We had a really nice stay overall. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the view from the balcony. The condo itself was clean although a few things felt a little worn and could probably use some updating.

Check in and out very easy. Condo had pictured and clean. Few minor things but nothing major. Beautiful pool and beach.

The unit was clean but tired looking. The couch sagged and was uncomfortable. The sheets, main bedspread and towels were very worn. The secondary bedroom closet was so packed with beach stuff it was difficult to put anything in it. The tub in the secondary bathroom would not drain. We called for a plumber but it still did not drain well after being serviced.

Outstanding Property

The Somerset is a wonderful condo complex on Marco Island. The unit was spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The unit directly overlooks the ocean, just steps from the beach. There are two fairly small pools, abundant beach chairs provided and the location was convenient to several wonderful restaurants. Overall, a terrific experience.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay in South Seas tower 4, unit 1705! The condo was extremely clean and well appointed. The bed in the main bedroom was VERY comfortable, which is not always the case with vacation rentals. We had everything we needed for our week stay. The grounds are beautifully kept and you could not ask for a better location. We would definitely book this unit again!

Relaxing

Our first trip to Marco Island did not disappoint. The view and atmosphere were amazing. A couple things that need attention will be to clean the furniture and new mattresses in the second bedroom, the mattresses did not stay on the box springs.

Beautiful property. Didn't like running sings for keys, and paying for parking but overall very good. Air conditioner didn't seem to keep up. Very warm at times

The unit was a bit dated. Carpet (finishing nails sticking up at entrances to both bedrooms which you could feel in bare feet). All of the wallpaper needs changing. The furniture was simply ok. The mattresses were horrible being an entry level product. The storage cubby in the hall needs a good cleaning. The beach cart, umbrellas and such in that cubby were good. The fridge, coffee maker and microwave were all very good. The knives were surprisingly sharp. The basics for cooking were all there minus a few items…..need some tongs, a ladle and the wine glasses need some updating.The view was stunning. The deck got sun at 9am and had it through to sunset.We walked the beach each day and fished the beach and lagoon. The shelling was amazing particularly after the cold front brought in big waves.The pool was very good and had it to myself for laps early morning. Was a bit too loud later on in the day once the sun hit it.The parking was excellent. The gate security were all very good.The elevator was the most frustrating aspect of the trip. One of the three elevators was broken the entire 10 days. The two remaining were fine during slow hours (early morning and late) but in the peak hours, there were often 5-10 minute waits for one. Getting on at the 15th floor often had us stopping at every floor on the way down, typically turning away folks at every level as we were full up. We walked the stairs (15 floors) up and down a few times.

Family stay

We enjoyed the condo. However the pool was very disappointing. Having someone there to tell everyone what they can’t do was too much. Everyone was complaining. No fun at all. Would not recommend this place because of it

Nice condo

Marco Island is a beautiful place to vacation, the restaurants are outstanding and the beach is gorgeous. This specific condo was not what I was expecting it to be and has the absolute bare essentials for a vacation rental. It was nice for us because we are not too hard to please when visiting Florida, we’re just happy to be there. The unit has not been updated since the 90s, including the one small loveseat couch in the living room that severely needs to be replaced. There aren’t beach chairs and reminder, bring your own detergent if you want to do laundry.

Couldn’t stay :(

Unit was adorable and comfortable with a beautiful view! Unfortunately, we had to be moved because the blinds on the windows were broken and would not operate… property management moved us to different building and unit.. wasn’t a good start for our vacation and caused a lost day! Horizons put us in a nice unit but the view wasn’t quite as nice!

Sorry about the issue with the blinds. Turtle Nesting season does require that window treatments be operating property as no light is allowed on the beach after dark. Hopefully you enjoyed your stay and will return again. Peg
