Hankering to know what "the tiny house" movement is all about? Here’s your chance: this petite retreat has everything you need for a great vacation in “America’s last hometown.”
The location is ideal: Pacific Grove’s charming downtown is just a short stroll away: cafes, restaurants, bistros, galleries, boutiques, antique shops, and a cinema.
Lover’s Point and the Beach House Restaurant are only a few blocks in the other direction, as is the Coastal recreational trail (Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium are just over a mile away).
This cheery, compact cottage has one bedroom and a bath with a shower. There’s a small patio out back with a dining table, four chairs, a bench and a barbecue.

The location was amazing, and my husband and I had a wonderful stay while celebrating our anniversary. The Tiny House was a great home base for our time in Monterey, and we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fantastic location.

Great location, Adorable house. Easy to find and good street parking. Quiet neighborhood. House is perfect for 2. Found furniture comfortable , home is welcoming. It is an older house so if you need power on both sides of the bed, let then know or bring an extension cord. Had a minor issue and called the service line. Got support within 5 min of calling. Will be back.

Cozy, comfy

Perfect space for just us two. Great location, bed is comfy, kitchen well equipped for prepping meals in and quiet surroundings. Monterey Rentals has always been responsive to any needs. After years of visiting Monterey Bay, we have learned to stay a full week arriving Sunday, exiting Saturday avoiding heavy traffic both ways. We’ve found our nest for many return visits.

Anniversary getaway!

The tiny house was perfect for our anniversary getaway! The place had everything we needed and the location is perfect for walking down to Lovers Point and beach areas and up to Pacific Grove where there are plenty of great restaurants and shops to enjoy!

Very pleasant stay at this tiny house.Ideal location in Pacific Grove for walking to the shore, shops, restaurants and the Grove Market grocery store.Very quiet street. Tiny house nicely appointed with comfortable sitting area, well-equipped kitchen and nice bedroom. The bathroom is a bit small but certainly functional. We would definitely stay here again.

Very late review but our stay in December was perfect. Plenty of street parking outside of the parking space provided. Short walk from iconic Monterey views. Highly recommend for couples looking to get away from the Bay Area.

Long weekend in PG

The place worked out well for the two of us. Kitchen was great. Location is great. TV in living room needed some messing with to get it to work. Like it was new and needed to be configured first. Bathroom is just ok. Shower area could use better lighting. Need a closet for the vacuum / cleaning stuff. Living room area definitely smelled like someone was smoking cigars. Don't know if someone actually smoked inside your place or if the smoke came from neighbors next door. But, overall it worked well for us and we'd come back.

The Tiny house is in a sweet location - 5 minutes walk from Pacific Grove's central commercial area on Lighthouse Avenue, and 5 minutes walk the other way to Lover's Point. Wow! Passionfish, Toasties, Sergeant Pepper's Ice Cream, Winston's, The Red House, Bookworks... This was the perfect get-away spot for my wife and me. Hoping to return soon. Thank you!

Small property, enough for 2 people. The property looks old with old switches etc. The carpet needs replacing, it's looking old and tired. Had many marks on it.

Ideal spot

This is a great location, with a 10 minute walk to the ocean, downtown and the Monday farmers market.The house had everything we needed and was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to spend the holiday!

We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. Close to everything and a nice little spot to spend the Christmas holiday. Very clean and well appointed in the kitchen. Everything we hoped for!
