Location, location, location! Wonderful to watch the dolphins from the patio. Easy walk to restaurants, cafe's, and of course the beach.

Host was great and kept in contact when we needed, the house could’ve been cleaned better before we arrived but when we reached out the host was responsive and apologetic (doesn’t seem like a regular occurrence from past reviews) overall the location was amazing, barely a 5 minute walk to the beach and the morning views and breeze from the balcony made up for it!

Great Place & Wonderful Host

Arrived a little late, and everything was set up for us. Very clean place with a nice view of the waterway. Coffee in the morning on the porch or down at the very laid out yard. Just a really great stay. Cannot say enough about the wonderful host. THANK YOU BRENT & ALEXIS

This was our 3rd year to stay at this lovely beach house. Always a great experience and look forward to staying again. The views of the sunrise are spectacular.

Amazing Property

Couldn’t believe we found this hidden Gem, the views were amazing. We got to watch a dolphin swimming about the bay and a short walk away was the beach with white sand and the sea was so warm. Lots of local amenities to chose from and Clearwater is a short UBER ride away.

Beautiful View from this Property

What a view! We loved being able to see out to the quiet beautiful cove. So peaceful. This property is a condo so we did have close neighbors, but everyone was nice and we had some easy conversations. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath worked just fine for the 4 of us. Easy to find and close to the beach and morning coffee.

Lovely cottage

This is my second year, staying at this property, just a different unit. The hosts went above and beyond and supplied little fans for the rooms, as last year when I stayed one of the rooms got a little hot. We didn’t have that problem though this year both rooms were nice and cool and we didn’t even need the fans. We just really appreciate it that day provided them in case we needed them. The views (amazing sunrises ) from the sliding glass window are spectacular, and it was fun to sit on the balcony and watch sea life and boats go by! I would definitely stay here again.

Waterfront treat

This 2nd floor intercoastal condo is sufficiently appointed. Some updates have been made. LR furniture and 1 bed is squishy. Interior doors need planing.. But the view is great. Unexpected lack of ability to launch our kayaks due to high drop from dock was a surprise along with a week of red tide. Friendly neighbor renters come and go . All considered it was a good find. AM sunrises memorable. We had what we needed and felt safe at night on the streets. Short walk to beach.

Too many bugs, dead and alive, upon check in

Arrived late night to rental. Entering properly, we saw a very large palmetto bug on its back and still alive. Too big to stomp. It was amazingly fast when my husband tried to and did catch it. We than found 3 more dead ones on the floor in the back bedroom. I contacted Brent via messages to let him know. He didn’t respond. Within 30 minutes we found another large one, alive, in the bathroom. Caught it and tossed into toilet. That one I took a picture of. I sent Brent another message stating what we found and that I was having a hard time imagining myself sleeping here. That every light was turned on and I was unnerved with this. We were leaving. It was 11pm. Brent responded this time, immediately. Apologized. Said the condos were recently sprayed. He promised to make it right. He offered to refund me for 2 nights for the inconvenience or he’d refund me the full amount if I didn’t wish to come back to stay. I told Brent I’d take the full refund. That it was too soon and out of my comfort zone to come back and stay. A few days later I received two refunds. My last payment was refunded in full. However, my down payment, which was my first payment 6 months ago was not a full refund. It is almost $382.00 short. I’ve reached out to Brent, asking for an explanation. He hasn’t responded. I’ve reached out to VRBO and they too haven’t been able to get a response from him. So I’m now leaving this negative review. I’m extremely disappointed in this lack of communication on his part. Also, while we are at it, he states in his description that the condo has been UPDATED. This isn’t true. I’ve stayed here twice in 2019. The condo hasn’t changed. He really needs to take UPDATED out of his description. Nothing has changed. We really liked the location and were willing to accept how the condo is. But we never had bugs until this visit. Now I just want my FULL refund. As Brent promised. Disappointed with condition of condo. Disappointed with Brent’s lack of communication. Disappointed with VRBO for the first time. I’ve been renting properties through VRBO for over 10 years. VRBO need to look into Brent’s properties. Teresa

