Located 1 block to the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Deja Blu is a beach inspired retreat perfect for your vacation. Our warm and inviting beach home welcomes you to sit back and relax.

Decorated in beachy chic with touches of the sea and reminders that you are at the beach, the main level is full of light from oversized patio doors. The kitchen is open to a dining area with a table for six and the living room with access to the patio furnished with a table for 4 and Adirondack chairs.

Two of the bedrooms feature a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom and access to a second balcony which overlooks the pool. The third bedroom has a set of bunkbeds with a twin over queen and a twin day bed. Each bedroom has a TV and includes crisp linens and plush towels from our professional linen company. A queen sized sofa bed is provided in the living room.

Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a full-sized washer and dryer.

The highlight of the tropical oasis backyard is the sparkling pool and spa with a sun shelf under a patio umbrella. Pool loungers, Adirondack chairs, and the outdoor shower make for a relaxing day basking in the island breeze. The covered pool side lounge area features patio sofa seating, a gas grill, TV and bar with seating for five. A ping pong table, pool table and cornhole provide extra fun for all.

Located in the city of Anna Maria, Deja Blu is close to everything the island has to offer. The free trolley stops nearby and travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches.

Great house, great location

Beautifully appointed house with a great front porch for sitting out and a nice pool area. Lots of activities for the kids at this property, too. And the location is fantastic, less than two blocks from the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great location, perfect house, beautiful beach

Perfect spot for a family vacation with our adult kids and their significant others! Short walk to the beach, we used the chairs and wagon provided. Also walking distance to restaurants and convenience store. The pool and spa area was perfect and a highlight of our stay. We used it everyday, mornings, afternoons and late night gatherings. There was plenty of shade and seating. The outdoor REC area was great too, with ping pong and cornhole games. There were plenty of towels and pool towels provided for the week and the kitchen had most things that were needed. We enjoyed the front deck too for morning coffee. The house was bright and open and we loved it. We had very few issues and nothing important enough to report. The place could use a good maintenance walk thru as many of the drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms needed to be repaired. When we arrived there was a strong odor of urine and we found the 2nd suite bathroom had not been properly cleaned with urine on the floor and wall behind and around the toilet, we bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it and there were no other problems. It must have been an oversight because the rest of the house was pretty clean. We loved our stay and would return to this house without hesitation.

Gorgeous house, PERFECT location

My husband and I stayed at Deja Blu in December with our three little ones (1, 3 and 5). It was a perfect set up and the house was beautiful and spotless. The pool area was great, warm for swimming even when we had some chilly days, shallow areas for lounging and playing. They had a beach wagon and tons of pool noodles. The beds were so comfortable, nice appliances, pretty updated bathrooms. Just all around great house. The location was the best we've stayed at in Anna Maria so far. Steps to some of our favorite restaurants and the easiest walk to a beautiful beach. There was an issue with the pool and they responded immediately and sent their team over to fix it within 30 minutes. The only con is that the supplied basics (paper towels, toilet paper, spices, coffee, coffee filters, etc.) are minimal or non existent so just be prepared to pick those things up for the stay. There are also are no baby items (crib, high chair, etc) so pack those as well. Besides that they have everything you need for cooking and TONS of towels for both bath and beach which was great. Overall our favorite stay in Anna Maria and can't say enough good things about the amazing house and location.

BEST AMI stay to date

We have stayed on the North end of AMI for the past five years and this house was hands down the best one yet! We loved the one block walk to the beach and three block walk to Pine Ave with all of the shops and restaurants. The entire house is new, clean and well laid out. Our boys loved the bunk beds and the master suite was spacious and comfortable. The downstairs layout is perfect for lounging by the pool, grilling, watching TV after a morning/day spent at the beach. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking supplies you need, although we enjoyed picking up most of the meals from our favorite restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will definitely be back!

Awesome Stay!

