Durante el huracán Michael, el paraíso de Pappy fue bendecido por haber recibido un daño mínimo. Desde las secuelas de Michael, hemos realizado las reparaciones necesarias para abrir nuestra casa una vez más este verano a aquellos que aman el área de la playa de México / Port Saint Joe. Michael fue la tercera tormenta más poderosa en la historia de los Estados Unidos y ha dejado una destrucción devastadora en su camino. Causó la pérdida de muchos sitios y negocios icónicos en la playa de México y sus alrededores, pero la gente de esta área no ha permitido que esto disuada su espíritu y trabaje incansablemente para reconstruir esta hermosa costa.

Varios de los restaurantes en la playa de México han reabierto después de una limpieza exhaustiva o el uso de una estructura temporal y las empresas y restaurantes de Port Saint Joe están casi funcionando nuevamente en sus ubicaciones originales. Las playas de san Joe Beach (entre Port St. Joe y Mexico Beach), donde se encuentra Pappy’s Paradise, son abiertos y hermosos. Los huéspedes seguramente disfrutarán de unas vacaciones inolvidables en esta casa completamente amueblada de 4 dormitorios / 4 baños con vista al golfo. Tres habitaciones tienen cama king-size, mientras que la otra habitación está amueblada con una cama queen-size, así como una habitación litera para niños con una cama litera doble / tamaño completo. Las cuatro habitaciones tienen un baño privado adjunto.

Toda la casa es cómoda para dormir 11 personas. La hermosa sala de estar de concepto abierto con paredes de ciprés está amueblada para acomodar cómodamente a los huéspedes mientras se relajan. La cocina es perfecta para cenar, ya que está totalmente equipada con utensilios de cocina.

Una gran mesa de picnic familiar en la planta baja es perfecta para aquellos refrigerios a mitad del día para repostar y volver a jugar en la arena blanca.

Situado cerca de la playa, los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de una tarde de juegos, natación, relajarse bajo el cálido sol y luego ver la puesta de sol desde el porche delantero.

Perfect and super clean

We absolutely loved our stay at Pappy's Paradise! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The kitchen was very well stocked, making meal preparations a breeze. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Girl's trip

Our girl's trip to Mexico Beach was another wonderful experience staying at your beautiful home. It was so nice having so much room and plenty of bathrooms for all of us. The home was equipped with everything we could need. The cleanliness of the home was excellent, and we loved the convenience to the beach, which wasn't crowded. We all went to Mexico Beach and had a wonderful time. House is very clean, perfect place to enjoy family. Outdoor shower, all 4 rooms have king size bed, tv and bathroom! We will definitely stay again!!

Family Beach trip

We loved our stay at Pappy's paradise! There was plenty of room for all the family, we loved having so many bathrooms and the big table for the whole extended family to sit at together. We loved the quick walk to the beach, the beach was beautiful and not crowded at all!!! The outdoor shower was super convenient to rinse off and help keep sand out of the house! We are sharing this property with friends and would come back to the same property again! Thank you for a great week woth great memories!

Summer 30A Spot

We’ve always stayed north of Panama City for our beach trips but have really gotten tired of the over crowded - “condo tower” beaches. This quaint little spot was very nice and offers a great experience for the sportsman or lazy beach goer. Bay-side walk to the beach was so easy. Or you can just take a short car ride to Cape San Blas or St George Island for sunbathing, snorkeling and fishing. Pappy's was perfect for our party of 7 and is closely located to great restaurants or the grocery. It has a very well appointed kitchen if you like to cook what you catch or buy at three great seafood markets. We loved that each room has its own bathroom, although we all waited in line for the out door shower! The deck was great for afternoon cocktails or morning coffee- an we loved that we got to watch blue angels and raptors conduct fly by’s. This place is really nice and the owners are very friendly and responsive. Overall wonderful experience!

Fabulous!

Wonderful property! Plenty of room for our large group to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need when you want to stay in. Nikki is a delight to work with: she's always responsive and has great suggestions for local places.

We had just what we needed at Pappy’s Pardise

I booked Pappy’s because I was looking for a location that was not crowded, had easy access to the beach and a view of the sunset over the ocean from the house. It turned out that Pappy’s became more than we expected. We had a tragic family loss and were able to bring in two of our sons from Brooklyn and one of our daughters in Arizona. My husband, college sophomore and our 5th grader were all able to meet at Pappy’s and memorialize my husband’s sister. It was a unique experience and will never blend into any other beach trip. We had so much space on the sand for ourselves. We gave tribute to our loved one and ended every day with dancing on the shore. Pappy’s had plenty of room for the seven of us, and we could not have been happier with the home or the owner (and fam) who went out of their way to make our trip as special as possible.

