in each bathroom and the beds and linens are comfortable. Some of the things we loved about this condo were the master shower, the views to the pool and ocean, the convenience of the keyless entry, and the quiet location. However, it could use some minor improvements. The master bed was really high off the ground, lowering it to standard height would be nice. The lounger seats in the balcony looked dated. The kitchen doesn't have much cabinet space so the counter tops got a little crowded with the food we brought. The kitchen comes equipped with one roll of paper towel, a starter set of dishwashing liquid and detergent, and a few trash bags. It has most appliances (coffee maker, toaster, blender) and has basic kitchen equipment and tools, but had only a tiny cutting board. The cookware is functional, but could be better. If you plan on cooking be prepared to bring or buy everything you need because you won't find more than a salt and pepper shaker here. Don't know why but we could never keep the temperature in the condo at a good setting. It was either too cold or too stuffy, but it was never bad enough to call in about it. Having said all this, this condo is really a good deal for the price and centrally located to most of the action in HHI. Some places we enjoyed and recommend are: Pino Gelato, Lawton Stables, Adventure Cove Arcades and Putt Putt, The French Bakery, and Poseidon Restaurant at Shelter Cove Towne Center. Also highly recommend renting some bikes for the week at Palmetto Dunes Outfitters to tour the island.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I had an amazing time in Hilton Head - and this condo could not have been more perfect for us! The property is peaceful and beautiful. The condo is decorated beautifully, and view of the lagoon, pool and ocean from the balcony are wonderful. We were a bit worried about the location of the unit, as we typically only rent on the higher floors, but it was absolutely perfect! Any higher up and the setting would have been ruined. We had a straight on view and were surrounded by beautiful grounds. The pictures just do not do this condo justice! We will most certainly be back and look forward to becoming repeat renters for years to come. Bob and Kathy are very gracious to work with and super responsive. Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us!

Wonderful Experience

The condo and view were excellent. The condo was nicely decorated and very much like home. We were only steps from the beautiful heated pool and beach. If you are a morning person all is well but if you like to sleep in the noise starts at 8:00 am. Lawn maintenance every morning we were there. Other then that excellent location and facilities.

Beautiful Condo!

We have been visiting Hilton Head for years but this was our first year in a condo. We couldn't have picked a better condo! So clean and comfortable...felt like we were home. The pool was awesome and so close to the beach. We will definitely choose this condo next time we are in Hilton Head!

Great vacation!

This is our 9th year in a row coming to Hilton Head Palmetto Dunes. This by far is the best property we have ever stayed at which is why we continue to stay here. Great location and great décor makes this like staying at home...except on the beach! Love the recent upgrades especially in the kitchen!

Right on the Beach”

Excellent condo that is just as described. All rooms were clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the 3 head, glass enclosed master bathroom shower was VERY relaxing. The complex grounds and pool were very nice. The boardwalk and beach are steps away. The beach was empty compared complexes to the north and south of Barrington Arms. We would definitely stay at 201 again if on Hilton Head.

Great condo!

This property is well appointed and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable and baths beautiful. The view is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are beautiful as well, with ponds and beautiful flowers. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Vacation Accomodations

The villa provides all that is needed for a wonderfully restful and relaxing beach vacation. A large and well-furnished deck, immaculately clean and comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen provided all that we needed for two weeks of casual island living. The beach at this location is great and the grounds and pool are beautifully maintained adding to a wonderful overall experience. We look forward to a return trip.

Wonderful stay in this villa!

Our family spent Thanksgiving week here and we loved it! The villa was outstanding in every way - upscale furnishings, comfortable beds, wireless internet, three flat screen TV's, washer and dryer, completely furnished kitchen, large deck with very nice furniture, and a fantastic master bath. The view was beautiful and we were steps from the pool and beach. We would most definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay !

Just returned from two weeks in this condo and it's gorgeous! Furnishings are even nicer than they appear in the photos and there are lots of nice touches - like great balcony furniture (two loungers and a table with four chairs), comfortable beds, the awesome shower in the master bath, a nicely equipped kitchen, fun barware and three HD flat screen tvs. One minor maintenance issue was resolved in an hour and the condo was immaculately clean when we arrived. Nice pool area and a 2 minute walk to the beach.