We were so happy with our stay at Deja Blu! The location is amazing, beach access is a 2 min walk, and its also super close to many restaurants in the area. Pool area was fantastic - super clean pool, and so many options to hang out, play corn hole, pool, etc... Very easy checkin/checkout, would absolutely stay again!

Great week on AMI

We spent a week on AMI and had a great experience at this property. It was an end of summer beach trip for us with my wife, 2 girls, and family that dropped in and out during the week. The house, pool, and location was awesome. Close to pine ave, beach, and all the to-do’s. House was very clean and accommodating. We had one issue with the A/C that was quickly resolved by the property manager, Anna Maria Life. They were very attentive and responsive through the entire trip. The only real dissatisfaction we had was the pillows, they left a lot to be desired. My wife actually Amazon’d some pillows to the house after the first night. Beds, sheets, towels were all great and comfortable but the pillows reminded me of something similar to what delta would give you on the red-eye from LAX to TPA. Understandably most of these rental properties use a linen service which I’m sure makes sense but it would be nice to see the caliber of pillows match the property. Other than that the property and managers were awesome! AML checked in multiple times to make sure everything was good and we were enjoying our stay. We own rental properties of our own and we’re impressed with the level of attentiveness AML gave to us as the tenant to ensure everything was satisfactory with our stay. We will definitely be back, just might bring our own pillows this time.

Nice House with Cons

For the price, we expected much better. Overall, nice house. Pros: Close to the beach. Nice decks. Nice patio furniture. Nice Kitchen. Nice TVs. Cons: Spare king size room is super dirty under the bed. Found a dead roach that was two inches long. Thermostat malfunctions. Was very hard to adjust. Couldn't figure out what lockbox had the spare keys and how to retrieve them. The absolute biggest con was the size of the pool is already a little smaller, but the cleaning equipment took over a good bit of the swimming area and instructions say to leave it alone. Very disappointing. No garage door opener. Must exit the vehicle, go around the side and into the garage. Then to the back corner to open it. Never stayed at a house where there was literally nothing in the cabinets food-related (spices, condiments…anything). I understand, but it was different. These may sound nit-picky, but we rent a different house every year at Anna Maria and this was the most we've paid with the most cons.

On the day of our arrival (saturday) we noticed the pool looked cloudy. We called AMLVR and they sent maintenance to change the filter. About an hour later we returned to find the pool pump shooting water and the pool draining. AMLVR had the pool company come out the next day to fix the pump and add chemicals. The pool cleared up by Monday;however the pump is not working correctly as the pool became cloudy and greenish again by Friday. The skimmer and filter does not pull water as it should. I'm writing this review with the hope that someone else won't go through what we did. AMLVR was very accommodating to the situation and called to check on us often. The property is lovely otherwise and we enjoyed our week in Deja Blu! Will definitely rent from AMLVR again!

Our stay

I would say everything was pretty good. However, there were some glitches. Drawers in the bathrooms were broken. We had to have a maintenance person come and help us with the fans because the remotes were all in the living room when we got there and we didn’t know what fans worked with what rooms. The maintenance person had to work on resetting some of the remotes in order for them to work each room. in the In addition, the fan down by the pool did not work. It was a really great location. There were several restaurants very close as well as the convenience store. Backyard is nice and secluded, even though you’re in a busy area.

Excellent, but a few notes to add

It was pretty much 5-stars across the board. It was so good that we will likely book the same home for our trip next year. However, here are a few things that may affect some families but really didn't bother us. - The 2nd “master” bedroom needs a need frame or the support below the bed replaced. I noticed a sag when we went to leave and when I looked under the bed, all the supports were snapped off. This had no effect on us as we just used that room for our baby and he slept in his pack-n-play, but if we had needed that bed for adults, it would have been a big downer. - The bunk bed is wobbly, like very (unsafe) wobbly and your face is right beside a ceiling fan. I think the entire bed needs a safety check because when I climbed up to get the sheets, it felt like it was going to tip over. Now I do weigh 160 lbs, but it said up to 175 lbs, and it felt like it was tipping. Again no major effect on our trip as we just let our 5 yr old and 3 yr old sleep in the bottom bunk (very large) together. However, if a family needed that upper bunk, god bless them on their journey. - It is a beach home with a lot of turnover, so a lot of this is par for the course. However, the home shows some wear & tear and for $6k-$7k per week, you need to understand the home is not flawless. Some drawers fall out in almost every room. Marks on a lot of the walls/ceilings. Beach chairs/umbrellas and toys (beach & pool) could use a refresher. - Pool was cloudy. New filter is needed.

