Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is very nice and located in a wonderful spot in downtown Gatlinburg. The concern I had was the handrail on the commode. The handrail is very loose and moves when trying to use it. It either needs tightened or removed as someone could fall trying to use the handrail. There was also 2 action figures and popcorn that remained under the recliner when my family arrived. These must have been left by the family before us. Otherwise the condo was quiet, safe and nice to stay in.

The unit we stayed in was laid out nicely however the carpets could use a good cleaning or replacement. The hide a bed sofa had an air mattress which was a pleasant surprise. We had a nice stay everything was furnished which made the stay very nice. Would request this unit again.

Needs updated and a good cleaning.

The BAD - The furniture needs updated and the stained carpet needs to be ripped out and updated with something more durable. The mattress cover on the fold out couch bed had mold all over it. Also the condo doesn't smell the best and the AC in the living room doesn't work that well and puts off a weird smell as well.. The Good - It was close walking distance to everything on the main strip in Gatlinburg.

It is fairly close to the strip, especially if you enter through "the village" pathway. I will also say the management did try to help with issues. So, this specific unit was not impressive. As soon as we entered it smell like urine and animals. Also, did not smell like it had been cleaned. Spots all over the floor, as well. Not updated at all and just honestly not taken care of. I would suggest a different unit.

Highly Disappointed

I have reserved several VRBO facilities and this location was the worst I have been to. A matter a fact so bad we didn’t stay either nights. When we arrived, the accommodation we’re not cleaned from the previous stay. It was filthy and the smell of cigarette smoke was awful. We notified the front desk of the issue. She had to call the cleaning company to come back to clean the place. Three hours later we returned, along with one of the cleaning company’s staff. We entered and noticed the kitchen wasn’t wiped down nor was the place vacuumed. The smell of cigarette smoke still lingered. With Covid19 we did not feel comfortable to stay there and with my allergy I couldn’t/wouldn’t deal with the cigarette smell.

Nice little condo with a great location!

Clean and very nice location. Within walking distance from the main strip and convenient to a lot of things like the aquarium and the lift to Askeetana(?). Can’t remember the name! Nice rate per night. The size is only for couples however. One bed and the kitchen is small compared to other condos we’ve stayed, but we had a great stay overall. Check-in was quick and easy because of the pre-pay. Overall, great weekend and thanks for letting us stay!

The carpet was pretty dirty, the refrigerator and freezer needed defrosting and the trim was coming loose from the walls. The pool was a 5 ft. pool but only 4 ft. of water and never saw anyone clean it or check the chemicals the whole 3 days that we were there. The same mess was in it when we left that was there when we arrived. The hot tub was even worse than that.

Cons: bathroom wasn't real clean, shower only. Air mattress on sofa bed leaked. Maintenance tried, but did not fix. Management did make adjustments because of this problem.
