Great place, exactly as described

The place was spacious and exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, and we had no problems with hot water, (contrary to some reviews). The owner was very communicative, and the directions were clear. The pool area had fantastic sunset views, and we could also watch the sunset from the gym balcony. The gym itself had a lot of equipment, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a wonderful experience

Exceeded our expectations.

We visited PV for a mother daughter getaway and staying at Wes's condo made our vacation one of the best we've taken. The condo is nestled in the hills of Amapas and boasts the most amazing views of the Banderas Bay. The condo was perfect. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Although we didn't use the kitchen much, it was set up with everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds had exceptionally comfortable mattresses. We were asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow. I truly can't say enough good things about our stay. We will definitely stay at Wes's condo again!

A few hiccups, but great place

We had some communication issues about checking in, but it was resolved. We had continuing issues with hot water, but the host did try to resolve it. My only real complaint is beyond the control of anyone: the pool area is all shade throughout the time we were there and the pool was really cold. We went in December, though, so it could be much better other times of the year. The condo was spotless. The kitchen was incredibly prepared: my husband cooked and it had everything he needed plus storage containers for leftovers. Plenty of towels. It's a great place if you need 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms were nice. Walking out of the patio to the pool area is very convenient. We would consider renting this place again if family members joined us for vacation.

It's not what we expected

Waited in lobby for at least a couple hours before getting into condo, bad communication. once inside I had to take instructions on the phone on how to turn on electric breakers located outside of property. Condo doesn't get sunlight, is dark, and many bulbs were burned out. cleanliness was marginal, fridge dirty. showering was bad, warm water lasted seconds before getting cold. Faucet handles fell off when used. Oven never warmed enough to warm a pizza. microwave took at 5 minutes to warm coffee. The beautiful pool outside NEVER sees the light of day, so next to no-one uses it. Walking into town is dangerous -- along major roadway, no side walk. We paid TOP DOLLAR and expected a high end unit, sadly disappointed.Nice view thoughWith our complaints we were offered a free 2 night stay in the future. But with our inquiry of securing dates, we are not getting a response.

Check-in Process: Typically, our check-in is smooth, and we're committed to improving communication to ensure this does not happen again. 2. Electricity and Appliances: We understand the inconvenience you experienced with turning on the A/C at the breakers. Our team is available to assist with any questions, and we have a guide in the unit on how to operate everything in it. We have addressed the lightbulb issue. 3. Shower Water Temperature and Faucets: These are issues that have been investigated and are resolved to ensure a more comfortable experience for future guests. 4. Kitchen and Microwave Issues: We ensure they are properly functioning. 5. Pool and Sunlight: While it’s true that the pool is shaded for part of the day in the winter months, it is still a lovely place for relaxation and a swim. Many of our guests enjoy the tranquility of the space, but we completely understand that some prefer more sunlight. 6. Walking into Town: The west side of the road does have a pedestrian walkway. Also, there is usually a taxi waiting at the entrance to the property for residents who would prefer an inexpensive ride into town too. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide the kind of vacation experience you were expecting. Lovely Vacation Home

We forgot to bring directions so when I pulled up the address, taxi driver couldn’t find it. When we finally figured it out, there was nobody to greet us at the lobby. We walked to the unit and luckily someone was there to let us in. She spoke zero English and our Spanish is limited, so that was interesting. My husband presently surprised to find tequila in the cabinet so that made our rough start better. The home is spacious, comfortable and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed sunsets almost nightly. Very lovely pool with built in swim up bar, although it is not in use. Apparently you can bring your own beverages and man it yourself. My teens prefer music and activities but if you want a quiet retreat, it’s perfect! It’s tricky to walk to the beach so we took an Uber for a couple of dollars each way. We loved that part of town so we didn’t venture out much. Lots of good places to eat and drink. The owner Wes is very responsive to any issues that arise. I would definitely stay there again.

A week in Paradise!

