Enjoy Relaxing Stay in Quiet Kill Devil Hills Neighborhood

This beach house provides a nice getaway in a quiet area of Kill Devil Hills. It is a 2 minute walk to the Bay Drive sound side walking and biking trail. There is a 5 minute walk to the Hayman Boulevard sound pier where the best sunsets imaginable can be seen. The sound can be seen from the front porch of the house. It is a very short drive to one of many public beach accesses for enjoy a swim in the ocean.
The home contains new upgrades from a recent remodel including countertops, plumbing, painting and all new furnishings. There is a queen size bed, full size bed and 2 separate twin size bunk beds for children.
This home is great for a joint family vacation to enjoy the wonderful Outer Banks.

Great Location

Nice, quiet neighborhood close to the sound and the beach. Very spacious and clean. Host was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of.

Location was excellent, We were able to move around to many restaurants, and places for the kids.

Overall our experience was great the property had everything we needed. The new deck was a delight for the kids to play around.

Great Stay

The place was very clean upon arrival. It felt like home away from home. With no complications and a great quiet location, this place is the ideal spot for any family or group to have a comfortable vacation.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Cute, cozy beach cottage. Located on a quiet street, close to Bay Drive for the XC runners :) Straight shot to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. The girls had a great time! Thank you.

Excellent Location

We had a great week staying at this home. The location near the sound was near a bike path and a quick walk to some beautiful sunsets. The home was clean and just as described. The communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

OBX vacation

Daniel made everything super easy for our trip to the Outer Banks! The house was a great base for driving to the beach and restaurants. Daniel was even thoughtful enough to give advice about how to navigate the traffic patterns in the area. Would definitely stay here again if I come back!

Perfect OBX House for a Family Vacation

My family had a great time at this property. The location was ideal as we could walk to the sound side for fishing , and a short drive to the beach. We had plenty of options for eating and shopping. The house was clean and well stocked. Next time we come visit the Outer Banks we'll look for this house again.

Great comfortable simple get away house from kind professional folks!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a comfortable and quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the sound. The walk to the beach was a little further, but easy enough to access if you dont mind crossing the main road on foot! We had 8 adults stay in the house and it was a great fit for our crew. Four of us stayed in the little dorm style bunk bed room and it was just like summer camp!

Great Time Again

This was our 2nd year in a row at this house for July 4th, and it was just what we needed. We love the quiet sound side, the new couch was super comfortable, my friends and I had room to cook and eat and chill in the big main room and on the large deck. Thanks for another great stay!

Beach vacation

Great little house for a quick stay at the beach. The sound was really beautiful. Too far to walk to ocean side, but if you left early enough in the morning you could find public parking for beach access. It was nice having a grill for dinner!

Our obx getaway

Daniel allowed us to check in a little early which was so great because we came from the beach! It was such a lovely home and was so clean. It had all the essentials we needed from towels to kitchen necessities. Over all really great place and super quiet. It was a nice little walk to the sound side and close to everything.

NICE CLASSIC OBX PROPERTY.

Stayed for 4 days for father's day. Very comfortable for 6. It would sleep more. The beds were comfortable. We had a very peaceful stay. We will be back.

Won’t let a little drizzle rain on our parade

Lovely little beach house! Very clean and actually very spacious in the common area. It rained 4/6 days we were there, so we stayed inside more than anticipated, but none the less we had a very relaxing vacation. Also, the owner was very friendly and answered any questions we had!

Quick getaway

This property was so nice and just what we needed for our short getaway. Daniel was so nice and very helpful when it came to the check in and check out process. He reached out before our stay and it made the whole experience more personal. It being a pet friendly home made it even better! The couches are super comfy and was a very nice way to relax after coming back from the beach. It is also a short walk from the sound side and the sunsets are beautiful!

First stay on sound side

My family has always stayed closer to ocean so I was a little apprehensive renting on sound side but I must say it was just as enjoyable 😉 The rental was very nice and clean , good location with easy access to the ocean.

Great location, friendly owner.

The property location is excellent, very short walk to the sound. Neighbors are friendly. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. The home was tidy and all items needed and more were provided. The carpet did have an odor associated with being a pet friendly property but the home was otherwise very clean. The size and price range of the property is appealing to a single or two family group which can be a hard find!

Great beach house in a great location

We stayed in Daniel’s beach house for a long weekend. We originally had it booked the week before but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change dates and Daniel was very flexible with it. The house was clean, well-stocked and well-organized. Loved the location. It was walking distance to the sound and just a quarter mile drive to the public beach access. It was close to stores and restaurants. I went out for a run and the multi path trail has a great view of the sound. Would love to come back next summer!