Amazing Vacation Rental

We spent an amazing week in this vacation rental on AMI. The location was amazing (close to a phenomenol beach; restaurants; and centrally located to all the island has to offer). We'd highly recommend renting a golf cart, as it is the best way to get around the island. Also, per the rental's check-in details--you need to pick up supplies to stock the rental for the week (trash bags, dishwasher/laundry pods, paper towels, toilet paper, and any cookiing and storage supplies you'll need as they are not provided). That said, we've stayed at numerous places on AMI and found this rental a perfect fit (for reference, we traveled with my husband and I, plus three boys--10, 14 and 16).

Great house and location!

The pictures show the house accurately - Fantastic Rental on AMI! Check in was easy and the house was very clean. There was a storm the day prior, so the outside was a little disheveled. On day 2, the Pool team was there, and things looked great again! The location was great as well! 2min walk to the Trolley bus stop and there wasn't a reason to even get in our rental van the whole week! There were 2 adults and 1 toddler staying. Although we didn't spend a lot of time inside the house, it may have felt a little tight sleeping 8. Two small families would fit perfect though(4 adults 3-4 small kids)!

The property had a great pool/hot tub. Awesome location. The instructions weren't totally clear, however. Especially the pool/hot tub. Also there were some broken cabinets in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. The tv outside kept turning on. We had a great time!

Great pool home for 2 families

We rented this house with another family with a total of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. This is an excellent location with a short walk to the beach though I'd recommend renting a golf cart to enjoy zipping around the island. The indoor living space was clean and offered everything we needed to enjoy a week at the beach. It was a huge plus to have a private pool and outside entertainment area to hang out and relax in the shade. We had a few minor issues that were quickly fixed by the management company and would certainly stay again. Thanks!

Wedding Weekend

We stayed here for our wedding weekend, the house is perfectly situated a block from the beach, recently renovated and very well finished. House was spotless with everything that we needed. Rooms are spacious and the lower pool deck and bar were enjoyed by all. My only complaint and it really is minor is that the dining table is very small. Would definitely rent this property again.

First Vaca AMI Style

AMI was exactly what the family needed before the sunset on Summer and rolled into Fall. The house was in a great location, close proximity to the beach, Pine Ave, restaurants, ice cream, shops, etc. The backyard and pool setup was nice for the times you wanted a break from the beach or just a quick relaxing cool down swim. The home was a good fit for our family of 6. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the home.

Great property and location

This property was just recently renovated and it is just beautiful. It is in a perfect location more toward the north end of the island just off the main road and a very short one block walk to the beach and some good restaurant options. Pine street is also just a ffew short blocks away. The property was clean and well stocked for our family of 5. We rented this home for 6 weeks during Feb and March and it served us well. The outdoor area is a nice getaway with lots of furniture options to sit and relax. There are 2 outdoor decks (one on the front of the house and one on the back) both with chairs for sitting, reading and there is a table in the front for working or dining. The garage has some beach supplies as well. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking supplies (bakeware, cookware and utensils). There are TVs in all rooms with access to Netflix and other stuff although we couldn't get the regular channels to work in the bedrooms. The house can comfortably sleep 8 people. We would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent property

Our family of four loved our stay. The pictures were true to the actual house and the pool was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property

This house was absolutely perfect for a getaway with our friends. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside entertaining area/pool was amazing. We spent most of our time at the pool & hot tub which was done very nicely. We couldn't recommend this house enough!