The best location, the most amazing infinity pool, and a professionally designed interior. What more could you ask for in PV?? The bed was so comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to either get out the door with a good breakfast or have a really nice dinner if you feel like staying in. The guest book helped with tons of info on where to go. We loved it!!

Beautiful and spacious first floor condo with excellent views and amenities

This property was perfect for our group of five adults in terms of size, location, and amenities. The condominium is very secure and has only one access point. While this enhances the security, it was designed for those with a car. Without one, you’ll be walking past a security desk/car and and down the ramp. It’s practical just a bit awkward. Good WiFi, responsive property manager, and frequent cleaning service were all other strong points. I would definitely consider staying at this condo again. The first floor location close the the pool was great.

We loved everything about our stay. Either a short cab ride or walk down to town and the beach with so much to do and see. It was so nice opening the windows in the morning to feel the fresh morning air and coffee on the patio overlooking the pool.

Beautiful Setting

Just got back from 8 days in this great setting. High on the hill overlooking the Bay of Banderas. The building is one I've admired for a long time on previous trips to PV. This is a very well staffed building with a great security team as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a 1st floor unit that walks right out to the huge infinity pool. What an awesome view from the edge of this pool! We spent many late afternoons hanging out at that edge watching the wonderful city below. The unit was very comfortable and well appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there were more than adequate towels for both pool and beach use. As a 3 bedroom it had very limited seating both in the living area and the wonderful terrace. This lack of seating and the issue we had with hot water in the master shower are the only reason this doesn't get 5 stars. As for the master shower, we never were able to get that issue fully resolved. It seemed spotty as to whether or not there would be hot water at any point during the day. The owner was responsive and so was the staff, yet to the very last day it still remained a mystery to us as to whether or not there would be hot water. In our opinion, and we've stayed at many vacation rentals throughout the world, this should never be an issue yet it was. Overall a great place to stay and although removed from the noise and energy of Zona Romantica it's still only a 10 minute walk down a staircase to the Olas Atlas area. We did this walk daily and usually found ourselves bringing a taxi back up the hill for 50 pesos (~$2.50 USD). Never was an issue. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet spot yet still close to everything while staying near Old Town in PV!

Everything Perfect!

Our stay at Paramount Bay was perfect. The condo was exactly as advertised, well maybe better than advertised. The view of the city across the pool delighted us each day, especially at night as we enjoyed Puerto Vallarta's magnificent sunsets. Everything in the condo was in perfect condition, and we felt immediately at home. The Paramount Bay staff was friendly and helpful. Maid service was thorough, without disturbing our stuff. In short, everything was perfect! We enjoyed Paramount Bay so much that we intend to return soon and rent here again!

2 Couples - Great Vacation!

Everything as described in the write-up and shown in the pictures is true. Beautiful place, great view and amazing accommodations! Very private and secure location - it is a bit of a walk from Zona Romantica and we utilized cabs more but they are inexpensive and easy to find. The time of year we went the buildings are much less populated so it was also quite and relaxing (not that I think it would be much different had more units been occupied). The grounds, gym etc. are very well maintained and the building staff are very helpful. We'd definitely stay again!

ANOTHER beautiful vacation in Puerto Vallarta and this condo is a big part of it!

I have now stayed at this property at least seven different times and there is absolutely a reason I go back - I love the condo and it feels like I am comfortably in my own home. Every possible comfort is present in the condo. The location is perfect. If you like the pool and gym, this is one of the best places to stay. I am looking forward to my next trip back and for sure I will be looking to stay in this unit!

Pure relaxation!

