Very nice 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhome in the popular gated community, Barrier Dunes. This 1369 sq. foot unit is located across from the interior side pool and near the tennis courts for easy access. Each of the upstairs bedrooms feature cable TV, and the living area comes complete with cable TV/VCR/DVD. A fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, outside shower-this beauty has it all! Easy beach access throughout the complex. The main living level features one bedroom (daybed) and a hall bath. The upper level features 2 bedrooms each with a private bath. Located just outside the gates of St. Joseph State Park. VERY NICELY FURNISHED!

2024 Summer Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very relaxed week at his year. Good weather for the week albeit so hot but not that unusual. We had double red flags all week but we still enjoyed the beach and the bay activities regardless.

Clean Unit, Close to pool, 5 min walk to beach

Cleanliness is my top priority. A+. It’s a walk to the beach and the clubhouse pool but there is another pool nearby. Thick walls so you barely hear anyone next door. The staircase was hard for my senior mom because it was more than anticipated and she needed to drive to the beach or clubhouse pool because of the walk. The two upstairs bedrooms don’t have very supportive beds but did love that the bedrooms each had their own bathroom. There was 7 of us and we were not crowded, there’s great use of space. Downstairs bedroom and sofa bed were comfortable enough. No bugs inside. We enjoyed the family atmosphere of the gated Barrier Dunes community and the beaches are lovely! Ps. The coffee maker is standard drip.

Great property

Condo is great. Everything worked great. highly recommend. The property management company was very professional at checkin and check out. However they were a little sloppy / unprofessional before. I had to call and ask them about my 2nd payment (I didnt get any notice, etc from them to pay it, I just had it on a calendar and had to email to get the amounts and make the payment) at which time I was told that I would need to send them a check for the security deposit (instead of charging deposit to my card), or buy an insurance policy but you don't get it back. This was really the only blemish on the whole trip. The place was terrific

Great place for a family vacation!

Barrier Dunes was an awesome choice for our family vacation! The home was clean, well-described, and close to the pool, tennis courts and beach. The location was absolutely beautiful! The internet connection was the only downfall. It was spotty at best, and phone calls were frequently dropped. We will definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great. When they say there is a lack of basic essentials, they truly mean it. I even had to buy trash bags, toilet paper and coffee filters (that I left for the next people.) Overall the place is great though. Grill worked, the walk to the beach was easy, and the neighborhood was beautiful. Oh, the pool at the club house is way nicer than the one next to the house.Oh, skip Longbills for dinner. They are REALLY light on the seafood and heavy on the carbs. $8.99 for a kids meal with 3 shrimp- where my shrimp at?

Great Time

This condo was super clean and in a great location close to the pool. Everything was in working condition; however, the balconies really need to be updated. The nails are rusty and sticking out on the decks. You cannot walk on them barefooted. There was no dish soap, paper towels or dish detergent when we arrived so plan for that. There are also no cookie sheets for baking. Everything else was great. Thanks for having us.

Pleased

The town house was very nice—3bed, 3 bath Overall very clean— A short walk to the beach. Nice gated community . Served us very well for this time of social distancing. We did not want a location with tons of people. Cone Heads became a favorite restaurant for us as we ate there 3 different times — I would definitely stay at this townhouse again

One big dog pound

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo and facility ok but won’t be back due to multiple guests allowing their dogs to run loose on the beach. There are signs everywhere requiring all dogs to be leashed but many dog owners think they are above the law. So dogs that were running loose caused dogs who were properly leashed to constantly bark. Like being at a dog pound with the constant barking. Won’t be back.
