Great location and cute place

We had a great time at this beach place. We loved the hot tub and the easy beach access. We wish we could have used the fireplace, just because the weather was so stormy. But overall a great beach place.

Steps

Good but way too many steps by that weren’t listed in the preview. We were all between 75 & 80. Wouldn’t have rented it if we had known. Otherwise an ok place. Very minimal accessories.

Awesome house in a great location!

Easy to book, nice place to stay, and right in the middle of the city. Beach Access right down the street from the house. Our family had a great time and would recommend.

Close to the beach

Great place with a little walk down the hill to the beach. We enjoyed a wonderful time celebrating grandmas 70th birthday.

Great place

Location is great, only a short walk to the beach. House is comfortable, hot tub was in perfect condition. Furniture and appliances are very dated, but everything works, and kitchen is nicely stocked.

This was a pleasant stay for us. The bathrooms are extremely small so it’s hard to get ready in the bathroom but other than that the house was clean and pleasant

Private suburban home

The way the house is set is incredibly private. Needs updating but all in all it is comfortable and great beach location. The hot tub was absolutely perfect!

Great house for the price!

Loved the hot tub, great views of the ocean and the comfy beds. Has a funky lay out and minimal furniture (like only 4 chairs at table for a house that sleeps 7). The house has just enough kitchen supplies (but no coffee grinder or salt/pepper) and is cute and well decorated. Would stay here again!

Just as expected

Great location, close to the beach. We spent time at casino and nights playing board games. It was great for that. If it a place to purchase it would need some updates, but a place for a long chill weekend it was perfect.

We last minute booked this house for our kids and grandchildren. This is an old beach house that was probably adorable in its time. There are stains on the carpet, sheets, couch and bedding. The dining room table has chips of Formica missing. One of the bathroom doors hits the toilet when you open it so it is hard to get in. You are not allowed to open most windows and you are not allowed to use the fireplace. Because of the dirty carpet and poor upkeep, it is definitely dog friendly. The cleaning staff definitely did clean everything as well as possible. There is no pet odor but it was stuffy. The price was ridiculously high for what we got. We should have payed half as much. And checkout was earlier than most places: 10 AM AND you had to take all linen down 2 flights of stairs to the laundry room and start a load of laundry and dishes too. This was stressful to do with all of us trying to pack, eat, shower in small bathrooms and get out the door. However, the location was good and we had fun despite the house condition.

Mother’s Day beach getaway!

I booked this trip through Meredith Lodging. I was able to communicate with them via text which was convenient and received quick responses when I had any questions. This was my Mother’s Day gift from my 2 sons that I don’t see too often so I was really looking forward to it! Beth from Meredith Lodging was so nice and accommodating for me as she was able to wave a check in early fee. My kids were coming in to spend a day or two with me and she waved this fee for Mother’s Day for me! So kind and generous! The house was close to the beach access so we were able to walk. Perfect house for the 3 of us and the weather was spectacular my kids were able to boogie board the entire day!

Overbearing liberal hosts. Maintenance needed

Upon arriving, two of the three fire alarm's were chirping, two of them were low on battery, the other was hardwired and went off constantly during our stay. At 2am at night the alarm went off again and would not stop until I pushed the button multiple times. Ruining my Nights sleep. On top of that the place a fully pull through driveway with two street entrances, yet we have one truck and a trailer and we’re given notice of a parking violation. What a joke.

Entey codes didnt work and had to call customer service twice. VERY small bathrooms, electrical circuits blow when using a hair dryer, limited kitchen items, outdated kitchen appliances, fireplace didn't work called and was told they would check into it and get back to us but they didn't, stairs ,stairs and more stairs, washer and dryer not in house area but in outside downstairs entryway. We use VRBO often and this was my least favorite rental we have had.

Sweet location!

