Alquilar directamente de los propietarios. Pasamos meses remodelando este condominio para convertirlo en nuestra casa de playa perfecta y nos encantaría compartirlo con usted.

Vela mayor es un golfo cerrado complejo de la familia delante de 15 acres que se encuentra al otro lado de la calle desde el centro comercial de Silver Sands. Vela mayor es conveniente fabulosos campos de golf, pesca, ciclismo, tiendas, restaurantes, parques acuáticos, y muchos tipos de actividades de la familia!

La propiedad cuenta con 2 piscinas (una climatizada), una piscina para niños con zona infantil, bañera de hidromasaje, 4 canchas de tenis, gimnasio, sala de video juegos, parrillas, tejo y más.
Primer piso:
Tiene la nueva cocina, sala de estar con sofá de cuero que se convierte en una cama. Lavadora y secadora y baño de tamaño completo.

Segunda planta:
Dormitorio principal con cama king size
2do dormitorio con cama de matrimonio
Literas hechas a medida en el pasillo ... solo para niños. Límite de peso de 100 #.

TV en todos los 2 dormitorios, sala de estar

Good place, needs some TLC

A few items required repair upon arrival. One of the dining room chairs was taped together, the vertical blinds were missing several slats and difficult to open & close. One of the plastic patio chairs was broken as well. Door to the master bedroom would jam when opening and closing. No extra toilet paper either. Good private and quiet location though. Really liked the two balconies and patio areas. Short walk to the beach, where two chairs and an umbrella setup by the resort are available. A/C worked well and kept the unit cool, all new appliances and updated kitchen were nice as well. Would request the owners to repair the areas mentioned above and if I'm being really picky, add a bigger TV :) Enjoyed our stay! Would stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. We fixed all the items you mentioned. Sometimes people try to hide damage and this is why we always tell people to tell us as soon as something breaks, so we can fix it. We have 40 inch tvs in the living room and the master, but will look into getting bigger ones. The rooms are just spacious so they appear small ;-) Marcella Skis and Seas Vacation Rentals

Decent place but no beach view

Place was convenient to shops and restaurants few things could be fixed in condo, but all in all we had a good time you do have access to the beach just no beach view.

Everything was overall great. However, there were little things here and there that could’ve been better: 1) Multiple slats to the living room blinds were missing so we never had 100% privacy in there, 2) the towel rack in the Main Bath fell off while hanging a towel and slammed into my daughter’s foot, 3) the spa tub was very sub-par and didn’t work properly, 4) no Keurig :(. I know these things are minor but I expected everything to be flawless. Property location was great as it was a 5 minute walk to the beach and in a gated community. Other than the 3 things above, the stay was great!

Quiet and Clean

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Home is older, but recently updated. Very clean and had beach supplies for you to take to the beach (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys, etc). Our only complaint would be the comfort of the beds. They were all very hard and uncomfortable. I would ask that the property manager please add a mattress topper. Other than that, we loved the home and location.

Family had a great time!

The condo was really nice and spacious for our family of 9. The location is awesome! The beach is literally 2 mins away and you are very close to numerous restaurants and stores. I would definitely consider staying here again. We had an issue the first day, but management quickly handled the situation.

Wonderful location

This was the 2nd time staying at the Mainsail, but 1st time at this particular unit, and we will definitely be staying here again. It was more than enough room for my family of 4 with plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Love the location, close to shopping, groceries, restaurants and few steps off the beach. The pictures for this unit don’t do it justice and Marcella is wonderful!

It would be five stars if not for maintenance

The place is awesome; very well laid out, close to the beach, very clean, most anything you could want for the beach available to use such as chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. Unfortunately, we were woken up every single day except Sunday with maintenance working on the unit we were staying in. I love sleeping in on vacation and you can't do that when there are people two feet away from you using tools on the wall that separates your sleeping quarters from the outside. We arrived late the first night, and found out maintenance was working on the unit the next day when I left the shower, naked, to get dressed in our room and saw someone staring at me through the glass of the second story room window while they worked on our balcony. It was VERY uncomfortable; I'm conservative when it comes to showing skin. I emailed the owner, and while she was apologetic, she could have offered to reach out to maintenance and asked them to come another week, or asked when we'd be at the beach so they could come at that time instead of early in the morning when we're trying to sleep. Between losing sleep and the accidental indecent exposure, it ended up being a stressful and unrelaxing vacation. It would have been nice if the owner had offered something to make up for it, such as offering a later checkout or something to that effect. I'm glad she apologized, but she could have done more than that to make our stay better with very little effort on her part.

I am glad that you thought the place was so nice, we enjoy it as well. I am sorry there was contraction on our unit during your stay. Mainsail is doing a 4 month project this fall and we have no way of knowing their exact schedule and when they are working our unit. The master schedule said that they would be complete by the end of September, but got delayed due to numerous storms. We did place a general Mainsail construction notice on our listing to warn of potential contraction. I wish you would have let me know you would have liked a later check out, because that could have been easily arraigned and if you come back to Destin and decide to visit Mainsail again, please reach out to me and I will work something out for you.

Family beach getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay here, the short walk to the beach was no problem at all. The amenities were spot on as described and we would stay again. Our kids loved running up and down the stairs!

Absolutely wonderful

This place does not get justice from the pictures. Once you get inside it’s huge. The oversized bathrooms are amazing and the bottom floor has probably the largest living room and kitchen we’ve had in a condo. The convenience is the kicker though. We had a water hose outside to wash off all of our floats/chairs which was nice. You can park at the front door which made loading and unloading a piece of cake. I will book this place again!!!

Great location, great security, enjoyed close walk to the beach

We were disappointed with kitchen supplies. Very limited. Toaster did not work, no dish rags and only 1 kitchen towel. We did use grilling facility and it was very nice. Bath towels were fine but wash rags need to be replaced.

Very pleasant.

Marcella was awesome, very fast responding to my emails in regards to any quiestions we had. The unit is super spacious. Walking distance to the beach. We really enjoyed staying here.
