Great property, very clean and the hosts were great. Would definitely stay there again.

A new friend from the great state of Florida had a ride of a lifetime on his Goldwing to Alaska, and we got to be part of it! Alaska is everything for a vacation on steroids, Alaska is just bigger, more beautiful and tons of fun! Very happy we were able to experience some of our Alaskan beauty with Michael, Any time, any place we would love to host him, his friends, and all of his family!

Successful visit!

This VRBO is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with so many amenities! This was perfect for the 4 adults with private bedrooms but great living room for watching tv or playing board games.

Visiting family

Fred and Josette were welcoming and their retreat was very peaceful amd comfortable. We enjoyed the relaxing space during a family visit. While we spent much time with family the space was clean and full of great amenities.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mountain Vista retreat. There were many thoughtful details and the property is beautiful. I was most impressed with the attention to detail during my stay and the personal touches that made us feel welcome.

Great location

Fred and Josette are great hosts. I originally looked into the property based on it being centrally located between Palmer and Wasilla. But found out this place was much more. Nice, caring hosts and a roomy comfortable two bedroom apt. Worked out perfectly for us.

Just like home

Our hosts were very thoughtful down to the last detail. This was ideal for the baby and pup. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The kitchenette is very small, but that worked for us as we planned to enjoy the local restaurants for dinner. They have an excellent library of dvd's and books on Alaska!

We were on Harleys and they went above and beyond to help us. The house was perfect. They felt more like good friends and we were sad to leave. Thanks for everything.

Perfect little spot

We had a great time. This property was located really close to my family. They had coffee and water in the unit, which was great. We spent most of our time exploring AK, so we just needed a place to sleep at night. The property was clean and easy to access. Communication from hosts was great. We would definitely use it again!

In Alaska on Business

Conveniently located near Shopping and Dining in Wasilla and Palmer. Nice accommodations. The only concern would be handicapped access as the unit is down some steps against a hillside. Sure footed people should have no problem.

Peaceful neighborhood.

Owners very pleasant and helpful. Spacious. Clean. Largest dvd collection I've ever seen - I estimated more than 600 titles. Also nice selection of novels and table games. And a small but impressive collection of classical literature!

Great place in Palmer

We had an awesome stay at this property. Fred and Josette went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Josette took me to the grocery store upon my arrival because we were having car problems. She also provided a dog kennel for one of my dogs to stay in. There was an awesome DVD collection at our disposal - over 100 DVDS. Also lots of books, and magazines were available for us to read. The beds were very comfortable, and the living area had very comfortable furniture. Highly recommend for your stay!

Beauty and family friendly.

I absolutely loved the space inside. Out of around 10 places I've stayed from Girdwood to the Valley it was the only place that had a guest book and binder of all the things you could see and do. The place was nice and cool, so I could layer for comfort or just turn the fireplace on in the morning. It was great having books to choose from. I left 5 of my own that I read. The only downside was mosquitoes. It would have been an absolute treat to have a screened in area to enjoy the outside more. Got to play a little soccer with one of the grandkids. A great place to stay.

Wonderful hosts

My daughter and son in law were just married. They did extra special things to help them feel welcome and celebrate, such as a bouquet of flowers, with some chilled sparkling cider with their names congratulating them and flower pedals in a heart shape on their bed since the hosts knew that they were just wed. They were extra thoughtful in every way while giving the newly wed couple their privacy. I am so grateful for their extra special touches with making this the perfect place for my daughter and son in law to honeymoon. Everything was just perfect. ❤️
