Pura Vida - Vacation Rentals by Five Star Properties

Pura Vida, located in North Forest Beach is the perfect luxury rental home in Hilton Head for your family's vacation to the low country. Only 1 row back from the beach and sleeping a total of 19, you'll definitely have no worries here.

Upon entering the home, you'll find a spacious living area with HDTV, wet bar including a refrigerator, dishwasher, and ice machine, and access to the first five bedrooms. The glass sliding doors open up to the amazing outdoor patio with private pool and over-flowing spa. You'll love the outdoor shower leading up to the patio after a long, sandy day at the beach.

The first floor bedrooms include a king bed in bedroom, a king bed in the second bedroom, 2 full beds in the third bedroom, 2 twin-bunk beds in the fourth bedroom, and a king and twin in the fifth bedroom. All bedrooms have HDTVs and private bathrooms.

On the main level you'll find a spacious kitchen with tons of counter space, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, and a huge refrigerator. You'll be happy to find a formal dining area for family dinner nights in off of the kitchen as well as an informal, open-concept dining area next to the main living area. The balcony off of the living area offers gorgeous ocean views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the laid-back, sitting area off the living room with ocean views and access to the balcony.

You'll find the sixth bedroom on the main floor with a king bed, HDTV, private bathroom, and access to the balcony.

Upstairs on the third floor you'll find the master bedroom with private balcony with the most amzing ocean views. The bedroom is complete with HDTV and private en suite.

Beautiful house close to the beach. Quiet street with only local traffic. Nicely furnished and enough rooms in the house to be together or alone. Comfortable beds; Great garage. Bonus pool table and great little pool area. Up to date kitchen and tables big enough to seat all 10 of us.

Best vacation in years!

Amazing property! We had 14 people at times and it never felt crowded! Everyone had their own private, quiet space and their own bathroom! Just a fantastic place!

Great Location!

Walkable to the beach. Fun and clean house. Be sure to bring your own essentials though. No salt/pepper, shampoo, etc.

Beautiful home, well-appointed. Only a few steps to the beach.

Our family of 16 with 5 little ones was perfect! The home is even better than what the photos depict. You will not be disappointed!

Floors were very dirty, 3rd floor shower did not work, and a couple toilets did not work(messaged host while there but no one came). Great location and size, accurate bed count!

Hilton head vacation

House is huge. Closed to the beach and shops. Everything was in walking distance. Management was awesome. Communicates really well and quick to respond with requests. I would come back here again.

AWESOME Location and very nice house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is fantastic and wonderfully convenient. Overall the house is very nice and comfortable. It is awesome having so many of the bedrooms on the bottom floor which really gave the kids a place to hang out. We had several little challenges but the maintenance team was prompt in addressing them. Definitely a place that we would stay again!!

We absolutely loved the location. Only one complaint is the pool turned hair green and bathing suits. Pool service man tried fix but did not help. Otherwise, we loved our stay at this beautiful home and totally exceeded our needs.

Best 2nd Row house in HH

This was the 7th time that we have stayed here since 2008. Easy walk to the beach, huge house with lots to do. The management company was the best that we have ever had. I sent an email letting them know that the broom that we had was broken @ 9:00pm one night and had a new broom with dust pan by 10:00am the next day. Answered every question very quickly!! JUST A GREAT VACATION!!!

Moms 80th

House was excellent. House was clean and had everything that we needed to make our birthday weekend a success. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool deck area. We were expecting a bigger area for us all to enjoy the pool. We did have an issue with plumbing, but the property management company sent someone over right away and fixed it so all in all I give this review of five star

Great Winter Retreat!!

Celebrated a belated Christmas with our family of 16. The house was ample to sleep our family plus more! No airbed or sofa sleeping!! The location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach - no busy road to cross!! We lacked for almost nothing on our stay. Management company responded quickly and fairly to a question/issue we encountered. The elevator was nice for grandpa's knees and for luggage/grocery movement. This house has a perfect location, was clean and well stocked, and is a great choice for large families looking to relax and enjoy all that Hilton Head has to offer!!

