Akvavit ( "Agua de la Vida ')
Lo que es una fabulosa casa en la playa! Esta es la primera vez que este nuevo propietario ha ofrecido a la casa para huéspedes. No es sólo un una casa de alquiler con escaso mobiliario y la decoración .. es una casa de familia que se siente como un verdadero hogar.

Una vez que entrar en la casa, se dará cuenta de los amplios espacios abiertos y fantástica vista de la playa y al océano desde casi todas las habitaciones de la casa .... desde la sala de estar bien equipada para Comedor con capacidad para 6-8, el Sol espacio para su café de la mañana o cócteles por la noche, la cocina amplia y totalmente equipada con el Den con TV.

Sólo por la sala de Sun es la cubierta con su propia pasarela privada a la playa. Además de otra cubierta en la planta baja.

Ahora las habitaciones ... El principal tiene una magnífica vista del océano (lo que es una manera de despertar!) con cuarto de baño completo con bañera de hidromasaje, y un enorme walk-in closet y TV ....

El segundo dormitorio tiene una reina y TV.

El tercer dormitorio tiene dos gemelos. El cuarto dormitorio se dobla como una oficina / dos gemelos.

Además, disfrute de la fabulosa club Serenata Beach 1. 5 millas al sur por sólo $ 230 para su grupo durante una semana (10 personas, con exclusión de los niños de 6 años).

Con Wi-Fi, una sala de lavandería con lavadora / secadora, parrilla de gas, sillas de playa y mucho más ... Akvavit lo tiene todo para hacer su ... una vez al año de vacaciones unas vacaciones realmente el sueño!

Family Trip

We had a wonderful time at this property! The outside decks were our favorite part. Being only steps away from the water and feeling like we were on a private beach with no one else around was amazing! This has been our favorite beach location to date and we would absolutely stay here in the future. Very kid friendly and the host is wonderful.

Perfect beach location

Comfortable clean well stocked house- perfect location right on the beach. Uncrowded beach with a nice deck too. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. Good location to St Augustine and nature trails

Great getaway!

This trip is exactly what we needed! Sun, sand and convenience! Right on the beach was perfect for coming and going with the kids. Grocery store super close to the house, and a ton of dining options. The house was perfect for our 2 families and enough space for everyone! Would definitely come back and stay here!

Wonderful stay

The house was just perfect for our family. The older kids loved the ping pong/fooseball table. Most nights you could find them in there having competitions. The beach was basically ours. It was so nice to walk out the door and be on the beach in a minute. Plenty of towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the sunrise from all windows. The only things we’d change is the window in the downstairs shower needs to be frosted and the pocket door downstairs didn’t slide easily. Neither was a deal breaker. We’d definitely stay again.

perfect getaway!

the property is very clean and well kept! There was not a thing missing Tomake our stay comfortable. We like to cook and appreciated the cupboard being stocked with oils and general spices. Also, a true pleasure that there was coffee available for the coffee maker! When the tide comes in , from inside the house it almost feels like your sailing in a boat, beautiful and relaxing, especially sitting out on the back deck. My teenagers had a blast skim and boogie boarding, also appreciated that the house had all of these toys for their enjoyment!

Lovely location.

The property has a great location – literally down a few steps and you’re on the beach. Sitting on the veranda watching the waves is a great way to start the day having slept in a comfortable bed. Inside, the house could do with some maintenance – in the master bathroom, for example, the bidet is covered with “Do not use” signs, the corrosion on the fixtures suggesting it hasn’t been usable for some time. The shower has a substantial split between the walls which is filled with caulk. In the second bathroom, the sink drain’s chrome has worn away so it shows rust. None of these mean the house is not usable but do take away from its ambiance. The photograph showing the exterior from the air is out of date and very misleading. There is no grass or landscaping as shown. The bushes are so overgrown that pulling out on to the road can be treacherous. Much is said about the house being a home, but I think there are some steps that need to be taken to make that statement true.

