Peaceful, lovely property! We especially enjoyed the large deck and listening to all the crickets & tree frogs at night. The ping-pong table and space for games downstairs was an added bonus.

This house and location worked well for us. Loved having the passes to the local beach. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck overlooking the pond. The second bathroom is on the lower level, which may be an issue for some people as it is away from the bedrooms.

Relaxing house steps from the water!

We had a fantastic stay! We were in town for a family wedding and this location was perfect. It was steps away from the pond, had a nice deck we were able to relax on, it was in excellent condition and the owner was very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to visit our family!

Quickly becoming a holiday tradition

Our family spent has spent the last two years at this amazing place. The owners have made it feel like home. The peace and quiet is amazing, and it is close enough to enjoy the nearby towns and beaches. We look forward to spending more vacations here.

We enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was spacious and updated. Everything we could have asked for and more was there. John was very responsive when we had questions. My kids absolutely loved the ping pong table, the canoe and fishing off the dock. The area was so cute with so much to do within driving distance. We eould definitely stay again.

Private Getaway

My family and I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. It was very peaceful and had all the conveniences of home. The ping pong game was a great feature along with the large deck. We were very happy with this vacation home.

Good stay and house

Had a fun week at the house. It’s in the woods and private which was nice. The deck is huge and enjoyed sitting out there with views of pond. The kayaks were fun for teenagers. 10 min to beaches. John was helpful and we enjoyed the stay.

Sirotnak Summer Vacation

If youre looking for a private getaway, but close enough to get to beaches, and shops, and restaurants, this is the place. Water in pond is great to swim in. Really friendly neighbors down below. Deck was perfect for pets to relax on with us. Beach passes really helpful.

RI wedding stay

This was the perfect place for us. Our sons wedding was in RI and very near this home. We like being in a quiet area and this met all we had hoped for. There was a glitch with the refrigerator, but John was quick to help with that. The road going in is a little bumpy, but once in, the pond view from the deck was so relaxing. It was a great place to visit with family.

Beautiful house with quiet surroundings, close to the beach

The house is quite nice, the deck is amazing to watch sunsets on. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the ocean. The house had everything we needed and then some. We were only two people, so it was way big for us and our two dogs. The neighbors at the cabin/camp next door were friendly and quiet, and only a presence on the weekend. My only wish was that there would be a dock to drop boats into the beautiful “pond” which by all accounts is quite a big lake!

Very disappointing

I’m not sure where to start! The driveway was washed out in 3-4 sections, the front door handle was broken and had a sign up stating do not use, and the house stunk of mildew - the smell was over powering. I left the sliding door open off the kitchen to air out the house when we were home. Several windows had no screens or broken screens so couldn’t be used for cross ventilation without leaving in bugs. Every time it rained, which was often, the big window in the dining area leaked, and we ended up not using the basement area with the 2nd bathroom and table tennis table because my husband and my kids saw enormous centipedes down there. I honestly could have overlooked most things if the owners had spend some money on providing comfortable patio seating for their beautiful deck. Instead, 2 of the 4 loungers where broken, all were well past their prime, all were covered with bird poop, as well as 3/4 smalls tables being eaten with rust, including the base of the outdoor grill. Very off putting. We spent 8 days here and embraced the rustic nature of the house so as not to run our family vacation. I reread previous reviews and do not understand the discrepancies and makes me question the validity of basing my Vrbo selection on reviews moving forward! This home was so not worth the money! Since the owners stayed the nite prior to our arrival, they were aware of the damaged front door, Mildew smell, and missing and broken screens.

Well, I am not sure where to start. The driveway had some damage from recent storms (which has since been repaired) but it was not "washed out" at any place or by definition you would not be able to drive down it. No one else thinks this family summer house "stunk of mildew." I am not saying that this is a brand-new building built by a resort company, but it was professionally cleaned before your arrival and you are the only one who seems to be able to smell what you are talking about. There is one missing screen out of the five windows in the living room/kitchen/dining area as well as the screen on the sliding door. If you needed help to figure out how to create cross ventilation without letting in bugs I wish that you had contacted me. Again...I am not sure what to say. No one else has seen a centipede in the finished basement...enormous or otherwise ...and this is the first that I am hearing of it from you. Regarding the patio furniture...I wish that you had reported that you or a previous guest had broken two of the loungers and I could have replaced them. As far as bird poop...this place is literally in the woods and although we clean the deck and the chairs before every arrival...the birds and the spiders keep doing their thing. I am truly sorry that you did not enjoy your vacation. The guests before you and after you do not share your opinion. In the future, if have a question or concern when you stay somewhere contact the host immediately so that they can address it.

Perfect spot on the lake

The location of this house is PERFECT for us lake-lovers! It helped that we were here in October & the leaves were in full color. Bed was comfortable, the kitchen easy to work in, and the views SO peaceful! Our dog loved zooming in the big yard.

Great home away from home

We had a great stay here. It was a quiet setting that was perfect to come back to after exploring RI all day. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fully stocked linens and towels made packing easier. The large deck was perfect for relaxing and watching the amazing sunsets over the pond. The included town beach pass was a handy surprise too.

Great value

My family stayed for two weeks. The setting is beautiful and near the Narragansett Beaches. The house is stocked with everything you need. My only warning to other vacationers is that the grills on the deck did not work so if you want to grill you will need to bring a small grill of your own. I would definitely stay here again - it is a really well-priced water-front property.

Quiet and peaceful

Spring Fling

This property is welcoming, comfortable and spacious. All of the rooms have windows and great views. The porch is like another living room and the "den" on the lower level is cozy. A great place for a family get-together but friends would have plenty of room to visit and have quiet space. We liked the bike path nearby which goes all over RI. Beaches are close by and "old" Wakefield, just 10 minutes away, has old-world charm. Many cafes, sandwich shops, and artisan shops. My last day I got a message at "All That Matters" that was amazing. Would definitely stay her again.
