Another great stay!

This was our second year staying at the property after the holidays. The house and location are perfect for our group (4 adults and 1 child). Also, Mark was incredibly responsive when we had questions. We had a truly relaxing stay and look forward to coming back!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at the property over the holidays and had a wonderful time. It is in a perfect location---couldn't be closer to the beach and just a short walk to the park and into town. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We look forward to coming back!

Perfect beach house in Del Mar

It was our 3rd stay and the house is perfect. It is clean and in a great location. Half a block to the beach and few blocks to restaurants. The owners care for the property well and are easy to contact.

A relaxing beach escape

We have stayed in Del Mar for many summers and this is our favorite property. The home is beautifully updated and the location can’t be beat. It’s steps away from the beach and shops and restaurants in Del Mar village.

Our Favorite Place!

We have stayed at this home multiple times, and we just keep coming back because it is a wonderful home in an amazing location! The home has all you need - very nicely furnished, great wifi, great smart TV setup, outdoor shower, outdoor dining area with BBQ, and a truly remarkable location. The owners are great people and take great pride in this home. Our whole family loves this place!

Family stay in Del Mar San Diego, CA

The property is beautiful! Everything a family could want for a beach vacation is conveniently provided by the owners. The home is well maintained and all of the amenities are in perfect working order. We've stayed at the property twice and appreciate how easy it is to work with the owners, how comfortable the home is and perfectly located it is to downtown and the beach. We highly recommend the property.

Perfect Staycation Gateway

We have rented beach houses in Del Mar for the past 10 years and this one is by far the most conformable and well equipped one. Everything we needed for a perfect vacation at the beach with my husband's family was provided (and some more). It is just a short walk away from the beach and the town center which is perfect for elderly visitors. We will definitely come back.

Great house, perfect location

Luxurious Beach House is just that…a beautiful home, fully updated and decorated nicely, very well-equipped kitchen, calming outdoor patio with tranquil water-feature, fireplace and TV for dining and entertainment. Fantastic location — literally around the corner from the beach so we didn’t even need to wear our flip flops to get there! Plenty of good quality beach chairs and fluffy beach towels. Lovely and communicative hosts. Can’t wait to return and enjoy Del Mar and this fabulous accommodation!

Love this house!

We have stayed here now for 3 or 4 years now I lost count! We love the home for our family of 5. It’s big enough for all of us, is very clean and comfortable and is stocked with everything you need. We love the location and try to drive as little as possible when we’re here. We walk to the beach and restaurants every day and enjoy it so much!! Monarch, Tamarindo, Sbicca, Jake’s, Gelato and the frozen yogurt shop are our favorites!! The owners are always available via text and very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next stay!!

Excellent Clean Home in Prime Del Mar Location

We just stayed at this amazing home for the second year in a row. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s super clean, the layout is great for our family of 5, it’s updated, has all the beach accessories you will need and is a quick walk to our favorite beach and restaurants. I can’t think of a more relaxing week. We went to the beach every day and enjoyed the amazing restaurants and barely got in our car. Mark is extremely responsive and even told us about fun events happening close by during our stay. He takes great pride in his home and it’s a gem. We can’t wait to come back next year!!

Perfection all around

This property is first class Del Mar living. The property is beautifully furnished, clean and stocked with all you’ll need for just about anything you’d like to do. The kitchen accoutrements are plentiful and diverse, and if you like to cook you won’t be lacking for utensils. The beach is a block away and we spent plenty of time there and had all the gear we needed at our fingertips. The property manager, Heather, was awesome and answered all our questions when we arrived. We’ve stayed in many Del Mar properties, and this one is the best bar none. Book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing hosts, location and property!

Mark and Patti's property was the perfect spot for our winter escape! The home was immaculate, smartly decorated and thoughtfully stocked. While many beach properties are worn and cheaply furnished, this property offered high-end finishes and touches (from appliances to high end bedding) - and was stocked with everything you would need making for a very comfortable stay. We loved the location - just a half a block from the beach and a five-minute walk from some of Del Mar's best restaurants. Many days ended with us grabbing a beach chair and heading to the beach for evening sunsets and then walking to Posieden for dinner. While on the busy and popular Coast Blvd road, the house was super quiet, safe and private - and offered off street parking. Gates leading to the front and back entrances made offered seclusion while in the heart of it all. Mark and Patti were amazing, friendly and very-responsive hosts. Would not hesitate to recommend and stay again :)

Amazing beach house

Every year my family rents a home in Del Mar to enjoy the beach and restaurants. This might be our favorite house yet! We are clean freaks and this home was spotless. It was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed breakfasts outside on the patio and the owners had everything we needed for a day at the beach in the garage. While most homes have the basics ( boogie boards, shovels) this home had an awesome wagon and a huge tent for shade and lots of chairs. I also appreciated the new & clean front loading washer and dryer since this mom of 3 buys does a lot of laundry on vacation. Every day we made the easy walk to the delicious restaurants for lunch and dinner, there is so much to choose from but Sbicca, Monarch and Tamarindo are our favorites. After eating too much we loved the easy stroll back to the home or beach and enjoyed the sunset and playground along the way. The owners are extremely responsive to texts and you can tell they really take care of this amazing home. I feel grateful they are willing to share it with families like ours. We can’t wait to come back.

Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.

This is a perfect vacation property that has that just right size and all of the right amenities. Very well appointed with high end finishes and just a block off the beach. We stayed eight days over Thanksgiving and totally enjoyed the visit. The most unique aspect is the indoor outdoor dining room with a gas fireplace and a fountain. There is a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room downstairs and three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. There was really nothing that we needed that the property did not have both in the kitchen and in all possible beach equipment. There are several restaurants within a 5 to 7 minute walk and a small downtown area 12 to 15 minute walk. The owner is very responsive and accessible. We would definitely come back here.

Perfection

My husband, our two young children, and my parents stayed in this home for 8 nights total and we’re already scheming how to get back to it! This is one of those vacation rentals that just grow on you more and more with each passing day. Mark and Patti were kind enough to even let us extend our stay one additional night as we were nearing the end of the trip. The home was fully stocked. We just did a quick grocery run and were set for the week. And the location was pure perfection! It was only a 2-3 minute walk to 20th street beach and a beautiful 10-15 minute walk up the hill to the village. We loved this pre and post - mealtime exercise so much. The home was a perfect size for our four adults and two young children. We never felt crammed, as everyone had their own room, and it was manageable from a cleaning perspective. Do yourself a favor and look no further than this awesome Del Mar beach home. It won’t disappoint!

Beautiful home - could stay forever

Wonderful home, steps from the beach, set up with everything you need, just like your own home. We thoroughly enjoyed Del Mar and this home is the perfect place for days on the beach, exploring the town and trips to the rest of San Diego.

Amazing Location and Luxurious Beach House!

My husband and I had the pleasure of renting this property for a month and had the most amazing experience! We are already dying to go back. Everything from the location (5/5 for walkability) to the high end finishing and appliances throughout this house make it the perfect rental. It’s comfortable, luxurious, and stocked with everything you’d need from beach toys to grilling tools. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We purchased this home in 2008 and fell in love with the convenient location. Then we completely renovated it down to the studs, and rebuilt it with the high-end finishes. We lived in it for a year before moving to another home nearby, but we can not part with our beach house which we still use and maintain in like-new condition. We enjoy the many fun family memories the home creates for us and our guests.

The access to the beach is fantastic! The short walk is flat and the sturdy beach wagon easily rolls directly onto the beach, meaning you do not need to carry any items.
