Bigfoot Bungalow - Authentic cozy Bungalow
Wrapped in woodsy privacy, this authentic cabin is as cozy and welcoming as a property can get. It sits tucked onto the south side of Howard Pond in Hanover Maine where wildlife is abundant and the wilderness is plentiful. Try this rental once and we're sure you'll book it time after time.
The location of Big Foot Bungalow puts you within a 20-minute drive of Sunday River Ski Resort, a 15-minute drive to Bethel Village, and only a short walk to public lake access on Howard Pond Road.
Featuring a pine interior and woodland decor, this cabin breathes the life of its natural world. On the main level, two leather couches are arranged to maximize seating around the authentic wood-burning stove. This central stove can effectively heat the whole house and it provides an ambiance and nostalgic scent that make the living room a hard place to leave. There is an open dining area and kitchen so that the whole group can enjoy uninterrupted time together and a sprawling farmer's porch which is covered by an extended roofline.
The bedrooms are arranged with one main level bedroom which is furnished with two sets of bunk beds, a closet, and a dresser. Two bedrooms upstairs share a half bathroom and are furnished with a queen bed and two twins in one room and a king bedroom in the other.
If you are someone that appreciates time off the beaten path and needs a break from the daily rat race, you would be hard-pressed to find a better sanctuary than the Fireside Lodge. Come on in and take a load off- we already look forward to seeing you again next year.
Security Camera Disclosure: This home is equipped with exterior security cameras for protection and to monitor snow removal. The cameras are located at the following locations:
1. Back door
2. Facing hot tub
3. Front porch going up the stairs
4. On a tree in the woods facing the house
Snow removal: All our homes are contracted with various snow removal companies in the area. This includes plow service and snow shoveling for decks and harder to reach areas.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking.