Worst Rental Company

The house is run down and falling apart, the rental company refused to fix broken toilets, broken oven, broken ice maker

Susan, We were in communication with you throughout your stay. The oven has been replaced and maintenance was sent for the toilets. They are not "broken", they are low flow toilets. All issues have been addressed.

Good House, Great location, Shoddy Hottub

Based on reviews and pics, I knew the house would be a little outdated. However, the space and location was great! I only complaint, and after SEVERAL attempts, the hottub was never beyond lukewarm. The property mgmt team was super responsive each time, but the problem was never resolved. This was very unfortunate considering we paid for it to be heated and it was a chilly weekend.

Mold Mold Mold—— BEWARE

Mold was the biggest issue with this home. The elevator was marked out of order. But on the other side of the door was incredible mold. This needs to be reported to the Health dept. unfortunately the rental agency didn’t respond to our calls nor our emails regarding the mold issue and our vacation ended July 13. We deserve a refund

Awesome propery

My family and I loved this house and the location. Due to Covid, we all quarantined 2 weeks before arriving and only traveled outside to take walks on the beach which was within a block of the house. Meredith, with 5 Star Properties, responded quickly and assisted when we needed help with the operation of the pool and Spa, which were well used over our stay. There was a problem with the operation of the elevator, which in all fairness was out of the control of the Property Management, but did cause a concern for one of our party who had mobility issues. However, this issue was addressed and resolved in a manner that was as fair as possible given the circumstances. I highly recommend this house and would definitely rent another property with this Management Company. We had a great time!

No Pool or Spa

Everything was very dingy and worn. We were not notified about heating the pool until the day before check in and then we were told we had to ask 7 days in advance. A little late for that. The Wifi password was wrong and my son found a password on another router and we used that. If you are cooking a big family meal, you might want to bring big bowls and hand mixer with you. We really did enjoy ourselves, Because our goal was to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. But for what I paid I guess i was expecting a little more. Our son is a Marine and we invited people from his base that didn't have family close by to hang out with.

Unfortunately, our experience during our stay was disappointing. While the location was perfect, the home itself required significant maintenance.The microwave was not working from the day we arrived and, although it was removed, it was never replaced during our stay. The pool filter also was not functioning properly, and despite calling maintenance on three separate occasions, the issue kept happening.Additionally, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms and the ice maker were both non-functional. Maintenance informed us that these were outdated and would not be replaced. They did respond to unclog the bathtub, which was overflowing, but overall, the response to the other issues was lacking.Given the cost of the rental, we were surprised and disappointed by the lack of attention to these basic amenities.

Unfortunately the pool was green they tried to remedy but I think there is an issue with it. Also with little kids all the steps in and around the pool were dangerous and the steps in the pool had sharp concrete. Overall the house furniture was dated but the location was amazing. 2nd row and a nice beach path. The elevator was not working out entire stay (they told me someone would come out Thursday and no one did) and with a broken ankle made it difficult to get around. Overall the space in the bedrooms/bathrooms/closets was larger than expected based on the photos. It was a good setup. Would have liked to love it all and book again with the location but due to the pool and cleanliness of it, it won’t work for our family again next year unfortunately.

Overall a very good experience. The house is beautiful with great/easy access to the beach. The A/C works great. The rooms are big. There were a few things that could use fixing. The pool was chipped throughout and caused scrapping to the feet and knees. One of the shower heads didn’t work so the person staying in that room had to use someone else’s shower. There were two nails that we found on the ground (one by the pool and one in the driveway) that we almost stepped on. The cleaners were there when we arrived and past the check in time (4pm) and were obviously rushed. There was no broom/dust pan. There were no instructions for the tub in one of the master bedrooms or the hot tub about how to use it. The hot tub was normal pool temperature and not hot. We needed a replacement propane tank so had to audible to a different meal. The toilets take forever to flush and you have to hold it down for upwards of 30 seconds. Furnitures old…1st world problems…but for the money we spent we were hoping for only 1 or 2 of those things. The communication between host and myself was great.

GREAT LOCATION, NICE HOME

clean and spacious, nice to have two kitchens. Great pool and hot tub. Very limited lighting, Wi-Fi keeps kicking out, need some instruction about pool that are readable.