The kids loved the funkiness of the house, however, a few things stuck out that could be improved. The furniture and rug in the living room really smelled of pets, and even though this is a pet-friendly rental, I think it could be cleaned better (baking soda + vacuum?). In the future, if I’m looking for a pet friendly rental, I’ll probably look for places with hard floors. The hood range vent didn’t work when cooking breakfast and the windows don’t open in the kitchen, so it was very humid inside. Also, the toaster did not work. The bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner as we found sand from previous people who stayed there, and lastly, if you have to take your dog or pup out often it’s tedious with the spiral staircase and first floor not being on the ground level. Otherwise, it was an okay stay and a wonderful location down to the 11th street beach access.

Vrbo has too good a reputation to work with Meredith Lodging

The house is odd and not as described. Stairs are scary and not ideal for senior citizens. No mention of this in listing. Bathrooms are tiny and I mean, beyond tiny. Check in as stated at 5 pm is entirely unreasonable given the per day cost for this place. To add insult to injury the unit wasn’t ready until 6:20pm and NO notice was provided to let us know it was available. Wouldn’t have known it was available if we hadn’t kept driving by. 6:20 pm is far too late with no compensation or apology. Customer Service passes the buck and they don’t do anything in support of the paying customer. Sheets were stained and cleanliness was a concern. All outside trash cans were full to capacity. Meredith Lodging does not deserve to be associated with Vrbo. Horrible horrible horrible.

Let Down Lincoln City

We drove 17 hours from 🇨🇦 and arrived approx 9pm. It was dark, late and we could not get the key out of the key lock box. We continued to try all other boxes and nothing. Finally we made a call. The lady had us try all lock boxes again...up and down the stairs...multiple codes and none of them worked. She then dispatched a maintenance man. He showed up about 20 minuted later. He had to bang the lock box very hard to get it to open. The key was stuck inside and he said it sometimes does this. I would assume if this has happened before, it should have been replaced. Be aware, there is alot of stairs so if you have any mobility issues this may be a concern. Entering the home was a powerful smell of mildew and just smelled dirty. The carpets were very dirty, not just dirty but old and needing to be replaced. The area rug was the same way. There is NOT 2 FULL bathrooms. The bathrooms have a small toilet, sink and a very small stand up shower. Two people could not be in the washroom at the same time and open up the shower door and we are not big people. There is NO deck or patio which was a huge thing for us. That was one thing we wanted and it clearly states it has. The view was a small piece of ocean with wires from poles however the windows were so dirty that you could not see out them. Yes I understand there is mist from the ocean but this was very very dirty and I would say not cleaned on the outside for some time. Our Total price for 5 nights on VRBO was

The property was nice, a cute little home. Loved the stairwell.. did not like the 11am check out with having to make sure the house was clean before we left. Maybe a 1pm checkout would suit that cleaning time a little better to ensure the house is presentable. But other then that the place was nice and comfortable.

Cute and convinetnly located

The house is too small for the number of people it says could stay here. The couch and chairs are uncomfortable to sit in and the futon on the upstairs landing was broken when we tried laying it down. The kitchen did have all of the basic cooking supplies someone would need. The bathrooms are very small and laid out in a way that makes them hard to move around in. The house looked clean but smelled slightly of dead fish for our entire stay. We had to rewash several of the dishes before using them because they weren't very clean. The wind was strong enough that it ripped some of the siding loose under the window of the upstairs bedroom and the loose siding banged against the house making it hard to sleep because of the noise. The hot tub would have been perfect except the chemicals in it were overdone and dried out and irritated our skin really badly. The house was close enough to beach access that you could walk there in just a couple of minutes, but be careful of the narrow road and no sidewalks while doing so. It was also very close to Lincoln City's main road and only a few minutes from shopping and restaurants which made it nice for being able to make plans to go out.

Great location

We highly enjoyed how close to the beach this home was. Kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The living room furniture however was very uncomfortable with little options for relaxing with a family of 4. All and all we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Beach House In Lincoln City

Beautiful location

This property was amazing. So close to an amazing Beach and a hot tub!!!!! The only thing I can really complain about is the sleeping Arrangements. This property claims to sleep 7 but realistically unless you are three couples and a single person it only sleeps 4. And being this property is at the Oregon coast bring extra blankets because they are not provided.