I travelled to PV with my husband, our two teenagers and one of their friends. We absolutely loved the condo and all the staff. The rooms were very much as they looked in the pictures - beautiful. Very high quality furnishings and décor and comfortable beds (something we haven't experienced before in Mexico). The kitchen was amazing! I loved preparing breakfast while looking out over the pool and the bay. Amazing views! The condo building is beautifully maintained, by a dedicated small group of staff that we thought took a lot of pride in their work. We used the gym almost every day after our morning coffee. How wonderful to look out over the ocean while warming up on the treadmill! The equipment is excellent and again very well maintained. The location of the condo is walking distance to the beach and town. At first walking along the road seemed scary but after acclimation its fine. We tended to walk back up to the condo along the road rather than taking taxis as it was a good workout on the legs. It was so nice to retreat to the serenity of our patio for a nightcap after the bustle of town. Three teenagers, 10 days, no conflict.....beautiful weather, wonderful views - what can I say other than I'll be back. Eric - thanks for helping us with check in and out - you and Wes made all the processes smooth and easy.

Extreme Relaxation in Gorgeous PV Romantica Hillside Condo!

From the moment you walk into this well appointed, meticulously maintained and secure home away from home, you are instantly greeted with the aroma of fresh cut flowers sitting on the counter in the gourmet kitchen. The amazing view encompasses the entirety of Banderas Bay, as your eyes skim across the beautiful infinity pool. There is no concern with a first floor location, which is actually fantastic, with easy access to a private patio with gas grill and the pool. You will be tempted by the quiet & warm breezes coming through the sliding doors, giving full unobstructed access to the outdoors, as you relax in the luxurious beds and enjoy the local art and design that is tastefully done throughout the home. We throughly enjoyed our walks to the beach to walk the malocon for yummy local fare. Our favorite beach bar is Swell which is located next to La Polapa where the staff, drinks and food is very good! We also enjoyed the Red Room for a show that was really fun! A 5 minute cab ride in the evening was well worth it! Jay and I have been coming to this slice of heaven for several years and each time we leave, we know we will be back! We only wish we could have stayed longer! Eric, the property manager is the most charming and wonderful manager, taking care of your every need! We appreciated all of the staff here and their professional attitudes! Once you have experienced this place, you will be coming back too!

Luxury Condo in Amapas Puerto Vallarta

Arrived to a fully stocked fridge arranged by the property manager who was there to greet our party! Always available for questions and help. The condo is immaculate and professionally decorated with a view to kill for! The infinity pool is huge and heated as well. The condo itself has a professionally equipped kitchen and space for three couples, internet, TV, and all the essentials. The housekeeper kept the place clean and orderlly. The property is quiet and a short walk to the beach and the restaurants in old town. We had a wonderful stay for seven nights and couldn't have been happier. What a great condo and location!

Trip to PVR

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Paramount Bay. The condo we rented was beautifully designed with modern amenities and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The condo was extremely clean and had a wonderful maid service and property manager. We loved walking to town each morning for coffee and the beach and found great restaurants nearby for dinner each night. Can't wait to visit again.

Modern tranquility near vibrant Zona Romantica

This has been our eighth visit to Puerto Vallarta in the last four years. We have stayed in both hotels and apartments. We have stayed in the heart of the Zona Romantica, as well as in the hills above it. This was by far our favorite accommodation. The property is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the bay. The heated pool is just steps away from the ground level apartment. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a modern style and well appointed with anything one would need while away from home– Entertainment Ctr., American and Mexican phone lines, well appointed kitchen etc. It was such a peaceful property with great security, and only a five minute cab ride to fabulous restaurants and fun night life. We will definitely be back!

beautiful place, great location

we loved the unit and the location. the pool was beautiful, the view was fantastic, and the apartment was just gorgeous. we easily hiked down to the beach and town, and cabs were plentiful and cheap for our return. the only reason i dock a star is because the shower in the master bathroom never had hot water for very long, and unfortunately, this couldn't be resolved while i was there. this was rather inconvenient, but hopefully wes has solved this problem and so it won't be a problem for you!

Our commitment to quality was to create a luxurious getaway that makes us look forward to return visits every time we leave.

Enjoying the light breeze as you peacefully enjoy the sweeping view of PV from the terrace or the pool is spectacular. But the nightlife and beaches of PV are a quick walk or short cab ride away. You will enjoy the proximity to town and peacefulness of the location.
