Family Vacation

We loved staying here! The shower was amazing, beds were comfy and loved the fact that we were steps away from the beach! Only complaint we have is that the gate code was changed our second day there but it was resolved quickly.

Great spot!

We really loved this unit! Having a balcony leading to the pool was perfect for the kids and so easy for mom and dad. The unit was very cute, comfortable, and convenient!

Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay! Location is perfect!!! Would love to come back. Only issue we had was getting through gate - the app gave us the wrong code and security had to help us get in. Simple mistake and everything else was perfect!!

The only issue we had was the entry gate code we were given was incorrect and all the other gate codes were the same which was different than originally supplied.

Updated condo on the beach

This condo is in a gated community and had been recently updated and was very inviting and fresh. We were greeted with a "welcome gift" of prosecco, gourmet popcorn and a candle upon our arrival. This condo has been designed to get the most out of a small space and was very adequate for our stay. (we were only two, although it can sleep up to 6). We especially liked that it was on the ground floor with the patio leading right to the pool (although the pool was not open for use during our stay because of renovations). From the pool area there was direct access to the beach - even though you could not see the beach from the condo or pool area because of the pool area wall. We did wish we had gotten some more information about "what was available" to us as part of the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, or where to go to get that information.

Great Location

This location was amazing! We thought that the pool was going to be closed for renovations which was a bummer but also my fault because I did not see that when I booked it, but to our surprise it was open and my kids were incredibly happy. It is right next to a great restaurant and you walk from your patio to the pool and then right to the beach which is fantastic. I only wish that we had more information on the tram and where you could go. We would have loved to utilize that more and spend more time at Baytowne Wharf. We didn’t discover it until our last day from others staying at the same location. We did check in a day early and came in at about midnight and they were so good about communicating with us. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future. The cleaners did walk in on us about 30 minutes prior to checkout. They were very nice and ended up waiting outside until we were fully packed but we didn’t love that they were able to walk right in especially since our kids were staying in the bunks next to the door. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The condo was very clean but there were several disappointments with the accommodations. We were not provided with codes to the gates, pools or buildings. I had to continuously email and call to get them. Even with the codes provided we were unable to get into the main building. We had to wait for someone else coming in or out to let us in. Very disappointed in the balcony view. I knew there was construction going on but didn’t realize my view would have been of construction workers, trash and dirt. Extremely disappointing! You really shouldn’t advertise this property with a balcony because it was not used. I truly believe this condo should be rented at a discounted rate while construction is going on. The first night we weren’t able to use the pool next door due to a private event. Also, the fire alarm was continuously going off during our first night. When I called to get it fixed I was informed it wouldn’t be fixed until the next day. It just needed a battery but we didn’t get to the room until 8:30 pm after haven driven for 7 hours and didn’t feel like getting back in our vehicle to get a battery that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival. The bed in the living room is broken. The foot of the bed is higher than the head. We were unable to use that bed. I truly believe we should be given a credit or

Great...but they changed the condo and did not let anyone know

The Good: Hard to put in words. Location, Location, Location. That's why it still gets 4 stars, even though we did not get everything expected. This could be my new favorite place to go...our family absolutely loved the beach, the pool, the condo and the resort. Absolutely incredible. First floor patio is now a must. Great view, great ocean breeze. 10 yards to the pool, maybe 40 yards to the gate to the beach. The sand and waves at the beach were perfect. Kids hit the body boards hard. Grills 15 feet from patio, and staff cleaned every night.... The Unexpected: Room has been redone but pictures not updated. No Murphy bed...now a King in the middle of the room. No bunk beds in the bedroom, but it still slept two. No bar stools. Should have a screen door with the door wall. Pots and pans are not great, hard to cook for a family, as there are no large skillets. Overall, Condo was in pretty good shape. Kitchen cabinets and bathroom were a little dated, but you probably will not care, as the whole experience more than makes up for it. We happily made it work, as we were having to much fun to sweat the details.

Relaxing stay

We love this resort! We enjoyed the new furnishings and how close we were to the pool and hot tub area. Staff was friendly when we had questions. We will definitely book another trip at this same location. Next time we will get two. Thanks for opening your home to us.

Great location!

We are a family of five with three young children. It was perfect for us! We have stayed at this complex before, but this place was our favorite because it was on the first floor. It was so easy to walk out and be by the pool on one side and walk right to your car on the other side with no stairs involved. The place is new and updated and they have efficiently used their space. The queen bed is nestled in a nook area which was great for my 3 year old because it prevented her from rolling off the bed. The only thing we wished we would have had access to were luggage carts. We only saw one the whole time and it was always being used. It would have been more of an issue unloading had we not been on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice property. Complex was super nice. The condo had a few things that could be fixed, but nice!

The condo was very small, but was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. Loved the fact it was on the first floor and right by the swimming pool. If there would have been an iron and hairdryer, I would have rated this property a 5.