Awesome vacation for our entire family and friends!

We have a family of five with my wife and I and three grown (18 - 22) children. When we go on vacation the "kids" love to take a friend but it's not always easy to find a place for eight adults that is both comfortable and affordable. This is it! I've never been much for staying anywhere other than directly on the beach, so I was a little concerned. My concerns were completely forgotten as soon as we arrived. The house is close enough to the beach that you can see it, hear it and smell it. But the best part was the amazing house! Four big bedrooms with king beds! Room for everyone. What's better? Every room had a private bath! There was even an extra room with two additional beds that would be perfect for other children. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking many meals at home. You'll want to plan that as there aren't a ton of restaurants, like Destin or Panama. But the ones we tried were all excellent. There are two Dollar General's and a Piggly Wiggly within in a short drive for supplies, but I also recommend bringing all you can since the food prices are slightly higher on the beach. The best part about this property is the communication with the owner. Nikki was awesome! She stayed in touch with is and made certain we had all of our needs and expectations met. We will definitely be returning here as soon as time allows! Put this one on your favorite list and be sure to check it out!

Best Rental Ever !!

This home has the perfect floor plan for a large group. We each had our own room and bathroom. Exceptionally well stocked with kitchen supplies, bath towels, and just over all the entire home was wonderful. The walk to the beach is easy. The manager checked in and made sure all was well and check in process was simple!

Pappy’s Place was a hit!

Beautiful home, Lovely owners

Beautiful, well appointed home. This was our second time to rent Pappy's Paradise. There was plenty of room for our large group to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and accommodated cooking for our large group. The owners are lovely and so easy to work with. Will definitely rent again.

Absolutely Amazing

Where do I begin?!?!! From the first time I spoke with Nikki I felt like we have known each other for years. She was easy to work with and so down to earth. Pappys Paradise is absolute pure perfection. You can tell Nikki and her family poured sweat and lots of love into building this house. There’s even little picture books they made to show the progress of building the house and it just made it feel more like home. The pictures online do not do the house justice. It is beautiful! The porch, the AMAZING KITCHEN, the rooms, THE SHOWERS, water pressure, every bathroom had its own hair dyer and straightener, the kids nook. The house has everything you can think of. The neighborhood is quite and all the neighbors are so friendly! Very short walk and easy access to the beach. Walking distance to Shipwreck Raw Bar which if you love oysters like we do then that place hands down the best fresh oysters we’ve had!! The rest of the menu was just as good and the service was amazing. We spent the week of making lots of family memories that will last a lifetime! Dancing and singing on the porch to all the cooking and laughing in the kitchen!! I could go on and on about how perfect this house and location are but just take my word and book with Pappy’s Paradise and you won’t be disappointed!!! We will definitely be returning guest!! Absolute Perfection

Everything about our experience with Pappys Paradise was exceptional. The house was beautifully decorated and extremely functional. As a large family all staying together, we each felt we had our own space since each room provided its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the best part was being a short walk from the beach. We love Port St Joe and will surely be back in the future.

Great Beach House!

This house was very clean and well maintained and perfect for our group of 11. The owners made sure everything was in order and there were no issues to resolve after we arrived. The property was exactly as described. The outdoor shower was great to have available. The area was quiet with friendly neighbors and a good location from both Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. Seven days went way to quickly; we all wanted to stay longer!

Great place to make memories!

Beach trip 2017- 11 adults and 3 children-we had a fabulous time with my parents and adult children and grandchildren. Love that everyone has their own private bath and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and we enjoyed the porch and the hammocks. The only request would be to have King beds in all bedrooms and it would be great to have a picnic table for outside dinning. The beach is right across the street with easy access! Would definitely be a return visitor.

Awesome place to relax

We took our family of 4 and another family of 3 along with a college student. The decor of the home is BEAUTIFUL!! There is more than enough room for everyone. Just a walk across the street from the beach. Located close enough to stores and restaurants.

When we are not following our almost-grown daughters or watching the Georgia Bulldogs you will find us on the sugary white sands of St. Joe Beach visiting our Magellan Street family.

Our family has vacationed in the Mexico Beach, St. Joe Beach, Cape San Blas area for over 20 years. In 2016 we decided to make SJB our second home and began the process of building. What started out as a multi-owned family home between my sisters, our parents and I moved to a single-family owned home by my husband and I last fall (2022). We have shared many life moments with our families and friends in Pappy's Paradise and most of our renters are repeat vacationers.
