Hankering to know what "the tiny house" movement is all about? Here’s your chance: this petite retreat has everything you need for a great vacation in “America’s last hometown.”
The location is ideal: Pacific Grove’s charming downtown is just a short stroll away: cafes, restaurants, bistros, galleries, boutiques, antique shops, and a cinema.
Lover’s Point and the Beach House Restaurant are only a few blocks in the other direction, as is the Coastal recreational trail (Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium are just over a mile away).
This cheery, compact cottage has one bedroom and a bath with a shower. There’s a small patio out back with a dining table, four chairs, a bench and a barbecue.

Wonderful location and cute house

We had a very comfortable 4 night stay here. Easy walk along the beach to visit the Aquarium. Super quick walk to some great restaurants in Pacific grove.

Birthday Week

Stayed at this wonderful hustiric home for 4 nights, after staying at the Monterey Zoo for a couple nights. What a perfect location. Walking distance to the ocean and shops. Had all the amenities we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet cottage in perfect location.

The Tiny House is more like a cottage or bungalow. Spacious for two people. Nice having a washer and dryer. And a nice full kitchen. Location is amazing, a few blocks from Lovers Point and trail along the bluffs and an easy walk into Monterey. Lots of restaurants very near by. Owner Kyle was super responsive to a couple questions we had. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A big tiny house!

Even though it’s tiny, it has plenty of room for two people with a good sized bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The location is excellent in a very quiet neighborhood where a car passes by about once every 10 minutes. Yet, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the shops of Pacific Grove. It’s also a similar short walk to the beach in the other direction. It took about 25 minutes to do the VERY SCENIC walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium along the ocean/bay. It’s a short drive to Carmel and another short drive beyond to Big Sur. Check-in and communication worked well. Yes, we’ll be back!

Tiny House

A cute tiny house in Pacific Grove. Close to downtown, Lovers Point, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the 17 Mile Drive, and the costal trail. The house was well equipped and everything worked just fine. Highly recommend

Cozy, safe and comfortable - A home away from home

This house is in a friendly and safe neighborhood, a short walk to shops, restaurants, farmers market, coastal vista points and the butterfly sanctuary. This cozy small house is perfect for a couple. Enhancement suggestions: (1) an extra blanket or comforter would be nice to have, (2) a few more dishes, cups, and silverware would make life easier, (3) kitchen basics like salt and pepper, sugar, some coffee supplies and teabags are usually available in other vacation rentals but not found in this house.

A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION

It was just as advertised, small, but well furnished house with all the comforts of home in a tiny space. There was a little mixup with the code, however, it was straightened out in a few minutes and all was well. Kitchen was nicely furnished for us and included a tea kettle which was most convenient. Towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. On the whole it was a success for us.

Family Vacation for Small Family

My wife, daughter (21 months), and I enjoyed a 3 day stay at this property. It’s perfect for walking to Lovers Point and the Aquarium. The property was great, plenty of living room space, kitchen was stocked with the cooking essentials, and the bedroom was great for us 3. Our daughter slept in the bed with us. A pack and play or portable crib would fit in the living room but would likely be tight in the bedroom. There is a small park about a 3 minute walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again as a couple or as a family of 3 (maybe 4, if one child sleeps in the living room).

Very nice not-so-tiny house

This tiny house was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was loaded for everything you would need to cook a full course meal. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and safe. Within walking distance of a really nice breakfast restaurant. Only negative I would say is that a small coffee table for the sofa and maybe a small ottoman would be good for the living room. We didn't call the Property Manager's office because everything worked perfectly and had no problems. Liked the electronic lock; made it so easy to come and go without forgetting keys. Will definitely try to reserve this house next trip to PG.

Bigger than you might think

Although its called A Tiny House, and by a lot of standards it IS tiny, we found there was more than enough room for two of us with decent sized living, kitchen and sleeping areas. Even the parking , described as 'small car only', was big enough for our rented 7-seater Chrysler Voyager people carrier. Anything wider than that probably wouldn't get in but there is plenty of on-street parking outside, so there are no parking issues to worry about at all. The house is well-equipped, very clean and tidy and in a quiet neighbourhood only a couple of minutes walk from Lover's Point. We enjoyed staying here and would do so again, so if you are a couple or travelling solo this property is all you need and we highly recommend it.

Cosy and comfortable

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The street was very quiet with little to no traffic, and it has a number of historic houses dating to the late 1800's (including the Tiny House!). It's a pleasant 9-minute walk to the seashore. The only downside we noticed was that the smart TV was very slow and balky to operate. However, it does work eventually.

This historic property has been freshly renovated and is very comfortable and functional. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Bay and excellent restaurants.

Details about the house

A fact sheet for the house would be helpful,e.g., dishwasher controls are hidden under the counter and no way to know when it is finished; microwave locks itself in use and unlock is difficult to find without instructions; kitchen trash is under the cabinet to the left of the stove. Faucets on the bathroom sink are very difficult to turn and the plug is difficult to raise and lower. Sign above the toilet can be worded more nicely.

Charming cozy retreat

A wonderful historic house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Lover’s Point and the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail. Also near downtown Pacific Grove, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and 17-Mile Drive. The tiny house has one bedroom, one bath with shower only, bright kitchen/dining area, living room, and small outdoor spaces. There’s even a handy stacked washer and dryer! Highly recommend for a quiet getaway near California’s beautiful coastline.

Lovely little place in great location

The house is comfortable and the location excellent, right near lover's point, walk to town, the aquarium, the beach.Everything you need is provided. Despite it being near the most popular beach in the area, it is very quite on the street.

Ideal spot

This is a great location, with a 10 minute walk to the ocean, downtown and the Monday farmers market.The house had everything we needed and was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Pacific Grove

Clean, well equipped tiny house for two. Short walk to downtown and beach. Quiet neighborhood. Quick communication and immediate help from the Property Manager when we needed it. We travel to Pacific Grove frequently and will stay here again.

Great place to spend the holiday!

We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. Close to everything and a nice little spot to spend the Christmas holiday. Very clean and well appointed in the kitchen. Everything we hoped for!

Stellar stay in Pacific Grove

The Tiny House perfectly suited our needs: cozy, very clean, and fabulous proximity to the downtown and the water. The amenities were many - dishwasher, washer/dryer, nice oven and spacious fridge. A perfect getaway for two people. We even entertained our daughter and partner for dinner! We will definitely book this place the next time we come to Pacific Grove.
