ISLA DE LA CABEZA DE HILTON. Se trata de un complejo de villas océano que es sólo un corto paseo de la playa. Las puertas corredizas de vidrio en el salón y el dormitorio principal se abren a las cubiertas que ofrecen vistas laguna o boscosas. Los amarres, situado junto al Hotel Marriott, tiene una piscina privada y está cerca de las instalaciones de tenis y golf.

Esta villa de dos dormitorios cerca del océano es perfecto para su próxima escapada a Hilton Head Island. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6, y la cocina está totalmente equipada para satisfacer sus necesidades de cocción. Relaxing Week

Convenient access to the beach, and proximity to the Palmetto Dunes General Store. Everything works as it should, though TV’s could stand an upgrade. Unit was clean upon arrival. The covered deck (1st story unit) combined with the surrounding trees provided a shaded place to hang out.

Location is best asset

This property has some pros and cons. On the positive side, it is a short walk to the beach and Dunes house. The condo is spacious and is well-suited to give privacy among families staying there. There are three full baths which is very convenient. The living space and kitchen are fine. On the con side, the carpet in the bedrooms is very worn and stained which gives the appearance that is unclean. The bathrooms are in need of updating. We had some issues with cleanliness that the rental agency assisted with. We were a bit disappointed upon check-in so I only post this so others will know what to expect as these issues may not bother everyone.

Unit gives is old looking and dirty. It has not been updated in years.

The unit is very old. It has not been updated in YEARS. The bathrooms have old counters (70's type), bathroom floors had dirty grout, curtains are old and dirty, old furniture, vents are dusty, unit smells musty, water smelled, rug in main living area is curled at the corners causing a dangerous tripping problem. I know because we both tripped on it. I can go on but it does not reflect very well for VBRO. I had relatives in another unit and it was night and day between both units. They had new furniture, clean tile, etc. I spent a lot of money for this unit and expected new and clean.

The condo was great! The size was very impressive. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, showers were good. Plenty of towels and such. Noting to bring DVDs and Roku or Firestick etc for movie night is a good idea.

Moorings 11-16 to walking distance to the beach. I have 3 complaints. All of the flores were rather nasty. I like to go bare footed and after walking on the floors, my feet were black from filth. The lights above the stove were out. Very much needed. I had an accident while there. I was pouring tea into a tea glass and spilled a half a pitcher on the floor. I slipped and fell leaving me with a bruised knee and back injuries. Dr visit yesterday revealed I had muscle spasms and sprains as well. Dr gave me a muscle relaxer. After a week, still hurting. The floors after spilling the tea, were very slippery. I left a day early to go home on Friday.

Nice condo close to the beach

Very nice clean stylish condo few minutes from the beach. In this covid time, the manager sent us the car passes to the home address before arrival, so we did not need to meet anyone in person to check in. Additional info was on app.

I love this place. I’ve stayed there twice, once in 2015 and now again for almost all of March 2018. It is very roomy with two large, well-maintained bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are three bathrooms! Certainly, the condo is big enough for a large family. The condo is a short walk to the beautiful HHI beach, where one can sunbathe, read, jog, ride a bicycle (with respect to the last two activities, the beach sand is firm, perfect for jogging and bicycling). Supermarkets (Kroger’s, Whole Foods, The Fresh Market) and many, many restaurants are nearby. Camille, the owner, is wonderful to deal with. On my most recent stay, initially there was a problem with the d/w, which got replaced almost immediately, and despite my protestations that it wasn’t necessary, she insisted on refunding me $100 for the few days I didn’t have a dishwasher!! Island Getaway, her agent on HHI, is also very responsive to any issues you might have while staying in the condo. Overall, a wonderful experience!

April 2019 Stay

There were only two of us for the majority of the stay so there was plenty of room. We had some friends stay one night with us and they loved that they had their own separate area. Everything was clean and in working order. It was great having the washer dryer and the king bed. It was nice that they had a box fan because there were no ceiling fans and we are used to moving air in the bedroom for sleep. The only thing that was confusing for me was the check in process. Our parking passes weren’t sent in the mail to us before we came, so we needed to check in at the island getaway office instead of going straight to the condo. I felt that they should have better informed us of this process instead of the app saying you could just go straight to the condo. Other than that, great location close to beach, shopping and restraunts.

Nice place; close to the beach.

The only trouble we had was finding the place upon arriving. The address given takes you to someone else’s beach house. Look for the unit that states 11-12 on the door. The place was great for a family of four (it sleeps more than that) and accommodated a large dinner with relatives that were staying in HHI too. We would definitely stay here again.