Hi Teresa, I apologize to hear about your experience. I am not sure how many bugs there were as you only sent me a picture of one dead one. I did refund you the full amount VRBO would allow me to. The rest is their fees and they would be the one that would have to refund you the amount, not me. You also stated that VRBO reached out to me and couldn’t get a hold of me. That is also not true as they never reached out to me. As far as the updating part we actually just had this units bathroom tiles refinished this past summer as well as the exterior building being painted. Thank you for staying at our condo the last 2 times. I apologize your third stay at our condo wasn’t like the previous two times you came and I hope VRBO can help you with the rest of your refund.

The condo was in need of several things. First there no batteries in 2 of the TV remotes. There was only 1 ice cube tray that was broken which caused a build up of ice on the freezer and no ice cubes. With no ice maker in the refrigerator this was a continual check to make ice cubes. A cookie sheet or 2 would have neen helpful for cooking. We also would have liked a clock in bedroom. We had to hunt for a coffee maker other than the Krups that was available.

Great Property - Communication Issues

The condo is great, well kept, and clean. There’s plenty of space and a beautiful view. The one problem we ran into was the entire weekend there were painters painting the outside of the property. We were not given previous warning about this. They were on our balcony which made us nervous being 4 young adult girls and having random men being able to see through the thin curtain. They also were painting the stairs leaving us a sliver of space down to carry our big bags and we were constantly having to walk under ladders, both of these things were pretty big safety issues. That being said we did enjoy our stay, and would recommend, just wish we had some warning before or they hadn’t rented out while there was work being done.

Excellent, quiet Florida Escape!

This is a perfect, convient get-away! Close to the beach with a gorgeous view! Lots of great food options close by and wildlife (dolphins, pelicans and fish right off the private dock) The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back for another stay!

Property just as described

The only inconvenience was the Air conditioning was set on 70 the lowest and after midnight the place feels hot and there's was no way to adjust the AC alittle lower

The location was great. Communication with the owners was excellent. The only negatives were the bathroom needs some help. There are holes in the wall from the towel rack being rehug multiple times and it could really use some updating which makes it appear not very clean. The hot tub was broken, however, the owner's quick response to trying to fix it was great. The only suggestion I would have is to have some cooking spices etc. in the kitchen for guests to use for cooking, such as salt, pepper, maybe even a little olive oil. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your property. We had an amazing time!

Great spot!

This was a perfect vacation. Sunrise every morning with the sounds of happy birds, quick and easy walk to the beach each day, and lots of restaurants within a short drive. Nice and quiet location. Would definitely go back!

Gulf Coast Stay

We felt very comfortable in this rental. It was very clean and cozy. When I had a question, the owner answered immediately. I will discuss a few maintenance issues with the owner, which I am sure will be resolved. Overall, a great place to rent.

Great Stay

Tried this area for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Loved the beach here especially since there was access at every street. Found some excellent restaurants close by. Enjoyed the quiet of this area since more condos and less hotels yet close to Clearwater and Dunedin if you want to hit the bars, etc. Property as described, very clean with comfortable beds and a balcony for sitting outside. Generally well equipped. Would like to have had seating on the waterfront dock.

A month in the sun

We had the best trip we have had to Florida. The weather was great. The view of the gulf from our window greeted us every morning. The apartment is bright and nicely furnished. Brent and Alexis were attentive hosts.

Great location! Amazing water view from your own balcony, easy walk to beach! Super clean rental!

This was my 2nd time to stay here (I stayed in March 2019 with my sister 1st time). To be able to wake up every morning and sit on the balcony, enjoying your cup of coffee (or tea for me) is the perfect way to start the day. The condo is clean. Owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions. A very short walk to the beach. Location of condo is great, makes for an easy drive to other places along the coast. We went for walks every evening, such a quiet/peaceful neighborhood. Couldn’t ask for a better place to spend your vacation, it was easy to unwind and relax. We highly recommend staying here and will stay here again.
