What a gem!

Absolutley the cleanest rental we have ever had. Unit was exactly as described and pictured. One of the most well equipped little kitchens you could imagine. We were staying there over Christmas while visiting family and the property manager even put a small lighted tree in the living room for our arrival! What a considerate touch. Would definitely rent again next time we are visiting!

Great stay on south Casey Key

We had a great stay at the Dockside 1-Bedroom Villa. It is on a canal which is right off of the Intracoastal waterway so if you bring, or rent a boat you can dock it at the property with pre-approval. The apartment looked like it had a recent update inside and was very nice. There are two waterfront restaurants within easy walking distance and a marina between them if you want to rent a boat or jet ski. The Venice North Jetty is a 20 minute walk or a 2 minute drive away and you can go there to fish or watch porpoise and manatees. As the owner said, the private beach access is right across the road, so about 100 yards from your porch. We hope to be able to stay again. The owners are great too!

Happy New Year!

Wonderful property location. Nothing like waking up with coffee on the patio while watching the birds and boats go by and then a quick walk to the beach or Pop's and Pelican Alley for a meal. Love this location.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The villa did not disappoint! Time spent at the villa, in between time spent visiting with family, was like a mini vacation of it’s own. The beach access directly across the street from the property made our stay 5 stars! We definitely would consider booking again.

Great location and very clean!

Property was ideally situated on intracoastal waterway with convenient access to gulf beach right across the road. The rental was very clean and comfortable, had some quaint details, and had everything we needed. This unit was perfect for a couple, but might be a little snug for more guests. I believe there were other units available that would accommodate more guests if needed, and the grounds were beautiful. Two nice restaurants were within walking distance, one with live music every day. We cooked about 50% of our meals and had the necessary equipment. The owners were very responsive to all questions. We could not have had a better stay and hope to return in the future!

Great retreat

Our stay began with property manager going out of her way to make sure we had beach chairs and umbrella to fully enjoy our stay- went above and beyond. The unit was perfect space for two, peaceful shade and just across the street from the beach. Kitchen not equipped with even basics like oil, sugar but we ate out anyways. Bed was super comfortable. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Fishing & Relaxation

We have traveled to Casey Key annually for several years to fish for Tarpon. This villa was perfect for my wife & I. My fishing buddy could pick me up every morning off the dock and the boat launch was within walking distance so I could help him launch & load the boat every day. My wife only had to walk across the street to enjoy the beach or she could relax & read on the patio. The villa is located close to several good eating establishments. The villa was clean & comfortable.

Didn’t want to leave!

An absolutely wonderful stay, and the owners are great! Any issues were resolved ASAP. The view of the water is lovely, and the beach just a steps across the street.

Wonderful stay

This small place near the bridge on Casey Key is perfect for one who likes to walk wherever they need to go -- easy to the beach, to a fun restaurants - (Pops), and right down the road from the end of the key facing the jetty of Venice -- great part right there. The place itself is clean as a whistle, and faces the canal out back - great for morning coffees with the birds that stroll by. Highly recommended for those who want to have a more intimate time away from their routines.

Lovely view, right on the water

Beautiful setting, large deck. It was very chilly during our stay but thankfully we found a heater which we very much appreciated. The apt was furnished nicely, plenty of towels, and there was a laundry room close by. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the proximity to Sarasota and found a couple of good restaurants in Nokomis, the Breakfast Cottage and Mamma Leones.

Very nice, well-equipped, great location!

One of the nicest beach rentals we've ever stayed in. Everything was in excellent condition and well-maintained. Full size shower was a welcome surprise. Beach was just a few steps away across the street—a quiet section of Casey Key. Lovely porch behind it with canal access. We can't wait to stay here again.