This is a wonderful home that has ANYTHING and EVERYTHING a family or a couple could possibly need or want. I feel the owners have put themselves in a potential renters place and stocked the house accordingly. They really made our vacation so much easier by not having to buy things to supplement . With that said, please understand that the way this home is laid out truly makes sense for whatever your needs are on a daily basis. The other wonderful aspect of this property is you are literally steps from the ocean. When you have young children and beach equipment that you take to the beach daily that is key. The owners suppled beach toys, many towels and a cooler. A really sweet touch that we have NEVER experienced all the years we have rented was the owner’s son set up their canopy for us the day we got there before we pulled in. We loved that!!!! Lastly, the owner and her son are very sweet. They returned my call over a very simple question and couldn’t be more helpful. Trust me, this home has been designed and planned out for renters to have a very special and worry free vacation. You see it in all the big and small touches. In my opinion, this home is well worth the cost. Don’t pass it up!!!! To the owners, please know we were very impressed and felt like you blessed our trip. Thank you so much!! We will be back…..

Homeowner Cancelled !

PLEASE NOTE: my rating isn't quite accurate, as we never stayed in the property. so I really cant judge the cleanliness of the home, but this site requires all questions to be answered. After paying in-full, months in advance, we were notified by the Property Manager, 7 days before check-in, that the homeowner had cancelled our reservation & the home was no longer available for us. Fortunately, and gratefully, VRBO did refund 100% of our money. The property manager did assist us with renting elsewhere and agreed, in two emails, that she would reimburse us for the difference, as the 2nd property was more expensive. She reassured us a check was going to be mailed, by USPS Priority Mail, several weeks ago. We have yet to receive it. My family and I have rented through VRBO for many years, & always able to leave a 5 star review. This situation was unique and very disturbing. Again, we are so grateful to VRBO for reimbursing us, and initially felt very grateful that the property manager who not only helped us to secure another vacation property in short notice, and reimburse us the difference in cost. Her initial correspondence to us was prompt and seemed so sincere. We surely hope nothing bad or unfortunate has happened to her. And, we surely would like her to honor her offer to reimburse us the difference in cost. We have tried for weeks to contact her by phone and email without any response from her. Little bit of heaven!

This was the perfect place for us. We have rented in this area several times but this location and set up was perfect for us. The setting was private and quiet with beautiful sunrise walks watching dolphins frolic yards away, while collecting shells. We swam for hours everyday, shopped nearby, and watched Super Moons appear for several nights. Amazing trip that provided priceless memories! Can’t wait to return!

Always Lovely

We have stayed at this home several times over the years and truly enjoy it. The location is ideal if you want quiet time with family or friends at the beach. The living space is generous and the bedrooms a good size. We have stayed at other rentals in the area that just don’t have the living space this one does. The kitchen is outdated but everything works and there are plenty of dishes. The recent upgrade to the bathrooms are really nice and were a pleasant surprise this trip. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

THe place was awesome, my family felt completely at HOME :)

I booked this house for my family to be near my niece and her family staying up the road. This was the perfect place for us all to gather for family meals and the NYE toast. The home is equip with all you need (except a potato smasher lol) but I got by... Honestly it's spacious, it's is cozy and it's simply a perfect place to reconnect with those you love.

Gorgeous views and home

We loved our stay and wish it was longer! You can't beat being right on the beach and relaxing on the porch. The house was well stocked, beds super comfortable and the check-in/out process was easy. The house is in need of a few updates which according to previous reviews are coming in 2022. Nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. The major complaint is the road where the house is located. People FLY down that road. 75-80mph+ You need to have a good handle on your dogs and kids when going out front and the shrubs could be cut back quite a bit to help with pulling out on to the road. If you stay out back on the beach side, you don't really notice it unless a motorcycle or loud car is driving by. The proximity to St Augustine is great and there are quite a few options for food delivery as well which is nice. Overall, we were very pleased!

Beautiful home and location. Plenty of space for my family and the beach was awesome. The only really picky items I'd point out, there was no propane tank for the grill, could have used more toilet paper- we used 4 more rolls that I bought just in case. The marble transition tile to the master bathroom was broken as well. But we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely rent again.
