Bright and spacious views of the Atlantic are available from the master bedroom and living areas. The complex has gas grills adjacent to the pool deck as an added amenity. Ocean One is conveniently located on the Island's famous south end and an easy walk to Coligny Plaza and the shops and restaurants on Pope Avenue.

A fall escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years, usually during the winter months. And, on most of those occasions, we have rented a condo at Ocean One. #207 was a comfortable, generally well-appointed 2-bedroom condo facing the ocean. However, maintenance work on the outside of the complex restricted our ability to use the decks during the majority of our stay. As my wife and I are both nearing 80, and have difficulty walking distances, having restricted access to the decks was unfortunate. Although Seashore made us aware of the work being done on the building, and did give a slight pricing discount, we were surprised by how restrictive this work on our use and enjoyment of the condo.

Disappointing Rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th visit to Ocean One and we love everything about the complex and location. We were very disappointed in the condo. Although the living room and dining room furniture was updated the rest of the condo really needs some money put into it. Master bedroom bed is extremely uncomfortable and low to the ground. Master bathroom desperately needs to be updated. Comforters are old and need to be replaced.Kitchen was the most disappointing- rugs were dirty. Kitchen was not stocked AT ALL! Everything was old, plates were chipped, pans need to be replaced. Putting some money into this place would really go a long way. We would not rent this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: The facility itself is very nice and well kept however as for the Condo the toaster only toasts one side as one set of elements are broken, the dryer function select knob is broken and it is hard to tell which function you are selecting, the filtered water dispenser does not work, the bed pillows have no pillowcases and are dirty, the first bed in the second bedroom is not secured to the base and tips if sat on and the master bed is worn out, hard and very uncomfortable. Quick/Easy walk to elevator, stairs, parking lot, beach, pool, restaurants & shops. Master bed mattress was old and hard. Pillows smelly, bedspread old and musty. Could not get master bedroom TV to work. Tile floors were not swept, had hairs on them.

Great rental!!

An amazing location!!! Shopping and restaurants close, fantastic beach access and very nice pool. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade the mattresses, too stiff.

Nice family stay!

The view of the pool and ocean from the condo is wonderful, as is the short walk to both. Wi-if was great, very clean place. It def has an 80s vibe which is fun, however, with some updates this condo could be beautiful! Our only concern was the elevator, it nearly broke while we were on it and unfortunately the fam after us wasn’t so lucky. The jaws of life had to be used to get them out. I’m told this elevator is constantly in need of updates by the residents who live there. I hope it’s fully repaired soon.

Great location. With minimal investment in the condo, this could be a 5 star unit.

The location on HH is perfect for a family. The unit looks out over the ocean, and because of its location in the building you also look over the pool, but it is not front and center. The Tiki hut is next to the resort, so live music is ever present through the evening if you sit on the balcony. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We had a very good experience, however a few thousand dollars to upgrade the condo would make it a 5 star destination for families and would likely keep it booked non stop. I would recommend all new paint. Remove the old smelly carpet and replace with a hard surface like luxury vinyl flooring. New dishes and flatware instead of the mismatched and chipped dinnerware. And all new mattresses. The unit was not properly deep cleaned… and I will leave it at that. However…. This was all an acceptable trade off for the location and the view of the ocean from the balconies each morning.

Great location

This was the perfect spot for our group close to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, we could walk to it all in 8 minutes. Rented bikes and did trails near by just perfect and the weather was awesome.

Perfect October Stay - 2021

Centrally located to various restaurants and grocery stores. Plus, the biking trail is conveniently located right out front! . . The only downside with Unit 207 is that the bedding mattress in the main bedroom needs (really needs) to be changed out due to being severely worn down!!
